The Xishui County 6-10 Office (a special governmental agency set up to
persecute Falun Gong), the Xishui County Police Department, and all the
local police stations have used a variety of inhumane methods to persecute Falun
Dafa and its practitioners, whose ages range from 11 to over 80 years of age.
Many practitioners have been arrested, detained, beaten, tortured, forced to pay
heavy fines, and sentenced to prison or labor camps. Many homes have been
ransacked, and the Falun Gong books and other material were confiscated and
destroyed. The authorities have made up many lies to defame the practitioners,
and even persecuted many of their family members who are not Falun Gong
practitioners. They have done everything they can to force the practitioners to
write statements of remorse, trample Master Li's picture, and curse Master Li
and Falun Dafa. Many practitioners have lost all their earthly possessions. Some
practitioners have been forced to flee from their homes and leave their loved
ones behind. Due to the tight information blockade imposed by the local
authorities, the details on the sufferings of Xishui practitioners were not made
public until now. The ruthless persecution continues to this day. Some
practitioners who are being detained in prison are in critical condition and
near death. We once again urge all kind-hearted people all over the world to
help us stop this vicious persecution. The following is a partial report on the
persecution of Xishui practitioners. Due to a variety of reasons (such as
incomplete names and details), the sufferings of several hundred additional
practitioners are not included in this report.
