When I met Gao Xianmin, in Beijing, he was a biology instructor at Jinan University in Guangzhou City. Although Mr. Gao was 5ཇ'' tall, he was gentle and polite. At the time, many practitioners had come to Beijing, and Mr. Gao was one of them.

While talking with Mr. Gao, I learned that he was an only child. He had a happy and harmonious family, a capable wife, and a young daughter. His father owned a company, and hoped to transfer the company to Mr. Gao to manage. Nonetheless, Mr. Gao firmly let go of all of this, and went to Beijing by himself to safeguard the Fa.

While in Beijing, Mr. Gao frequently used his own money to buy blankets and food for other practitioners. One practitioner wanted to return to Hunan Province and to convince practitioners there to come out. At the time, many practitioners were short of money. This practitioner did not have enough money for the trip so Mr. Gao gave this practitioner a few hundred yuan (Chinese money unit), and encouraged this practitioner to proceed. Later, Mr. Gao returned to Guangzhou to convince practitioners there to come forward. We were not sure whether he would be able to come back to Beijing, but Mr. Gao confidently replied that he would return for sure. Indeed, two weeks later, Mr. Gao came back, and brought along many other practitioners.

After that, I lost contact with Mr. Gao. Later, a practitioner who knew him told me that the day before the evil force labeled Dafa an "evil cult", Mr. Gao and other practitioners enlightened to realize that they must stand up to stop the evil. So, about 10 of them got together at about 5 AM and decided to go to Tiananmen Square. However, patrolling guards found them. Before they were able to go very far, a police bus stopped them. Mr. Gao was the first to be dragged onto the bus, along with a few other practitioners. The rest of the practitioners quickly dispersed. The police rushed away to try to catch these practitioners, and there was only one policeman left in the bus to watch Mr. Gao and others. When Mr. Gao noticed the doors on both sides of the bus, he suddenly got an idea. He opened one door and said to the practitioners: "this way please". So, several practitioners jumped off the bus. It took the policeman some time before realizing what was going on. So, the policeman rushed over to close the door, made a large sound by moving the bolt of his rifle, then pointed to Mr. Gao and said: "do you dare to run away again?" Mr. Gao paid no attention to him at all, opened the other door, and said to the rest of the practitioners: "this way please". So all the other practitioners jumped off the bus. The policeman did not know what to do, grabbed Mr. Gao by his clothes, and said, "you won't be able to get away". Mr. Gao replied with a smile: "I don't want to get away". As a result, Mr. Gao was locked in a detention center in Beijing. During the police interrogation, Mr. Gao was intelligent and humorous. The police got very tired but could not find any reason to be angry. In the prison cell, Mr. Gao started to introduce Dafa to prisoners and explained to them the truth about Falun Gong. These prisoners respected him greatly for his determination toward Dafa, and even called him "Dafa". After this period, Mr. Gao was transferred to the Representative Office of Guangzhou Police in Beijing, and was subsequently brought back to Guangzhou and locked up for 15 days. After Mr. Gao was released, he frequently shared his experiences with other practitioners, and encouraged other practitioners to come forward.

The day I was released from prison, I learned from another practitioner that Mr. Gao had died in a detention center in Guangzhou. My heart was filled with sorrow and anger. The chief representative of the evil force, Jiang Zemin, and his accomplices in Guangzhou created another blood debt. This practitioner told me that it was when Mr. Gao was chatting with friends in a park in Guangzhou that he was arrested for "illegal assembly". At the detention center, Mr. Gao went on a hunger strike to protest his illegal imprisonment by the police. He was force-fed with salt water. At one time, he was force-fed with two Jin (Chinese weight unit) of salt water. Water with salt that was not yet completely dissolved was forcefully fed in a ruthless, barbaric way! Mr. Gao lost consciousness. When the police sent him to a hospital, it was already too late. It was then that the police informed Mr. Gao's relatives of his death. According to the law, since the reason for Mr. Gao's death was unclear, relatives could be present when forensic medical experts dissected Mr. Gao's body. However, Mr. Gao's relatives were not allowed to be present, and thus were not able to find out the results of the forensic analysis. The police claimed that Mr. Gao died of heart failure. However, everyone who knows Mr. Gao can testify that Mr. Gao never had any heart problems.

This is how a good person left, in such a hasty and quiet way, but his footsteps in validating Dafa are shining brightly. We here formally tell those who are assisting the evil force in persecuting Dafa practitioners that compassionate or evil actions will be rewarded or punished in kind. The time has become really close to the day when Jiang, Zemin will be sent to the historic trial court. Those who are clueless and continue to be accomplices in evil will surely pay for their own evil actions.
