On May 28, 2007, the renowned International Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance Art Exhibition again came to New York City. In a busy central part of Manhattan,16 canvases and two Chinese paintings were displayed in a spacious exhibition hall illuminated with soft lighting from its high ceilings. "The Statue of Buddha" was featured in the center of the hall. Its solemn and compassionate presence was set off by a golden satin cloth. A large vase of flowers was placed in front of "The Statue of Buddha," and their fragrance filled the space.

Curators explain the background and inner meaning of each painting and answer viewers' questions

From noon to evening, people in twos and threes walked into the exhibition hall in a steady stream. From time to time, the exhibition hall was full of people. Curators enthusiastically explained the background and inner meaning of each painting, and answered viewers' questions.

Curator Ms. Mela said, "Today was the first day of the exhibition, and many people came, including Chinese people, Westerners, people in New York, and from around the world. They felt that the exhibition was very beautiful, and the persecution of Falun Gong very cruel. Many people have learned about Falun Gong through this exhibition. This time they asked some detailed questions, such as, what Falun Gong really is, what has Falun Gong to do with politics, why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong, where to learn the exercises, what they can do to help stop the persecution and other questions."

Most Chinese who came to view the exhibition had already learned the truth about Falun Gong from The Epoch Times newspaper. A teacher from the UK filmed the art exhibition with his video camera to share with his students when he returned home. A 13-year-old girl and her mother viewed the exhibition and said that she would tell the teachers in her school, hoping that they would bring their students to come to view the exhibition. An artist that came complimented the paintings' skillful execution He asked where one could learn their techniques, because, as he said, "It is quite rare to see such techniques."

Coordinator of the art exhibition Ms. Wang Weixing said that she was glad to return to cosmopolitan area of Manhattan to hold the Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance art exhibition. She explained, "The works displayed were created by a group of accomplished artists with different backgrounds, but all of the artists are Falun Gong practitioners. They put their understanding of life and their personal experiences into their works of art to display a journey toward 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' These works embody a wonderful unity of Heaven and Man, life's sublimation after assimilating to Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, the manifestation of good and evil in the brutal persecution of Falun Gong launched by the Chinese communist dictator, and the universal law that good will be rewarded and evil be punished."

Ms. Wang stressed that these works show people that when righteousness, freedom, dignity and human nature are trampled upon, ordinary people become unusual. "When evil challenges the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, Falun Dafa practitioners demonstrate uncompromising spirit and great compassion and forbearance in the face of hatred, violence, and even killing. This ordinary group of practitioners use their lives to practice Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, disseminate the truth of the universe, uphold justice, spotlight human beings' moral dilemmas, and shine upon the human world with the brilliance of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance."

On May 27, 2007, to support the 22 million Chinese people that have quit the Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, the Korean Quitting the CCP Service Center and other organizations held a large scale rally and parade in Ulsan City, the largest heavy industrial city in southern Korea. Representatives from the Korean Falun Dafa Association, former Chairman of the City Council Mr. Kim Sung-man, and former Representative of the Central District Mr. Ang Shiyung participated in the rally and parade. Ang said the Chinese Communist Party cannot be forgiven

The parade had four sections, including the Divine Land Marching Band, four traditional Korean instruments dance, waist drum troupe, and a re-enactment of the CCP's live organ harvesting.

Mr. Liu: "We will have a happy life without the Communist Party"

Mr. Liu is Chinese. He said, "I am not a Communist Party member or a Youth League member, but I certainly support the Chinese that have quit the Party." He continued, "Without the Communist Party, we could live a happy life. My grandfather acquired a lot of property due to his hard work. Communist Party officials confiscated it. On June 4, 1989, so many university students were suppressed by the Party's tanks and machine guns. If the CCP truly loves the country and loves the people, how can it do these evil things, violating the laws of heaven and nature?"

"Falun Gong practices 'Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.' It is very good. Before the CCP suppressed Falun Gong, when I went shopping, I looked for vendors with a Falun emblem, because they didn't cheat their customers or sell them short. And now look at China! If you don't cheat, you are a fool. If you don't take the freebies, you are a fool. Many people bring a portable scale when they go shopping. This must be a unique in the world."

