  • Make a Choice Between Profit and Conscience

On April 18, 2006, one day prior to the visit of the head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Falun Gong practitioners from different places held a big rally in Washington DC, the capital of the US, to call upon the international community to stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and stop the mass killing.

    DC Rally

Dr. Terri Marsh gives a speech

The rally was jointly organized by the "Falun Dafa Association" and "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG). Banners reading, "Bring Jiang, Luo, Liu and Zhou to Justice," "Stop the Persecution, Stop the Killing," "Protest the CCP's Inhuman Killing, Calling on the International Community to Investigate and Urgently Rescue." The stage was surrounded with white wreaths. Participants wore white flowers on their chests, and unfurled white banners. The rally was solemn and respectful.

According to information collected, the CCP's criminal act of harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners, selling their organs for profit and then cremating the murdered bodies to destroy the evidence started in late 2000, reached a peak from 2001 to 2003, and organ harvesting is still taking place. No forced labor camps, prisons, detention centers, hospitals (especially police hospitals and military system hospitals), or extensions of forced labor camps and prisons (secret concentration camps) can escape the responsibilities for such atrocities.

Some Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China recall that during the time from 2000 to 2001, when a large number of Falun Gong practitioners traveled to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong, forced labor camps, prisons, detention centers and mental hospitals were overcrowded. Jiang's regime even released many criminals before their sentences were up to make room for Falun Gong practitioners. Later, Jiang's regime mobilized a large sum of money to urgently build secret concentration camps, dedicated to detaining Falun Gong practitioners, and ordered that no detainees could be released once detained there. The information obtained recently shows that the crimes of harvesting organs from healthy, living Falun Gong practitioners and selling their organs for profit before cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence, occurred on a large-scale in secret concentration camps. According to the witnesses, the secret Sujiatun Concentration Camp once held 6,000 Falun Gong practitioners, but two thirds of them have been murdered.

After the witness revealed the criminal acts in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, the CCP spent three weeks disposing of eyewitnesses and covering up the scene of the crime, and then welcomed the international community to investigate. At the same time, Falun Gong practitioners have learned that there are at least 36 concentration camps similar to the secret concentration camp in Sujiatun. But recently, under the orders of the diehard followers of Jiang and Luo's regime, the Falun Gong practitioners in these secret concentration camps have been urgently transferred to forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and related facilities to continue being detained. These forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals coordinated together, and the detained Falun Gong practitioners who are used as "live organ suppliers" are facing the threat of having their organs removed while they are still alive and their bodies cremated to destroy the evidence at any time. Therefore, overseas Falun Gong practitioners urgently established the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong, urging the CCP to immediately open all forced labor camps, prisons, detention centers, hospitals and other related facilities for the international community to investigate.

Falun Gong practitioners believe that if the CCP cannot immediately open all forced labor camps, prisons and other related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are detained, prior to July 1, when the so-called law against organ harvesting takes effect, and even earlier, the CCP will once again destroy the evidence and then invite investigations from the international community. What is even more serious is that if the international community cannot take effective, timely action to stop the crimes, more Falun Gong practitioners who firmly believe in "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance," honest, kind and good people, will die horrible deaths under the knives of the Jiang regime's doctors. Therefore, the chairman of the CIPFG, Dr. Zhao Zhangji, urgently called upon the international community to support the CIPFG, and together with Falun Gong practitioners, conduct investigations, stop the killing and stop the brutal persecution that has lasted for nearly seven years.

Dr. Terri Marsh heads a not-for-profit coalition of lawyers from around the world prosecuting CCP officials for their crimes against Falun Gong. As lead counsel in a lawsuit against former Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, Dr. Marsh condemned the genocidal killing taking place in forced labor camps and detention centers across China. She underscored the urgency of the situation, pointing out that a mass slaughter is underway right now. She cited details mentioned in a witness's testimony. The witness was a main surgeon in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp. He wrote in his diary, "The patient (Falun Gong practitioner) was administered anesthesia, lying on the operation table. When using scissors to cut open her clothes, a small box dropped out. Inside the box were a Falun badge and a small card. The words on the card were, 'Mom, Happy Birthday.'" The doctor suffered extreme mental anguish day and night for participating in these criminal acts.

Renowned tenor Guan Guimin was invited to the rally to make a speech and sing a song. In his speech, he pointed out that everyone's acts will leave a record in the cosmos, Gods are watching everyone's actions. In the face of money and profits, everyone will place their conscience and morality. One's future will be written by their choices made today.

Representative of persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in China Mu Xiangjie recounts her personal experience

Representative of the persecuted Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China, Tianjin practitioner Ms. Mu Xiangjie, who was recently arranged to come to the US by the United Nations, spoke to the audience, choking with sobs. Two years ago, after she escaped from China, she had lost the ability to speak. In the past two years, she resumed her ability to speak by persisting in practicing Falun Gong. Today, she could step forward to expose the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps, and she felt very fortunate. While being illegally detained in China, she was subjected to the persecution that is taken as "quite common" in these forced labor camps, such as brainwashing, sleep deprivation for many days, and being handcuffed and shocked with electric batons. She once witnessed a woman practitioner being carried into the forced labor camp while being wrapped in a quilt. Later, this practitioner was tortured to death in the forced labor camp.

