In Wujia Township, Panshan County, Liaoning Province, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Wang Jieming and Mr. Zhang Dalin were illegally arrested. The police beat Mr. Wang Jieming to the ground and shoot him in his buttocks.

The Police in Panshan County, Liaoning Province Deliberately Shoots Falun Gong Practitioner
 

On the evening on November 13, 2007, three officers from Wujia Township Police Station in Panshan County, Liaoning Province arrested Falun Gong practitioners Wang Jieming and Zhang Dalin, who were driving by in their car. Mr. Wang Jieming was handcuffed with his arms behind his back. The police beat him to the ground and made him lie on his stomach. One policeman then shot him in the buttocks. The bullet went out the other side.

Mr. Wang Jieming is an employee of Liaohe Oilfield Petrochemical Plant, and Zhang Dalin is from Xinglongtai District, Panjin City. Following their arrest, their families looked for them everywhere, including Panjin City Police Department,  Liaohe Oilfield Police Station and local police stations, but could not find them. On November 18, their family members managed to find Mr. Wang Jieming's bloodstained clothing in a trashcan on the 4^th floor of the Panshan County People's Hospital and eventually located Wang Jieming at Panjin City People's Hospital.

Wang Jieming had asked the police to inform his family of the shooting, but the police did not do so. Instead, they secretly transferred Wang Jieming to the 4^th floor of the Panshan County People's Hospital after he was treated at the 2nd Hospital of Panjin City.

Wang Jieming is forced to wear handcuffs when he sleeps and is guarded by a number of police officers on shifts. No one is permitted to visit him.

Mr. Zhang Dalin has also suffered severe persecution. Chest pains prevent him from eating normally. He is now held at Tuwei Detention Center in Panshan County. The police have impounded their car.

Ms. Li Dianqin's Family Worried for Her Safety after She Is Illegally Detained for Over a Month
 

Ms. Li Dianqin is a resident in Huaxiang Community, Tiexi District, Shenyang City, Liaoning Province. She was illegally arrested by Xingshun Police Station while she distributed materials clarifying the truth about Falun Gong in Tiexi District on October 16 or 17, 2007. While her home was being illegally raided, Ms. Li was taken to Shenyang City Detention Center, where she is still currently detained. Xingshun Police Station prohibits anyone from visiting Ms. Li and rejects all packages delivered to her, even when they contain specific items of clothing that she needs. Over the past month there has not been any more information about Li Dianqin. Her family and friends are very worried about her well-being.

Ms. Li Dianqin is 56 years old. She has had a rough life, as her husband passed away early, leaving her and their young daughter behind. She had several diseases including liver cancer, as well as intestinal adhesions. She passed out frequently and had to be taken to the emergency room. She borrowed a lot of money for medical treatment, yet even so her health still didn't seem to improve at all.

Ms. Li started to practice Falun Gong. A few months later, she went to the hospital to get a checkup. To the doctor and her family's surprise, the intestinal adhesion was separated and open, and the tumor on her liver was completely gone! Her family and friends had witnessed the miracles and the wonders of Falun Gong. They were so amazed that they became very supportive of her practicing Falun Gong.

Ever since the Chinese Communist Party began the persecution of Falun Gong in July 1999, Ms. Li Dianqin has been brutally persecuted. In 2000, she was illegally detained at the brainwashing center in Tiexi District mental hospital. Then she was imprisoned in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp after she was brutally beaten by officers from Lingkong Police Station in Tiexi District. Because of the abuse she experienced, her face was deformed and her hands were swollen and bruised. The police said to her, "The Chinese Communist Party forbids you to practice Falun Gong; you would be better off stealing or even committing robbery!"

At Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, Ms. Li was tortured until her health became very poor. She started having bladder and bowel problems. The labor camp was afraid of being held responsible for her death, so she was released on medical probation.
