  • Announcing the Establishment of "The Allied Group to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (AGIPFGC) and Its Preliminary Investigations

    Founding Principles

According to the mounting facts we have already obtained, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has launched a campaign of genocide against the Falun Gong cultivation group, who follow the principles of Truth-Compassion-Forbearance. This shocking massacre, rarely seen in human civilization, has gone on for nearly seven years. Recently, several witnesses have exposed the crimes against humanity related to the CCP's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners to make huge profits and subsequently cremating the bodies to destroy the evidence. This form of murder for profit has been carried out for years and is still going on.

The persecution of Falun Gong has been carried out through the CCP's mobilization of the entire government machinery, and it was done under a complete information blockade and the defamation of the victims. All conscientious Chinese people who supported the victims were also persecuted by the CCP; therefore the grounds and conditions to coordinate a thorough investigation of this crime against humanity do not exist in Mainland China under the CCP's rule. This makes it necessary for an independent international investigation group to go to China and conduct on-site inquiries.

We are hereby establishing on this day the Allied Group to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (AGIPFGC).

This group will invite international human rights organizations, legal experts, medical institutions, world media, renowned persons and organizations and other relevant groups from different countries to join. We welcome justice-loving organizations and individuals from Mainland China to join this group.

Due to difficulties created by the Chinese consulates and embassies, the Investigation Group will begin its work while its members apply for visas. Because members of the group come from both inside and outside of China, those inside China can begin their investigation right away, and those living overseas can do some preparatory work in an effort to break through the CCP-imposed blockade on the borders.

    Organization

The group will be made up of all justice-loving people in the world who wish to rebuild our moral foundation, punish the evil and restore justice to those who are being persecuted. The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) will be in charge of overall coordination and the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) will take charge of the implementation of the specific work.

    1. The Group will have one director, several deputy directors, a general secretary, and a spokesman. (Note: We will set up branch teams according to the participation of organizations and individuals from different countries and regions, which will carry out relatively independent investigations under the coordination of the CIPFG.)

    2. The Group will have a secretarial team, a media team, a team to collect evidence and information, and a communications team.

    3. The Group will have a global report center, and will have report centers for provinces, municipal cities and autonomous regions according to the situations. The report center will set up the following: telephone, fax, email and mailing address.

    4. The Group will set up a website and an email listserv as well as phone lines, fax and mailing address.

Sweden: Practitioners Protest at the Chinese Consulate in Gothenburg on April 25th

On the 25th of April 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in Gothenburg and from the surrounding area peacefully gathered outside the Chinese Consulate to protest the 7-year brutal persecution, expose the CCP's crimes of harvesting organs from living practitioners, and clarify the truth of the historic April 25 appeal of 10,000+ Falun Gong practitioners which took place in Beijing in 1999. This year is the 7th anniversary of the peaceful gathering appealing to the Chinese authority for freedom of practice.

With posters in hands, practitioners distributed fliers to passers-by and chatted with them. A gentleman in his 50s said that he had heard about the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from Falun Gong practitioners. "It is terrible," he said.

Drivers of passing-by vehicles slowed down to read the banners and posters. Some also stopped momentarily and rolled down glass to get a flier or acquire more information. When they learned about the 7-year brutal persecution and the special meaning of April 25, they in succession expressed support for Falun Gong practitioners.

A practitioner who personally participated in the April 25 appeal seven years ago said: When we learned that Tianjin police beaten up and arrested practitioners who were peacefully appealing to a local journal, we, Beijing practitioners, spontaneously went to the National Appeal Office which is next Zhongnanhai-the central government compound to appeal. Our appeal was peaceful. We all stood there quietly and also made room available for pedestrians. We were just trying to safeguard our rights of belief with rationality and peace. We all left after government officials met representatives of practitioners and answered our requests."

Seven years later, Falun Gong has spread to nearly 80 countries. Meanwhile, in China, more than 10 million Chinese have quitted the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

The rationality of the "April 25" appeal unfolded the value and beauty of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance" principles to the public. The appeal also set a good example for all Chinese civilians. As a landmark historic event, the appeal made great contribution to the progress of Chinese society and the moral standard of the world. Its impact is far-reaching and exceptional.