Ms. Mu Xiangjie pointed out there are still many more Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering torture and abuse in forced labor camps. The CCP commits heinous acts beyond people's imagination, and she requested the international community to proactively conduct investigations.

The SOS Van Tour organized by "The Global Coalition to Rescue Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners" successively arrived in Washington DC. Participants are Falun Gong practitioners from St. Louis, Chicago, Dallas, Toronto, Boston and other areas in North America. A representative of the participants, Ms. Mao, stated that the CCP's killing of Falun Gong practitioners has been far more than an issue of persecution of belief and human rights: it tests everyone's soul, and urgently requires everyone and every government to make a choice between profit and conscience. This choice will ultimately determine the destiny of everyone and every government.

"Coalition to Investigate the Persecution" Investigator's Visa Application to China Rejected

A member of the first team of investigators from the "Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG) applied for a visa to China at the Chinese Consulate in Sydney, Australia. The application was rejected.

At about 10:00 a.m. (local time in Australia) on April 19, 2006, Sound of Hope radio reporter Linda Xu went to the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney to submit her application for an entry visa to China.

An Australian-passport holder, Ms. Xu was told a consular official that reporters needed to have an invitation from the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs if they were to enter China.

Linda Xu explained that as a reporter for Sound of Hope radio, she hoped to enter China together with other representatives of the CIPFG to conduct an independent investigation into forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and other facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are detained. Qin Gang, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, invited members of the media at a press conference on March 28.

When the official heard that she wanted to enter China to investigate the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong, she immediately said, "Then you go to find Qin Gang yourself for the invitation!"

Linda Xu continued to explain, saying, "I'm a reporter, and should have the right to apply for a visa. You should accept my application materials."

The official repeated, "It's impossible, impossible..." while pushing away the materials Linda Xu submitted.

At this time, many people in the visa application hall turned their attention to their conversation. In the face of a crowd of people who looked puzzled, Linda Xu explained, "I'm a reporter, because the Chinese Foreign Ministry has expressed to invite overseas reporters to come to mainland China to investigate the situation of concentration camps where Falun Gong practitioners have been detained, today, I come here to apply for a visa, preparing to join a team of investigators to go to China to investigate all forced labor camps, prisons and other facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are illegally detained, but they are unreasonably rejecting my visa application..."

Someone in the consulate called the federal police who were not clear about the situation. They escorted Linda Xu and her companion outside the visa application hall.

After Linda Xu explained to the federal police her identity and purpose of applying for a visa, the police officers realized what was going on. They expressed, "You are a reporter! That is completely different from what they (consulate staff) said."

On April 18, one day prior to going to the Chinese Consulate, Linda Xu visited a Member of Parliament in Sydney, and explained about her plan to go to China to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong. The MP said, "Good luck!" and expressed that once Linda Xu successfully obtains the visa, the provincial parliament will issue a letter to express their support, and urge the Chinese authorities to guarantee the Australian citizen's security.

While Linda Xu went to apply for a visa, the CIPFG held a press conference in front of the Chinese Consulate General in Sydney announcing the purpose of the CIPFG and that the first team of investigators has begun applying for visas to prepare to enter China.

Australia SDS radio station and other media interviewed spokesperson for the CIPFG Sherry Zhang.

CIPFG Holds Press Conference, Demands Complete Investigation of All Forced Labor Camps

On April 18, 2006, "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG) held a press conference at the National Press Club in Washington DC, demanding a complete investigation into all forced labor camps, prisons, detention centers, custody centers, hospitals, mental hospitals, and related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners have been incarcerated in the past seven years. The CIPFG also invited international organizations and governments to join in this independent investigative organization to work together to conduct a truly thorough investigation into the CCP's crimes.

Demanding the CCP to immediately open all forced labor camps, prisons and related facilities for international investigation

Chairman of the CIPFG states organization's intention to conduct a complete investigation into the CCP's crimes

The recently-formed CIPFG, led by the Falun Dafa Association and Falun Gong's Minghui/Clearwisdom website, plans to complete all investigations into every forced labor camp, prison, detention center, custody center and hospital where Falun Gong practitioners are detained prior to July 1 when the CCP's law on live organ harvesting takes effect. CIPFG therefore demands immediate access to all these facilities, and permission for the team of international investigators to conduct an independent, direct investigation and evidence collection without interference. The CIPFG invites human rights organizations, people from legal circles, governments and organizations to join the investigation team to conduct the investigation together.

Chairman of CIPFG Zhao Zhangji said, "In the past seven years, we have collected a large number of materials about the persecution, including witnesses and evidence providers." The CIPFG has officially submitted a written application for a complete investigation.

Zhao Zhangji assured that this will be a complete and thorough investigation. Once the investigation has been completed, the CIPFG will announce the results to the public.

Zhao Zhangji said that over the past seven years, Falun Gong practitioners have conducted peaceful activities, including collecting signatures, holding parades, anti-torture exhibits, trips on foot, bicycle tours and car parades, to persistently appeal to the international community and to raise people's awareness of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China.

The World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG) makes public investigation recordings

Representative of the WOIPFG makes public investigation recordings

The WOIPFG made public at the press conference recordings of the investigations of over six hospitals, including Central Hospital in Tianjin City, Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai, Qianfoshan Liver Transplant Center in Shandong Province, Affiliated Hospital of Jiaotong University in Shanghai, No. 2 Affiliated Hospital of Hubei Province Medical University, and Tongji Hospital in Wuhan City.

