On April 14, 2007, a group of Finnish practitioners came to the central railway station to explain the fact that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has never stopped the horrible persecution of Falun Gong. They appealed to the Finnish government and people to give a helping hand, to stop this eight-year cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China, who believe in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance.

Passersby viewed to the banners and graphic picture scenes, and listened to the schoolgirl’s speech on this beautiful sunny day. The girl said, “My name is Sunny. I am a university student from China and came to study in Helsinki this January. On the afternoon of March 20, my father, Mr. Zhang Weijie, living in the suburbs of Wuhang City, suddenly went missing. After many days of inquiry, our family members learned that he had been taken away on his way home from work by the“610 Office,” a Gestapo-like organization, in Wuhang City only because he practices Falun Gong. This is the third time that my father had been kidnapped since July 20, 1999, when the persecution of Falun Gong began. Because my father refused to give up the practice, he was subjected to brainwashing sessions and a forced labor camp imprisonment. My mother was also imprisoned for one month in a forced labor camp during that time. Thus, my happy and harmonious family was gone. My grandparents were left with no one to take care of them, and our entire family was in serious financial difficulty. Later my parents were released, but were under continuous surveillance.”

“Now, they have kidnapped my father again, and I am in a foreign country. I am extremely concerned, after learning about the CCP atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. I started practicing Falun Gong with my mother when I was only six years old and have benefited both physically and mentally. I feel that my belief in “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” is correct. Therefore, I hope that the government of Finland can lend a helping hand in rescuing my father. What happened to my father is only the tip of the iceberg. While I am writing to you, at this moment, there are still tens of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted. I sincerely hope that the government of Finland can help rescue those kind and innocent people who are being persecuted in China.”

People read, listened and signed their names right after they learned the truth. Some went to the practitioners and asked why the CCP persecutes Falun Gong. They said, “What can we do to help? What has the Finnish government done? You have done good and right and should let all the world know about this persecution.”

There were a lot of people interested in Falun Gong. One Finnish lady approached a practitioner and said, “I found Falun Gong on the Internet a year ago, and I began practicing myself. When I practice, I can feel a strong energy field. It is pretty good.” After that, she asked for the practitioner’s phone number and email address, and details of the group practice site in Helsinki. Finally she said, “I am very happy to see you, I will be back to find you.”

Almost every Chinese person who passed by that day accepted Chinese “truth-clarification” material, the “Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party,” and TheEpoch Times special edition on quitting the CCP. Two or three mainland tourists especially, each got the materials and were eager to know the facts. One of them asked a practitioner to help him to quit the CCP Young Pioneers on The Epoch Times website.

Practitioners all said that they can feel that the Chinese people are awakening, and we need to do more to explain the facts before heaven eliminates the CCP. We should grasp the time to save more and more Chinese people who were poisoned by the evil CCP spirit.

On March 31, 2007, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the French Branch of the Global Service Centre for Withdrawing from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) held activities marking twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations at Chinatown in the thirteenth District of Paris. By means including display boards and musical performances, the organizers wanted to get across some important messages to people in Paris, especially the Chinese people from China and the overseas Chinese who live in Paris: “There have been twenty million withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations and the specter of the CCP has been eliminated.” They called on the Chinese people to recognize the evil nature of the CCP and join them in dissolving the CCP so as to have a bright future.

Though it was drizzling in the afternoon, many people came to view the display boards exposing the Chinese Communist regime’s atrocities. When reading a statement of the Global Service Centre for Withdrawing from the CCP, a representative of the French Branch of the Service Centre Mr. Hu said: “After the Epoch Times' editorial series the ‘Nine Commentaries on the CCP’ was published, the CCP-quitting campaign has become the CCP’s biggest headache. With twenty million Chinese people awakening, the CCP is on the brink of collapse as its specter has been rooted out. For your own well-being and that of your family members and friends in the long run, we are here to hold this activity to support the twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. We would like to urge all of you to seriously think about the meaning behind these twenty million people’s great deeds and pass the divine providence to other people, so as to get ready before the collapse of the CCP.”