Czech Republic: Practitioners Protest against Organ Harvesting in Chinese Concentration Camps

On March 22nd 2006, in the historic centre of Prague, a hunger strike protest took place. Practitioners of the Czech Republic aimed to inform people about the Chinese death camps, where organs are taken from living Falun Gong practitioners. Organs are then being sold for profit. During the presentation, many passers-by stopped to sign the petition calling for justice for practitioners.

Practitioners also reenacted organ removal operations which brought the atrocities happening in China to life. The passers-by were deeply shocked; many of them thought that concentration camps are something impossible in our modern society. People either expressed their support with few words or signed the petition.

The mock "operations" in Prague attracted not just tourists, but also the media's attention. Practitioners informed the Czech media, the Czech News Agency Source and NTD Television about organ harvesting in China's death camps. Also a reporter from the Czech radio station Radiozurnal invited the practitioners for telephone interviews.

A Chinese man living in Munich asked the practitioners for a Japanese flyer for his girlfriend. He himself knows about Falun Gong because many of his friends practice it. An elderly couple from Hungary, after they had read the flyers and watched an exercise demonstration, took more material about Falun Gong because they wanted to give them to their friends. Another man said, "Bravo!" then said he got the flyer earlier in his own country. In the afternoon, a lady from Prague came to ask how many signatures practitioners had collected; she herself signed the petition that morning.

Sources said that In China there are many death camps. Falun Gong practitioners quickly responded to the terrible news and in many countries open protests have taken place. Later on petitions will be handed to the government officials and leaders of many countries.

Germany: New Book, "The Persecution of Falun Gong," Recently Released

On March 2, 2006, a public introduction of the book, The Persecution of Falun Gong, was held in the cultural center of the city of Braunschweig, Germany. The activity was co-hosted by the local student human rights group and the author of the book, Manuel Horth.

The activity lasted about two hours. Manuel Horth made the opening speech and then read from a few selected chapters from the book. Among Falun Gong practitioners attending the activity, many of them had personally experienced persecution in China. They shared their stories with the audience. Jack Aura played piano. Mr. Aura is a member of the international group, "Playing Music for Human Rights." He has been actively involved in opposing the persecution of Falun Gong for many years.

The book is a compilation of documentary reports about the experiences of Falun Gong practitioners who suffered persecution by the Chinese Communist regime (published in German by Dexheimer, ISBN 3-932273-85-0).

One report in the book was about Mr. Zhu Feng, who now lives in Hannover as a refugee admitted by the German government. Zhu Feng used to be a very successful businessman in China. He lost his job during the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong. His wife could not bear the continuous pressure of the persecution and divorced him. Zhu Feng's sister, Zhu Hang, is also a Falun Gong practitioner. She was illegally detained and tortured many times in China. Zhu Feng managed to send out to the western world photographic evidence of the torture suffered by his sister. These photos became part of the earliest evidence exposing the Chinese Communist regime's brutal torture of Falun Gong practitioners. Zhu Hang is now being forcibly detained in a mental hospital where she is constantly forced to take nerve-damaging drugs. Her behavior is now like that of an eight-year-old child and she has totally lost her ability to understand like a normal person. Before leaving for Germany, Zhu Feng visited her sister in the mental hospital and confiscated some of the drugs that his sister was forced to take. The author of the book passed these drugs to a doctor for testing.

Zhu Xiaoyan, a Japanese language student living in Gottingen, described her experiences of being persecuted when she lived in China. As a Falun Gong practitioner, her university tried to expel her under the pressure from the Communist Party. Although Ms. Zhu passed all her examinations, the university refused to give her a diploma. She was also illegally detained and abused. It was the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance," taught to her in Falun Gong, that helped her get through the tough times.

Florian Akbar from Hamburg told the audience about his experience of peacefully appealing for justice for Falun Gong in Beijing's Tiananmen Square in 2002. As a student of education who practices Falun Gong, Mr. Akbar and other western Falun Gong practitioners broke the western media's silence on the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong through their protest in Beijing.

After the talk, some audience members stayed to have in-depth conversations with the speakers.