From the recording, doctors and staff who were being questioned could clearly be heard admitting straightforwardly that they use Falun Gong practitioners' organs for transplant surgeries. Some even said that all organs are from Falun Gong practitioners. The following is the transcript of a recording of a dialogue between the investigator and a doctor at the Zhongshan Hospital affiliated with Fudan University in Shanghai:

Investigator: You are not going to give me a kidney from a dead person, are you?

Doctor: Of course we will give you a good kidney, why would we give you a bad one?
Investigator: ...Do you have the ones from people who practice Falun Gong?

Doctor: Everything that we have here are of this kind.

(For more investigation recording, please see also http://www.zhuichaguoji.org/cn/index2.php?option=content&task=view&id=699&pop=1&page=0)

WOIPFG said they have prepared more evidence for the international judicial organizations to investigate.

WOIPFG has confirmed through its investigations that many military/armed police hospitals and transplant centers in China are suspected of involvement in harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners and using these organs for transplants.

After the Sujiatun Concentration Camp was exposed on March 9, some hospitals in Northeast China that were investigated stated that they received a notice to temporarily stop performing organ transplant surgeries. Following the Ministry of Health's "Interim Regulation for Human Organ Transplant Practice" published on March 27 that will take effect on July 1, hospitals and major transplant centers in China not only resumed their operations, but are also performing an increasing number of organ transplants.

Many hospitals in China stated that ample organ supplies are available in April and May, after which it will be difficult to obtain an organ. This shows the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) is slaughtering Falun Gong practitioners who serve as organ suppliers. The fact that these cases emerge from many provinces, cities and autonomous regions shows they are only a part of the genocide directed by the CCP Central Committee.

Witness's painful presentation of harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners

Chief editor of The Epoch Times Ms. Guo Jun played a video that revealed some particular testimony about the live organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in the Sujiatun area.

Video: Witness painfully gives testimony of live organ harvest from Falun Gong practitioners (English subtitle)

The witness said, "It is agonizing to recall the past. The organs harvested from a living human being fetch a much higher price than from a dead body. After the organ removal, many Falun Gong practitioners were still alive and breathing, but some of their bodies were directly thrown into the crematory. No trace of their bodies is left. Sometimes the surgeons would stitch the openings and ask their families or representatives of their families to sign the agreement for the bodies to be cremated. Some families had no idea the organs had been removed. Moreover, some practitioners transferred from prisons were very healthy. But they were injected with psychiatric drugs that severely damaged their central nervous system. Then they were transferred to Sujiatun Concentration Camp for additional torture until their organs were removed and their bodies were cremated."

The female witness also revealed one entry in her ex-husband's diary, "The patient (Falun Gong practitioner) was administered anesthesia, lying on the operating table. When using scissors to cut open her clothes, a small box dropped out. Inside the box were a Falun badge and a small card. The words on the card were, 'Mom, Happy Birthday.'" The female witness said her ex-husband was completely devastated.

Seattle, U.S.A.: Falun Gong Parade and Rally to Demand Investigation of the CCP's Forced Labor Camps

On the morning of April 17, 2006, prior to the visit of the head of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) on Tuesday, Falun Gong practitioners held a parade and rally in Seattle to display the beauty of Falun Dafa and to expose the CCP's brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners over the past seven years. At the same time, the practitioners requested the American Government and people to support and join in the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG), to go to China to investigate the atrocities disclosed recently by the media about the CCP harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs and cremating their murdered bodies to destroy the evidence in forced labor camps and prisons.

Exposing the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps

    Parade procession

    Parade procession

Participants in the parade were Falun Gong practitioners from many areas including Seattle, Portland, San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego and Vancouver. In the procession, there were elderly people and children. Everyone was solemn and respectful. The parade started from Chinatown, marching along Fourth Avenue to Westlake Center in the city center.

The parade's organizer said that the local police had initially only agreed for the practitioners to walk on the sidewalk, but when they saw that the number of people coming for the parade far exceeded what they had estimated, they temporarily agreed to close up the streets for their parade. In addition, many local media outlets came to cover the event.

During the parade, Falun Gong practitioners held banners reading, "Bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to Justice," "Demand to Let the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong to Go to China's Forced Labor Camps to Investigate the Facts," "Strongly Condemn the Atrocities of Live Organ Harvests from Falun Gong Practitioners in China's Forced Labor Camps," and "Urgently Call for an End to the CCP's Nazi-like Atrocities," and other signs.

The parade attracted a lot of passersby to stop and watch. Many spectators expressed their admiration after learning about the aim of the parade, and expressed their sympathy for the Falun Gong practitioners who have been suffering persecution in China. The existence of the CCP's forced labor camps troubled them, and they hoped to stop the persecution.

A Seattle citizen expresses his disapproval of Hu Jintao's visit because of the persecution

Chris, a Seattle resident, said, "The persecution of Falun Gong is too evil and shocking. I'm unable to imagine that there can be such an anti-humanity persecution, and their leader even can freely come to America, and be welcomed. It is too amazing."

Chris continued, with tears welling in his eyes, "I'm really very sad. I'll pass the truth clarification materials to my colleagues, and contact my representatives in Congress. We really need to do something."