Liu talked about the Chinese Communist Party's live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners, "I believe it is true. I have a friend woring at the 4th Central Hospital of Tianjian City as a mechanic. He saw in person that living people were secretly transported into the hospital to have their organs cut out. I read the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party. It is a great book. The Communist Party is a evil cult. "

Liu said he loved his country, China, "but the Communist Party can't represent China. I wish that God would destroy the Party immediately. Without the Party, we could have happy lives."

Chinese workers wait in line to quit the Communist Party

Ms. He Lianyu from the Ulsan City Quitting the CCP Service Center told the reporter a story about Chinese workers waiting in line to quit the CCP. "One day we went to the industrial district, where many Chinese work. To our surprise, when they saw our flyers about quitting the CCP, they immediately waited in a long line to quit. When they had to return to work, one worker had not completed the withdrawal process. He had to leave, but I can still remember the anxious look in his eyes."

Many volunteers at the Quitting the CCP Service Center can't speak Chinese or speak little Chinese. They communicate with people with a few very simple Chinese words.

Before the parade started, a Chinese spectator said that he knew personally more than one hundred people that had already quit the Chinese Communist Party. He said, "I used to be the manager of a medium-sized company. Later, because of the CCP's unreasonable policies, the company was about to go bankrupt. To avoid the crisis, I escaped to Korea." "Everyone knows the Party is corrupt." He wished more people would quit the CCP.

Ang Shiyung: "The Chinese Communist Party cannot be forgiven"

Former Chairman of Ulsan City Council Mr. Kim Sung-man said in an interview, "The Chinese Communist Party will collapse. It can't last long because it denies the existence of God. The more it suppresses its people, the less it can maintain its authority. I have heard that more than 22 million Chinese have quit the Party already and found real freedom and happiness. I extend to them my respect and appreciation."

Former city council Representative of the Central District of Ulsan City Mr. Ang Shiyung participated in the parade, too. He said that the Chinese Communist Party had committed numerous crimes in the past. "Recently, I learned that the CCP is harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. I believe the CCP is truly unforgivable. I support this rally. I appreciate all the people that participated in this event."

Representative of the Korean Falun Dafa Association Mr. Wu Shilie read a statement. He said that the Communist Party has already been uprooted. "In the face of the CCP's live organ harvesting crime, many governments and media throughout the world are keeping silent in consideration of their economic interests. After the CCP is destroyed, history will hold them responsible."

The parade ended in Ulsan's Grand Park. The Divine Land Marching Band performed its final selection "Coming for You" to complete the event. Since this event, all the residents in this industrial city of south Korea, including Koreans, Chinese-Koreans, and Chinese workers, know more about the wave of quitting the Chinese Communist Party.

Falun Gong Practitioners from Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia organized two events on Saturday and Sunday May 12 and 13, 2007, in the center of Sarajevo, to educate the public about Falun Gong. The people of Sarajevo were given the opportunity to learn the Falun Gong exercises, to talk to practitioners, and to look at Falun Dafa flyers and posters.

The Falun Gong information stand attracts the attention of passersby

The people of Sarajevo also learned about the genocide committed over the last eight years against Falun Gong practitioners in China, as well as about the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) systematic organ harvesting from living practitioners in labor camps and prisons.

Many of the passersby were shocked to hear what was going on and signed a petition calling on the government of Bosnia-Herzegovina to pass a resolution similar to one passed by the European Parliament in September 2006, condemning the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and asking the Chinese regime to immediately release all imprisoned practitioners. This petition and all of the collected signatures were sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina on Monday, May 14, 2007, along with detailed information about the genocide against practitioners in China.

Many people showed great interest in Falun Gong and wanted to know where they could learn the exercises and read the books. They were happy to learn that practitioners were holding free classes on both days of the event and that all information about Falun Gong (including the books) is available for free on the Internet.

The media shows great interest in Falun Gong

Three days prior to the first event, Bosnian television broadcast a 40-minute interview with a Bosnian practitioner, currently residing in Austria. Hundreds of thousands of people in Bosnia, Herzegovina and Croatia were able to hear about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution by the Chinese Communist Party. Even the moderator was shocked beyond words when he heard the details of the organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China.

