 On Saturday, July 15, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Hong Kong held a rally and march to protest the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. They called on all circles across the world to support investigation teams to enter China and help stop the CCP's brutal, nearly seven-year-long persecution.

More than four hundred practitioners in Hong Kong and other areas held a rally in Chater Garden in the morning. They first commemorated the fellow practitioners tortured to death in China, with one minute of silence. Some practitioners held wreaths. The atmosphere was solemn. A reenactment of some of the CCP’s torture methods was also set up on-site.

Mr. Kan Hung-cheung, spokesperson for the Hong Kong Falun Dafa Association, read out a statement. He pointed out that the persecution seemed not so brutal from the point of view of general society, but was more grim and bloody in labor camps and prisons, especially with the live organ removal recently exposed. Two Canadian VIPs conducted an independent investigation and confirmed the CCP’s harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. The report further demonstrates that the persecution is extremely brutal and inhuman.

The statement reads, "There is no language in this world that can describe the evilness of the CCP’s brutalities. One of the investigators pointed out that this evil is unprecedented on this planet. The persecution against Falun Gong is a crime against humanity.

"The Canadian independent investigation team’s report further confirms the existence of the CCP’s practice of organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners and exposed the extreme evilness and brutality of the CCP’s persecution. The situation of organ removal from living people tests each person’s moral baseline. Falun Gong practitioners call on all people and international circles to offer assistance to support investigation teams to enter China and conduct thorough, and independent investigations in labor camps, prisons and detention centers. The investigation will yield evidence of the persecution and lead to a complete stop to the CCP’s unlawful imprisonment of Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps, prisons and related facilities. The seven-year-long brutal persecution must be stopped and those criminals not willing to repent will be brought to justice."

Practitioners request the release of family members unlawfully imprisoned in China

Five family members of practitioners unlawfully imprisoned in China read a joint statement and demanded the CCP to immediately stop the persecution and imprisonment of Falun Gong practitioners and to release all practitioners being illegally detained. Chen Muhan arrived in Hong Kong from Australia and called for the rescue of her mother, practitioner Zeng Aihua, who has Hong Kong residency. Ms. Zeng Aihua was abducted by Shanghai police in late May and is imprisoned in Pudong Detention Center. The regime does not allow her to meet with family members or with an attorney.

Hong Kong Falun Gong practitioner Zhu Keming, who was secretly sentenced to five years' imprisonment for suing Jiang Zemin and Luo Gan for their illegal persecution of Falun Gong, also read a statement from the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) on investigation of the CCP’s organ harvesting from living practitioners. He called on the international community to initiate special criminal investigation procedures into the CCP’s crimes against humanity and genocide. He also called on each country, organization and individual of conscience to take action to help stop the CCP’s crime of inhuman brutal genocide.

The rally ended a little past noon. Several hundred people then lined up and marched towards China’s Liaison Office. There was occasional rain with strong winds. The practitioners continued marching with banners and flags. Some distributed information exposing the CCP’s live organ removal along the march route. Many residents stopped to watch and accept the truth-clarification materials. At the conclusion of the march, the practitioners read a statement at the front entrance of the China Liaison Office.

Regarding the CCP’s seven-year-long persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, especially the recently released report on the CCP’s organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners, on the afternoon of July 15 practitioners in San Francisco held a rally on Garden Corner Square in Chinatown to protest the persecution of Falun Gong in China. A reenactment of the CCP’s torture means and atrocities, and informational poster boards were set up. After seeing the reenactment of the torture methods, tourists and local residents alike said that the CCP does not treat people as human.

Xuerong Zhang: More and more people wish to join the investigation coalition

Dr. Xuerong Zhang of the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, first introduced the Canadian investigation team’s conclusions, after its two-month investigation, that the CCP is harvesting vital organs from Falun Gong practitioners for profit. It is genocide that the international community should condemn. On July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin and a small faction within the CCP initiated the persecution of Falun Gong out of personal jealousy and self-interest. The seven-year-long persecution was committed based on Jiang’s genocidal policy of, "Ruining practitioners’ reputation, bankrupting them economically, and destroy them physically."

Dr. Zhang said, "Falun Gong practitioners have called on stopping the persecution with non-violent means. When we see that the CCP uses such brutal means to persecuted the Chinese people, we cannot tolerate such crimes. We also see that 12 million Chinese people have posted statement to renounce the CCP. It is so cruel that the CCP sells fellow Chinese people’s vital organs for huge profit."