When mentioning the coming visit of the leader of the CCP, Hu Jintao, Chris said, "He is not welcome in America. There is such an atrocity [in China], but it seems like nothing has happened. No, he is not welcome." Chris said, "I welcome you to come to visit my home, but not Hu Jintao."

He also signed the petition for himself and on behalf of his whole family.

Seattle resident Doris said, "It's obvious that people in America have freedom of speech. Not until the end of the war [WWII] did I know of the existence of the Nazi's concentration camps. For all people, it's terrible to lock up people in concentration camps. Maybe many of us still haven't learned about the things happening in China." Doris said, "The parade is great, making the truth known to the public."

Spectator Amy said, "I want to know more, so as to take some action to disintegrate the CCP. I knew nothing before, and the parade helped me to learn about the persecution for the first time."

On the afternoon of April 17, several Falun Gong practitioners from the Pacific Northwest, the CIPFG, Amnesty International Seattle Branch, the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP and China Democratic Union and other groups held a rally at Westlake Center. Regarding the CCP's outrageous atrocities of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs and cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence, they called on America and kind people and groups throughout the world to support and join the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong to go to China to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in all forced labor camps and prisons. At the same time, the rally supported the great deeds of 10 million Chinese people who have withdrawn from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

CIPFG representative Li Ying: It's very important to conduct a comprehensive investigation of the CCP's forced labor camps

    CIPFG representative Li Ying

A representative of "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong," Dr. Li Ying made a speech at the rally. She pointed out that several witnesses have testified to the atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in the CCP's concentration camps, forced labor camps, and other related facilities. Initial investigation has also confirmed their testimony. Three weeks after the revelation of this Nazi-like crime, the CCP broke their silence and publicly denied the charge. Actually, the CCP needed time to arrange, according to its habitual tricks, to destroy and transfer evidence, and then like a thief crying, "Stop thief," the CCP invited international organizations to visit in an attempt to avoid the condemnation and pressure from the international community.

Li Ying said that recalling the CCP's history of lies over the past dozens of years, it was heard that US investigators visited Sujiatun in the company of the CCP, and no evidence was found. It is not surprising. Li Ying said, "The so-called investigation and visit, manipulated and controlled by the CCP, will definitely not achieve any substantial results. This reflects that it is very important and necessary to establish a completely independent international investigation group, to conduct a comprehensive and thorough investigation on all forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and other related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are detained."

According to Li Ying's introduction, the CIPFG hold such a principle: invite the international human rights organizations, the media, governments and individuals to join in the CIPFG, especially during the head of CCP leader Hu Jintao's upcoming visit. The CIPFG will call on the Washington State Governor and President George Bush to urge Hu to open all forced labor camps, prisons and hospitals and other related facilities where Falun Gong practitioners are detained, to accept the investigation of the international community. At the same time, they ask the Governor and the President to require Hu to secure the investigators a smooth entry into China and to guarantee their safety.

Li Ying said, "If the CCP sincerely wants to investigate these atrocities, at least it should allow the investigation group to enter China."

Seattle practitioner David: It's time for us to put into practice our pledge made 60 years ago

Seattle Falun Gong practitioner David said, "Sixty years ago, when the Allied troops found the Nazi concentration camps, the international community made the solemn pledge, "Never Again." There should never have occurred such an inhuman holocaust. But the tragedy is happening again. This time, it is in China. It is happening to those Falun Gong practitioners who practice Chinese traditional cultivation.

"Last month, the media reported and the witnesses revealed that there are at least 36 concentration camps in China. The largest concentration camp can hold 120,000 people. These concentration camps are used to detain Falun Gong practitioners, and harvest their organs while they are still alive and finally cremate their murdered bodies to destroy the evidence. The news is appalling, but consistent with the CCP's policy of brutal persecution of Falun Gong.

"We call on Seattle and the American Government not to only consider economics, trade, and advanced technology, but to use conscience to pay attention to the brutal persecution happening in China. We are talking about rescuing people's lives. We call on all governments to join in the investigation of the tragedies taking place in the CCP's concentration camps. We demand Hu Jintao to immediately stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

"Today, it's time for us to put into practice the pledge we made 60 years ago. We call on the American President, American Government and the international community to keep our promise and not allow it to happen again!"

American doctor: The doctors participating in the persecution in the CCP's concentration camps have violated doctors' professional ethics

Dr. Alejandro Centurion from California condemned the CCP's atrocities of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners in the concentration camps. He called on the medical circle in America, government officials and the American people to stand up to stop the CCP's Nazi-like atrocities.

Dr. Centurion said, "Actually, illegal organ harvesting has been practiced for many years in China. In the 90s, the CCP was extensively condemned by the international community and governments for removing organs from executed prisoners. In 2001, the US Congress listened to a Chinese doctor's testimony, who testified that the CCP harvested organs from executed prisoners. But today, the CCP is still performing such barbaric acts, as shown in the revelation of Sujiatun and 36 more similar concentration camps across China. Such an extent of the persecution is beyond anyone's imagination."

Dr. Centurion said, "The incident of the CCP's concentration camps arouses my serious concern and that of other medical staff, because such a crime has involved doctors and nurses. They should have healed the wounded and rescued the dying, but now they are active in participating in the biggest crime against humanity. All this is the consequence of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong."

