On April 15, 2000, about 100 practitioners and 100 family members, of the detained practitioners, went to the labor camp to visit the detained practitioners who were on hunger strike. However, the labor camp had imposed a curfew. An officer said that the City authorities already knew the situation in the labor camp, and nobody was allowed to visit the detained practitioners. An ambulance was parked in the yard waiting for emergent situations.
According to sources, two practitioners had been sent to hospital for emergency treatment because of injuries caused by forced-feeding, and their current condition is still unknown. In addition, some people have sent in more force-feeding equipments to the labor camp. Some people called the City office to question the authorities about the situation but did not get any response.
The hunger strike is still going on. The labor camp is blocking the news.