On Sunday, May 13, Dnevni Avaz, the newspaper with the widest circulation in Bosnia-Herzegovina, ran a story about the events organized by practitioners in the center of Sarajevo and even more people benefited from hearing about Falun Gong and the persecution in China.

On May 19, Falun Gong practitioners held activities in the center of Brussels, the capital of Belgium, to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong and its corruption of morality. The event called for an end to the persecution.

Exhibits in this event included graphics of persecuted practitioners as well as a full-length French version of the Report into Allegations of Organ Harvesting of Falun Gong Practitioners in China, a report published by independent investigators David Kilgour, Canadian MP and former Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific, and David Matas, international human rights lawyer. Matas condemned organ removal from unwilling Falun Gong practitioners as 'a form of evil we have yet to see on this planet', causing sensation and concern.

Brussels is the headquarters of the European Union as well as the political seat of NATO. Dutch and French are the two official languages in Belgium. In order to meet the demand for information in various languages, practitioners provided persecution reports, Falun Gong leaflets, the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, etc. in English, Chinese, French, and Dutch. On another side under the banner of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," practitioners demonstrated Falun Gong exercises in unison.

As usual the activities attracted a great deal of attention from passersby. Recently however, more people talked to practitioners about how to stop the evil and asked what they could do to effectively help end the persecution.

A western lady who appeared to be well-educated talked with practitioners for a long time. Her inquiries were very detailed, including what Falun Gong is, why the CCP persecutes, etc. Finally, she even offered financial help. Practitioners explained thoroughly, saying, "The purpose of these kinds of activities is to expose the CCP's lies. At the moment, using the huge market of China as economic bait, the CCP tries to control or coerce western countries into giving up their principles and turning a blind eye on the CCP's tyranny. You can write to your government calling for action to demand that the CCP respect human rights and stop the persecution."

In the end the lady took the material and said, "Thank you for telling me the true facts. I condemn the evil's atrocities." Practitioners thanked her sincerely.

After viewing the posters about the persecution, a young lady walked up to practitioners with similar questions and requests. Practitioners told her, "We do not accept cash. What we need, however, is your understanding and help to support us in ending the persecution. You can tell more people."

Taking leaflets with information about Falun Gong websites, the lady promised that she would tell all the people she knew and more, about the persecution happening in China.

Having learned the truth about the persecution, a college student from Germany said emotionally, "I cannot accept the fact that such atrocities could take place in our modern era of upholding democracy and freedom. Why have I not heard about it before? I am a member of the Student Union in the University. When I return, I will tell my fellow students about this persecution so that we can voice condemnation together."

She wanted to know more about the persecution. Practitioners told her, "You can get in touch with Falun Gong practitioners in Germany who can help you to obtain leaflets in German."

Noting contact details, she promised that she would get in touch as soon as she returned.

Having viewing posters about the persecution and seeing the peaceful exercises, a gentleman said to practitioners earnestly, "You are doing great. The persecution will be stopped if the evil crimes are exposed and everyone learns the truth about the persecution. The evil will be eliminated."

Many more people asked for materials after seeing the photos, saying they wanted to know more about Falun Gong. They signed the petition to stop the persecution.

The event also took place at a Chinese tourist hot-spot. During the event some Chinese tourists came over to talk to practitioners. A middle-aged couple commented, "We have seen most of your leaflets in China already. The CCP has just recently tightened control of access to web contents. It's not easy to get around the censorship. We very much would like to continue reading your news."

 They added, "Having gotten to know about Falun Gong, we want very much to learn the practice. Do you have any tutorials?" When practitioners urged them to quit the evil organizations of the CCP, to which they replied, "In the past we were not from the right class of families. In those crazy times, we did not qualify to join any of their organizations but rather had to work on farms to be re-educated."

They took practitioners' contact details so as to obtain the software to break through the Internet blockade. Many Chinese people took leaflets and quietly listened to practitioners' explanations.