Huo Mingxue from the China Democratic Union: Break through the darkness before dawn

Huo Mingxue from the China Democratic Union

Huo Mingxue from the China Democratic Union spoke at the rally. "The appalling revelation of the CCP's secret concentration camps shocked the world. The CCP regime has used the Nazi's brutal methods in Auschwitz Concentration Camp, covertly detaining Falun Gong practitioners, torturing them to death, and even harvesting their organs while they are still alive. Such inhuman barbarity, adds one more mountain-like bloody debt for us to record and punish the CCP for its monstrous atrocities.

"The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party published by The Epoch Times newspaper has inspired an upsurge in people quitting the CCP.

"With its desperate mindset, the CCP frenziedly carries out a mass killing to destroy the evidence of their atrocities. It has transferred all practitioners detained in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp to other places.

"The CCP regime's collapse is imminent. Our resistance to the CCP tyranny becomes even more difficult, and there will be sacrifice. But it is the darkness before the dawn. Let's keep it up, what greets us will be the glorious dawn of triumph."

Gao Dawei: Ten million brave people are true heroes deserving of the world's attention

Gao Dawei of the Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP said, "Falun Gong practitioners from North America, and volunteers from The Global Service Center for Quitting the CCP and The Epoch Times and other righteous groups have gathered in Seattle to express their concern to the kind people of Seattle and all American people.

"The commercial delegation dispatched by the CCP will come to Seattle soon. I want to remind the American people, behind each head of the CCP, behind each of their smiling faces, is hidden the blood of millions of murdered Chinese people, and the blood debts of Falun Gong practitioners who have been tortured to death.

"When shaking hands and talking with the head of the CCP, please do not forget its crimes committed against Chinese citizens in the past dozens of years. Today, it is still going on. Under the CCP's rule, there is a wide gap between the rich and the poor. The funds invested to China from around the world have focused on only several million corrupt Chinese officials, which leads to the extreme disparity between the rich and the poor. Over a hundred million children can't afford go to school, and over a hundred million workers do not have enough food.

"We call on the American government, in the face of the CCP's monstrous crimes in the past dozens of years, the Chinese people have woken up. They have broken away from the vile CCP in a peaceful and non-violent and most effective way, that is, through spreading the Nine Commentaries, and withdrawing from the CCP and its affiliated evil organizations. As of today, the number of brave people who have broken away from the CCP has reached 10 million.

"After the revelation of the CCP's atrocities of stealing Falun Gong practitioners' organs, more and more Chinese people have sent us their statements to announce their withdrawal from the CCP. The statements are increasing daily. These people are true heroes who deserve the world's attention.

"I call on all Chinese people to pull yourselves up, joining the 10 million Chinese compatriots who have awakened, and melting into the spiritual awakening, the grand tide that dares to break away from the CCP. Let's put our hands together to greet a new China, without killing, without blood, without persecution, that is democratic and prosperous."

Coordinator of Amnesty International Seattle Branch Laura Neuchterlein: Call for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong

Coordinator of Amnesty International Seattle Branch Laura Neuchterlein

Laura Neuchterlein, coordinator of Amnesty International Seattle Branch, gave a speech. "Amnesty International calls for an investigation of the atrocities of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs and cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence in the CCP's concentration camps and forced labor camps, and calls for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong.

"Here I'd like to talk about the attitude of Amnesty International regarding the human rights abuses in China. Since 1961, Amnesty International has paid attention to the human rights issue. For a long time, the CCP has refused to grant people freedom of speech, freedom of association, and freedom of belief. The number of prisoners that the CCP detained and has executed exceeds the rest of the world's total. It is commonplace that the CCP tortures prisoners, which often results in their death. The CCP adopts the persecution policy against the people."

Falun Gong practitioner Li Bin: Investigation of the truth is a must for the world's people

Falun Gong practitioner Li Bin who has suffered persecution in mainland China used her personal experience to condemn the CCP's persecution. Since July 20, 1999, the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has never lessened. The recent revelation of the CCP's concentration camps is even more beyond people's imagination.

Li Bin said, "I once suffered devastating torture in the mainland for practicing Falun Gong. I was once sent to a mental hospital and a forced labor camp. Spiritual torment almost put me on the brink of collapse. Five of my acquaintances were subjected to persecution and all have died as a result of the persecution.

"Many of my friends have been sentenced to forced labor camp and prison, some have been fired from their jobs, some were threatened and harassed by the police, and countless have been sent to brainwashing classes.

"Regarding the CCP's atrocities of harvesting Falun Gong practitioners' organs and selling them for profit and then cremating their bodies to destroy the evidence in concentration camps, I hope the international community can assist the CIPFG in conducting investigations, because this is not only the concern of the Chinese people but that of the whole world."

  • Taiwan: Falun Gong Practitioners Call on President Bush to Help Investigate Forced Labor Camps in China

Director of the Taiwan Falun Dafa Association Professor, Chang Ching-Hsi went to the Taipei Office of the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) on the afternoon of April 17, 2006 to deliver an appeal letter to the director of the AIT, Mr. Stephen M. Young. Dafa practitioners hope that Mr. Young will convey the request to President George Bush to demand that the Chinese Communist Party stop stealing and selling Falun Gong practitioners' organs, and allow the international community to conduct a comprehensive investigation of all forced labor camps in China where Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally incarcerated.