She also disclosed that more and more people from all walks of life wished to join the coalition and asked for an end of the persecution. Dr. Zhang said, "In the last seven years, people have clearly seen who is peaceful and who are the criminals. We believe that righteousness will prevail."

Doctor Fan: Calling on kind-hearted people to stop the CCP’s persecution

Ms. Fan, a gynecology and obstetrics doctor, said, "Everyone knows that one needs to wait a long time for an organ transplant overseas, but in China, vital organs from living people can be bought anywhere and anytime. Why? Because in the CCP’s labor camps, concentration camps, even brainwashing centers, a Falun Gong practitioner can be pulled away for their vital organs.

"The CCP doctors do not use anesthesia when harvesting body organs to ensure the organs’ viability and less repulsion from patients receiving the organ."

Doctor Fan called on all kind-hearted people to act immediately to demand the CCP to stop the persecution and to call for an end to its crimes of organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners.

Chairman of China Amnesty: Protesting the CCP’s seven-year-long persecution of Falun Gong

The Chairman of China Amnesty, Shen Mo, said, "Today we are holding a rally here to protest the CCP’s seven-year-long persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and to support 12 million Chinese renouncing the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

"The CCP’s evilness has not changed since its reform and opening-up policy, taking advantage of foreign investment and collecting people’s assets to make China’s economy grow fast. Vast numbers of Chinese people in the lower economic level, especially unemployed workers and farmers, are still living in poverty. The polarization between rich and poor has become worse."

Steven: Everyone, Please Help More People Know the Facts

Steven, a market manager in the San Francisco Bay area, said that David Matas, international human rights lawyer, and David Kilgour, former Secretary of State (Asia-Pacific) for Canada formed an independent investigation team and released their report to the media on July 6, 2006. The report confirmed the CCP’s practice of removing vital organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. These atrocities are ongoing today.

Yu Li: We Hope Everyone Learns the Facts of Falun Gong

Yu Li, a computer engineer in Northern California, shared her feelings after reading the investigation report. She grew up in an army family. Her parents in China are anxious when she talks about activities here. She wanted everyone to know about the terrorist environment under which the Chinese people live.

She said, "The CCP’s persecution of Falun Gong has lasted for seven years. So far, 2,922 practitioners are known to have been tortured to death. Facing life-threatening danger, practitioners in China have exposed the CCP’s persecution and transmitted the persecution facts to practitioners overseas. What Falun Gong practitioners are doing is to tell people about the facts of the persecution occurring in China.

"We hope that everyone learns the facts of Falun Gong."

A New Practitioner: I Cannot Express Appreciation to Falun Gong with Human Language

A new practitioner who has practiced Falun Gong for a little over a month said, "I was shocked when I heard of the CCP’s organ removal from living people. I returned to Shenyang, China, to see a doctor because I had severe chronic diseases. I asked a taxi driver whether he knew about the organ removal from living Falun Gong practitioners. The driver said ‘This is not news. It occurred a few years ago.’"

In the following days, she took taxis and those drivers told her, "Everyone knows of this matter in Shenyang. It is old news. How come you are just learning about it now?"

After coming back from China, her illness relapsed and became more severe. Under the situation of no alternatives, she thought of trying Falun Gong. On the afternoon of May 18, she started to practice Falun Gong. Three days later, her severe rheumatism was gone. Her legs were not in pain anymore. The swelling in her legs and other areas was all gone.

The new practitioner said, "I asked myself, how can I change into a new person? I cried. I had illnesses for many years. Sometimes, I had so much pain that I did not feel like going on. I could not imagine that after practicing Falun Gong all my illnesses would be gone. Now I have become healthier. My appreciation to Falun Gong cannot be expressed with any human language.

So I stand up today to speak out, in order to have more fellow Chinese people learn about the grace of Falun Gong."

Passers-by Are Indignant at the CCP’s Atrocities

After seeing the information about the CCP’s atrocities, some tourists and local residents said that the CCP does not treat people as human.

A mother and her daughter watched the reenactment of the CCP’s torture means and live organ removal. The daughter Matina shed tears. Matina said, "The Communist party does not care about life. It is so in all communist countries."

A Chinese woman who emigrated from Hong Kong less than a year ago watched the reenactment of the CCP’s torture means. She said that she had heard of the persecution of Falun Gong when she was in Hong Kong. She felt sorrow when she learned that the CCP tortures practitioners to death. She said that she has learned about the CCP’s crimes in recent years.