Many Chinese people and representatives from local Chinese organizations participated in the activities to support the twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. Among them was the Vice-Chairman of the French Branch of the China Democracy Party Jiang Youlu, who gave a speech to expose the killing nature of the CCP. He expressed that the CCP leaders’ “greatness” is based on the Chinese people’s blood. During Khmer Rouge’s rule, one fourth of Cambodia’s population was massacred and the then Cambodian Communist leader Pol Pot closely followed Mao Zedong’s ideology. Jiang added that when talking about Mao Zedong, one of the CCP’s leaders Wang Ming once said: “Today, Mao told me that whoever they are, their great exploits are established upon bloody killing. The bloodier killing their people suffer, the greater their exploits will be. What was behind Lenin’s great exploits was killing eight million Russians; what was behind Stalin’s great exploit was that seven million Russians were killed.”

Mr. Jiang said, “China's current economic development is not because of the CCP's rule, but the Chinese people’s hard toil. If it had not been for the CCP's various political movements, which damaged China’s economy and resources, China’s economy should have become developed long ago. Taiwan and Hong Kong became one of Asia's Four Little Dragons a couple of decades ago, but there were many people starving to death under the CCP’s rule during that period of time. Nowadays, many high-ranking CCP officials have become millionaires, as they have illegally misappropriated people’s properties. The CCP is indeed an evil political party. ”

Mr. Jiang also urged all the Chinese people to recognize the intrinsic evil nature of the CCP and join them in supporting the CCP-quitting campaign. He added, “The Chinese people used to have great moral standards and its 5000-year-old civilization and culture. People are supposed to value compassion and despise barbarism, but the CCP has long advocated struggle among the people. The so-called anti-corruption campaign at present is nothing more than factional infighting within the CCP, and their purpose is to defend the evil party. There have been so many people withdrawing from the CCP inside and outside China. They really have made a wise decision.”

Seeing the activities marking the twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations, Mr. Chen, a Chinese person from Jinxiang Township, Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province, talked to reporters of the Epoch Times, the New Tang Dynasty TV and the Sound of Hope Radio Network. He told the reporters the deplorable situation in his hometown in the wake of a typhoon, and asked the media to cover the news about the local government's dereliction of duty and indifferent attitude towards the disaster last August. The government's failure to launch timely rescue operations has resulted in heavy civilian casualties. Since local governments didn’t take appropriate relief measures to help the disaster victims, over one hundred villagers in the Jinxiang Township’s Heweichang signed a petition with their fingerprints to call on the higher authorities to probe into the corruption and other irregularities of the local government’s disaster relief task force. However, the problem has not been resolved, and disaster victims are still left destitute, as most relief materials were embezzled. After repeatedly appealing to higher authorities, what these victims got was despair. They thus asked their townsman Mr. Chen, who lives in France, to bring the petition and other documents to France and make public the deplorable situation in their hometown. They also asked him to accuse the Chinese Communist regime of corruption, and call on the international society and media to pay attention to the situation and help them.

Mr. Chen stated that the villagers have never received relief from the government after the disaster. Since relief materials were embezzled by governments at various levels, disaster victims have been left destitute, or still live in dangerous buildings. Mr. Chen added, “As the disaster victims’ situation is deplorable, they have lost confidence in the CCP. They said that all of what the CCP said was lies.”

After witnessing the activities marking the twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP, Mr. Voh Dui, an overseas Vietnamese, told the reporter: “I am against the Vietnamese Communist Party as well as the Chinese Communist Party, since there is no freedom under the Communist Party’s rule. I’d like to urge all the people around the world to oppose the autocratic Chinese Communist regime. It is good news to learn that there have been twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated organizations. For those who haven’t withdrawn from the CCP, I call on them to follow suit as soon as possible, so that their children may have a better future.”

French resident Ms. Rose said: “It is something significant to have twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP. The fact that such a huge number of Chinese people have withdrawn from the CCP is good for both China and its people.” Ms. Rose stated, “Under autocratic rule, people cannot have freedom of thought. On the contrary, people in a democratic system not only are able to enjoy freedom of thought, freedom of action and freedom of belief, but they can also find their intrinsic human dignity and genuine traditional culture.”

Martin, a German young man who speaks Chinese mandarin very fluently, told our reporter that he wanted to tell the Chinese people who have not withdrawn from the CCP: “I am very pleased to come here to mark the twenty million Chinese people withdrawing from the CCP. As a German, I know that Germany also had tragic history about sixty or seventy years ago, in which Hitler killed a large number of people, but sadly many people didn’t step forward to oppose him. As the CCP has also killed a tremendous number of people since it took power in 1949, I hope that the Chinese people would not make the same mistake. The CCP is going to collapse soon. I would like to urge you to make a wise decision and quit the CCP as soon as possible.”