Several media outlets from Taiwan inquire about Professor Chang Ching-hsi's appeal to the AIT

The appeal letter urgently calls on President Bush, during Chinese leader Hu Jintao's upcoming visit, to bring up the situation of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners and selling them for profit, which is happening throughout the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) forced labor camps. Practitioners are asking President Bush to urge the CCP to immediately stop such inhuman and evil deeds, and allow entry to the Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China (CIPFG) formed by Falun Gong and other groups, to conduct a comprehensive investigation.

Chang Ching-hsi expressed that in early March, it was disclosed that the CCP has built a concentration camp to detain thousands of Falun Gong practitioners since 2001. The practitioners have had their organs harvested and sold for profit, and their murdered bodies are then cremated to destroy the evidence. Three weeks later, the CCP publicly denied the incident, but from inside information, it has been learned that all detainees in the Sujiatun Concentration Camp have been transferred and the camp is now empty. Reporters from the Sound of Hope radio station made phone calls to hospitals in different places across China; all doctors who were interviewed said that there would be a large number of organs for transplant before May 1. In one to two days, they would be able to find an organ match for the prospective patient. The doctors take turns doing transplant surgeries. From the large numbers of surgeries performed, it can be seen that there must be a large bank of live organs [to make these surgeries possible].

Several Falun Gong practitioners held banners and posters outside the AIT and distributed flyers to passersby to call for an end to the CCP's atrocities.

Moscow, Russia: Exposing the CCP's Crimes

For the past few days, in order to call on the international community to stop the massacre of Falun Gong practitioners in China, practitioners from Moscow delivered appeal letters to President Putin and clarified the facts with relevant government departments and politicians. They hope the Russian Government will make the right decision to stand by Falun Gong and support the international community in their effort to investigate the persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

In order to let more people in Moscow know about the atrocities taking place in China, the local Falun Gong practitioners put up a display on April 15 in Moscow. The purpose was to expose the brutal killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China since 1999, and the illegal harvesting of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

An elderly man walked by the display. After looking at the banners and display boards, he sighed and remarked, "Where there is Communism, there would be this sort of slaughter!" He asked the practitioners, "What's your goal?" A practitioner answered, "We want to expose the crimes of the CCP to the world and call on the international community to investigate and put an end to this genocide." The old man replied, "You are doing the right thing!"

A young man was rather shocked after talking to practitioners and said, "Why have our newspapers and radios not reported such important news?" He was apparently unhappy about the silence of the media.

To help the Chinese people in Moscow know about the genocide and the evil nature of the CCP, local practitioners placed a large amount of truth-clarification materials at places where Chinese people gathered. Most of the Chinese people were astounded to learn about the truth of the persecution and the illegal organ harvesting. It was apparent that they were all shaken by the information.

Every Tuesday and Friday, international trains leave Moscow for Beijing. The local train station has become an important spot for Falun Gong practitioners to clarify the truth to the Chinese people. There are passengers and their relatives and friends, and even people from the Chinese Embassy. They all willingly accepted our materials.

Last Friday, on April 7, several practitioners went to the train station to give out information on the persecution. The people at the station came up to practitioners voluntarily to ask for the materials. Even the train staff who used to not take our materials are now happy to accept our information. A delegation from Korea was there. A practitioner who spoke Korean went up to them and told them about the genocide in China. These Korean people were all shocked and accepted the informational materials in Russian.

Slovakian TV Exposes the Lies behind the Chinese Regime's Denial of the Existence of Concentration Camps

On April 12th 2006, the Chairman of the Slovak Falun Gong Association was invited to appear on the "World Today" program on Slovak TV station TA3. For about five minutes of the interview, Mr. Tatarko exposed the truth behind the removal of internal organs from Falun Gong practitioners, which is currently taking place in labor camps in China. He also talked about the history of the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The TV program was organized as a reaction to denials of the existence of concentrations camps by the Chinese Communist regime.

Station TA3 covers the whole of Slovakia; in most places it is available via cable, in some locations terrestrially.

    Transcript of the interview:

Reporter: What evidence is there that in China Falun Gong practitioners are brutally tortured, had their organs removed and are there concrete allegations from specific persons?

Tatarko: Of course, there are allegations from three witnesses, which speak about the same situation in several concentration camps. One of them is a reporter of a Japanese TV station, who revealed that people were detained in secret concentration camps; their organs are harvested for sale to people in Japan or abroad.

R: Secretly with regard to the people outside of the camps. Of course, the people who receive the organs must know something about this... Is this done in a brutal way, are they Falun Gong practitioners forced to do so and give their organs?

T: They don't even ask the Falun Gong practitioners. The communist party has a law, which enables them to treat people, which it regards as "class enemies" as a raw material. So it claimed the people practicing Falun Gong as its possessions, which can be treated according to the party's will, which means they the party can arbitrarily remove their organs.

R: If it is the truth, it would be unbelievable. Falun Gong was tolerated by the Chinese Communist regime until the end of the 90s. What happened by then?

T: It is indeed so. Falun Gong was supported by the Chinese government until 1999. At the beginning as it found its popularity it eventually overtook the popularity of the communist party, [the communist party] started to suppress it in a quiet way. As the people practicing Falun Gong started to oppose this persecution by peaceful appeals in different cities, [the party] started to intervene in a brutal way. One of these appeals took place in Zhongnanhai, a well known street in Beijing, where by chance the office for the appeals and government offices are situated. This appeal was considered by the Chinese Communist regime as an attack on their regime and soon afterwards they started the official persecution of Falun Gong.

