After my American co-workers returned from Mainland China for a business trip, they started talking about what they saw in Beijing. They visited Tiananmen Square first. They witnessed policemen beating kind and innocent Falun Gong practitioners to the ground, while allowing gangsters to kick and punch them. My American coworkers were shocked; they couldn't bear to look and they wanted to end their trip at once.
I asked them, "How did you know those people [that beat the practitioners] were gangsters?"
They said, "They didn't look like anything else." They asked me what the banners that the practitioners were holding said. I told them, "It reads 'Falun Dafa is Good."
They were surprised, "What, isn't freedom of speech a basic human right? So you mean people do get arrested for this? What kind of nation is this?"
I said, "Did you know that the Chinese government actually said that the practitioners are the ones beating the cops?"
My coworkers sighed, "That government is quite shameless."
So the Chinese government should stop fantasizing that no one knows what is being done to practitioners. Millions of tourists are witnessing their actions, not to mention the heavens above. The good and the bad will get what they deserve.