R: On the screen we see exercises performed by Falun Gong practitioners. How many are there in the world and say, in Slovakia, practitioners doing these exercises, this practice?

T: In the world there are about 100 million of them, which is the number from the Chinese communist party, which counted them before the persecution. It was so to say, "terrified" by this number and it started to persecute them. In Slovakia there are many people practicing Falun Gong. In different countries it varies; I would say the most of them [except China] are in North America, where there are about 10,000 practitioners.

R: In Slovakia you have many practitioners, how do you keep contact, how do you get information from people practicing Falun Gong?

T: There exists international web pages, where we get the latest information regarding Falun Gong itself, its persecution in China, and where people share their experiences of practicing of Falun Gong.

R: I wish we had more time for this subject, but today we will not manage it, let's see if we can manage it in the future. Thank you for your visit to our television studio.

    T: Thank you.

  • The French People Request the International Community to Pay Close Attention to the Chinese Communist Party's Savage Acts (Photo)

On April 15, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners in France held an event to solicit signatures in the 13th District of Paris (Chinatown) to expose the secret killing of Falun Gong practitioners in China's labor camps and prisons after practitioners' organs were harvested while they were still alive and their bodies were cremated to eliminate the evidence. They also pointed out the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) scoundrel behavior of hurrying to remove the witnesses and material evidence after the crime was exposed last month, in order to deceive the people of the world. Practitioners demanded that the CCP open up all labor camps and prisons which have detained Falun Gong practitioners immediately, to be investigated by international organizations and allow "The Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China" (CIPFG) to go to China to investigate the crimes. They also called upon the international community to pay close attention to and stop the bloody persecution of Falun Gong by the CCP regime.

A representative of the Falun Gong practitioners read out the announcement about the CIPFG being initiated by the Falun Dafa Association and Minghui.net (the Chinese version of Clearwisdom) and invited related international organizations, state organs and media to form a joint investigation group. The coalition also demanded that the investigation and collection of evidence in the mainland be independent, direct, and not be subject to intervention by the CCP. The coalition will conduct a comprehensive investigation of the truth of the persecution of Falun Gong in secret concentration camps. Many French people signed their names to express support after learning about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and the secret concentration camps.

French practitioners hold an event in Paris to solicit signatures to protest the CCP's savage acts

A French woman told the reporter, "I think that it is very important to collect signatures. It can allow western people to realize what is happening in China. The human rights status in China is still poor. We must join hands to engage in the struggle. We French people support the Chinese people. I also hope that our politicians can pay more attention to the human rights issue in China while they engage in business transactions with the CCP."

Another French person said, "First, I do not think the CCP should persecute belief. Every one has a freedom of thought and of engaging in whatever activity they want to do. I think the western society should pay attention to what is happening in China, and make the CCP government change their attitude toward Falun Gong though diplomatic means."

Another French woman was strongly discontented with the CCP's attempts to export the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to France. She said, "Falun Gong is peaceful, yet it suffered cruel persecution in China, and was not allowed by the authorities. Last year when the Chinese leader visited France, the French police rudely interrogated Falun Gong practitioners on the Champs-Elysees Avenue, which was really intolerable. It was surprising that the French government adopted an unfriendly attitude toward Falun Gong because it yielded to the CCP for economic benefits."

A Vietnamese person who had gone through the brutal persecution by the Communist Party in his home country had tears in his eyes after hearing the truth of the persecution in China, told to him by Falun Gong practitioners.

Falun Gong practitioners also read the investigative report by the "World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong in China," about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong as well as the testimony of many witnesses, exposing the CCP's crime of taking organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for sale for transplants and cremating their bodies to eliminate the evidence.

United Kingdom: Appealing in Front of the Prime Minister's Office for an Investigation into the CCP's Labor Camps

On April 11-15, 2006, several Falun Gong practitioners in London held activities in front of the Prime Mister's office on Downing Street. They distributed truth clarification leaflets to passersby, collected signatures, and disclosed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) almost seven-year-long genocidal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners especially exposed the CCP's atrocities of removing organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit in forced labor camps and concentration camps and then cremating their bodies to eliminate the evidences. They called on the UK Government and the international community to pay attention to this situation and to launch an investigation into the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners, in order to stop its current attempt to destroy witnesses. Finally, they called for the rescue of Falun Gong practitioners who are still surviving in forced labor camps in China.

Appeal in front of the Prime Minister's office

A practitioner said, "As the weather on the first day of our activities was not good, we felt very oppressed. However, as the activities proceeded, with more and more people working on Downing Street and passersby coming to know about the CCP's atrocity and the persecution happening right now in China, the weather got getting better and better. Among those people who were in a hurry, many did not accept leaflets when passing by the first, then the second practitioners, but they slowed their steps and accepted leaflets distributed by the third practitioner. Lots of people, who accepted truth clarification leaflets on the first day, took the initiative to sign the petition when they passed by again the next day. Many police officers who were on duty on Downing Street also read the truth clarification leaflets. Some of them were carefully reading them for a long time, and some came over and said 'hello' to the practitioners when they were on duty the next day."

After hearing about the wicked actions of the CCP in the illegal harvest of organs and cremating practitioners' bodies, a middle-aged English man said that he knows the condition of human rights in China and about the persecution that has been taking place in China. He said, "If any persecution happens in other countries, some witnesses are bound to stand out. But in China, never before have witnesses stood up, because they have been killed." He expressed his agreement with practitioners: "If the whole world knows the real situation of human rights in China, in no way can the CCP's persecution continue."

A middle-aged woman, a teacher, asked for over ten leaflets. She said that she was going to arrange a class for her students (18 and 19 years old) to discuss human rights, and the persecution of Falun Gong happening in China was a good example of human rights abuse.

Another Western woman told practitioners that she herself was going to write letters to her MPs, calling on them to pay attention to the CCP's atrocities. She asked practitioners, "Are you going to continue opposing the CCP until the persecution ends?" On hearing the affirmative reply from the practitioners, she was pleased and wished them good luck.

After hearing the facts of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, a white-collar worker in his fifties said, "What you are doing here is to let people know what is happening in China." Then he asked, "Do you feel that you are safe here in the UK?" The practitioner answered, "I am safe here. However, although I am in the UK, I have received several phones calls from mainland China annoying and threatening us. They made calls to my home during New Year and Chinese New Year." The man was shocked at the fact that the CCP even disturbs overseas Falun Gong practitioners.

While talking about the CCP harvesting organs for profit from living Falun Gong practitioners in forced labor camps, including Sujiatun Concentration Camp, and Falun Gong practitioners throughout the world calling on the international community to make an investigation in order to stop these atrocities, the man said, "It would put the investigation forward if you have documented evidence." The practitioner explained, "The persecution happening right now in China is not just one person committing crimes, but the whole CCP regime is committing crimes systematically. They are hiding evidence and destroying evidence as well. The situation is special. If the CCP really wants to show that it is blameless, it should allow an outside organization to investigate all forced labor camps - not one or two faked scenes just for 'show,' where the real evidence has already been destroyed."

Turkey: Falun Gong Practitioners Further Expose the CCP's Atrocities

After continuously exposing the CCP's atrocities of harvesting organs from live Falun Gong practitioners in labor camps and concentration camps in China for the last few days, on the April 15, 2006, many Falun Gong practitioners from Mersin and Istanbul gathered at the famous Baris Meydani in the Mersin City Center to mourn the fellow practitioners in Mainland China who have died as a result of persecution. Practitioners continued to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP's) barbaric crimes, and further called on the Turkish government and the international community to immediately help stop the CCP's killing of Falun Gong practitioners, and to urgently rescue Falun Gong practitioners who are suffering the genocidal persecution in China.

Demonstrating the Falun Gong exercises and exposing the persecution

On the broad Baris Meydani near the seaside, many local citizens came for a leisurely walk and many tourists came for sightseeing. Some practitioners demonstrated the elegant Falun Gong exercises to the peaceful exercise music while other practitioners handed out truth-clarification leaflets. Some practitioners talked to people who wanted to learn further about the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, and talked about the CCP's large-scale killing of Falun Gong practitioners and harvesting their organs for sale and cremating their remains to destroy the evidence of the crimes. Practitioners displayed many big pictures about the truth of the persecution, including banners written in both Chinese and Turkish, which attracted many passers-by to stop and read. After reading about or listening to the truth, they were shocked by the CCP's appalling crimes. People could not help but shake their heads and sigh. Some could not believe or were not willing to believe that this is really happening. Apart from the astonishment, almost all the people expressed their condemnation and indignation against the CCP's brutal conduct.

People carefully read the truth-clarification information

Having understood the truth, people are shocked by the CCP's appalling crimes

A tourist from another province expressed that the CCP is simply too horrible. The tourist said that we should appeal to all just governments and people to stop the CCP's crimes.

Having carefully read the truth-clarification leaflet, a retired teacher over sixty years old said to the practitioners that everybody knows of the CCP's brutal nature. The CCP is so tyrannical and is conducting such a brutal killing of its own people. Its end will definitely be more miserable than any other former communist party country which has already collapsed; it will be forever held in disdain by all the world's people.

A university student with a visual impairment earnestly and carefully listened to the practitioners' explanations about each of the truth-clarification pictures, then tightly grasped a practitioner's hands and said, "In the 21st century nowadays, there is this kind of crime of harvesting organs from living people. It is not only the sadness of China, but also the shame of the whole of humanity. It is in defiance of human morality and conscience. You should certainly persist in your effort; all people of justice will stand on your side and support you."

Some people stood in front of the pictures for a long time and were not willing to leave. From their expressions, one could easily tell that their inner hearts were extremely shocked. A gentleman who looked like a government official came up to a Chinese practitioner and said with a dignified expression and with concern, "You have nothing to be afraid of, Turkey is a free and democratic country. The government and people here can understand and support you."

A Turkish practitioner clarifies the truth to police officers and plainclothes police officers

A few police officers on duty on the square were all indignant after learning the facts of the Chinese Communist police's inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Many times they wanted to express their condemnation but hesitated because of the nature of their occupation. However, finally a policeman could not bear it and said that the conduct of the Chinese police is simply not understandable.

The practitioners' activity lasted for two continuous days. It drew some local media's attention on the first day. Dogan, the biggest news media outlet in Turkey, made a special trip to the event and conducted a long interview about this activity.
