1. Wu Jing from Baishan City, Jilin Province

Wu Jing, 35, was an employee of Hunjiang Travel Agency. She went missing after she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in September 1999. Her husband remarried four years later. Since he only has 300 yuan of income every month, he is not able to raise the daughter he had with Wu Jing. At present, the girl is being taken care of by Wu Jing's grandparents. Wu Jing's grandma does not have a job and her grandpa only has 400 yuan of pension income every month. The elderly couple and the girl are living a very difficult life.

2. Gao Yuanxin from Dalian City, Liaoning Province

Gao Yuanxin, 62, was a retired worker from Lushunkou District Construction Company. He began to practice Falun Gong in 1997. After the persecution started in July 1999, he still went to the park to practice the exercises. As a result he was detained for 15 days. Later, in order to avoid constant harassment from local police and the Street Committee, he was forced to leave home and move from place to place. He has not returned since.

3. Yu Quan from Jilin City, Jilin Province

Yu Quan, 55, was an employee of Plant 250. Her family lives in the residential area of the plant. One morning in mid-September 2004, she went to visit a fellow practitioner and said that she was being followed by someone. After she left that fellow practitioner's home, she went missing. No one knows her whereabouts.

4.& 5. Liang Zhili and Tao Shangzhen from Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province

Both practitioners are from Lianzhou Town, Qingyuan City. Liang Zhili, 35, and Tao Shangzhen, 65, were once illegally arrested in 2000. Later it was learned that they escaped from detention. However, no one knows their whereabouts. Prior to their arrest, they once mentioned that they would go to Beijing to appeal. Their families wondered if they were sent to Sujiatun Concentration Camp after they went to Beijing and refused to disclose their names to the Beijing police.

6. Zhao Lijun from Beijing

Zhao Lijun went missing around November 20, 2005. Her family does not know her whereabouts. It's possible she might have been arrested. Ms. Zhao lives in the jurisdiction of Beixinqiao Police Station in Dongcheng District, Beijing. Wang Xianggang is the political commissioner of the police station, Liu Fushun is the director and Liang Jiexin is the deputy director.

7. Zhang Yuhua from Fushun City, Liaoning Province

Zhang Yuhua is from Liqi Village, Fushun County, Fushun City. She was taken away from her home on April 25, 2005. After inquiring everywhere, her family still cannot locate her.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Fu Keshu is a retired teacher from the Kaiyang County First Elementary School. She was an excellent teacher who was highly regarded. Ms. Fu has been missing since November 2005 in Jinggangshan City (a mountainous area that is a famous tourist attraction) in Jiangxi Province. Mr. Xu Gengli, a private business owner in Jinsha County, Guizhou Province, who went to Jinggangshan together with Ms. Fu, and is also missing. On November 29, 2005, Ms. Fu's family filed a missing person report at the Ciping District Police Department in Jinggangshan City. Policemen told them that some people were passing out Falun Gong truth clarification materials at the Huangyangjie scenic spot. During the time period when Ms. Fu's family went to look for her, Jinggangshan City National Security Agent Zhu came to talk with them many times.

Ms. Fu Keshu (54 years old), Mr. Xu Genli, and another 65-year-old woman arrived together in Jinggangshan City on the evening of November 16, 2005. They checked in at the Yongxin Motel. At around 8:00 a.m. on November 17, 2005, they were ready to tour the mountain, but the older woman did not feel good on the tour bus. So she stayed at the motel, and Ms. Fu and Mr. Xu told her they would return in the afternoon. They asked her to not leave the motel. But they never returned.

That older woman waited in the motel for five whole days, and then went back to Guiyang City, Guizhou Province on the sixth day. On November 29, the families of the missing persons went to Jinggangshan, arriving on December 4, 2005. They inquired at the motel, and then reported the missing persons to the Ciping District Police Department, and tried to find them through the Jinggangshan City TV Station.

During the time period when Ms. Fu's family was looking for her, the Jinggangshan City National Security Agent Zhu came to talk with them many times; therefore they thought that Ms. Fu must be detained by the National Security Group. They reported to the Jinggangshan City People's Government, City Police Department, and the City Tourist Bureau and requested that these departments help find their missing family members.

Ms. Fu Keshu came from Sichuan Province to Guizhou Province as "educated young student" in March 1971, and had been a teacher all this time. Over the years, she worked too hard, and passed out in her class due to shortness of breath and weakness. She had to retire early in August 1998 due to physical limitations.

In order to treat her sicknesses, Ms. Fu used more than a thousand yuan per year on medical treatments. After she started practicing Falun Gong, her sicknesses were all gone, and she donated one thousand yuan per year to help students having difficulty in Kaiyang County.

After the Chinese Communist party started persecuting Falun Gong, Ms. Fu Keshu was illegally arrested because she clarified the truth of Falun Gong. She eventually had to leave home to avoid being arrested at home. She has been missing for several months now.

After reading about the exposure of the Sujiatun Concentration Camp, my heart felt very heavy. It reminded me of those hard to breathe feelings I experienced when I was inside the Tianjin City Women's Labor Camp, which is a living hell. So many people have been tortured by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and suffered mental collapse in labor camps, and so many have died there!

It was revealed on the Internet that there are 36 secret concentration camps run by the CCP, but I think the actual number must be higher. At the end of 2003, a Falun Gong practitioner who went through cruel torture told me that he had been sent by the Tianjin City Men's Labor Camp guards to the mountain area in Ji County with other steadfast Falun Gong practitioners, where they were tortured. Their four limbs were first tied up, and then the guards would pierce through their legs with a needle similar to a knitting needle. He said that all the Falun Gong practitioners who refused to accept brainwashing would be sent there, tortured inhumanly, and no one knew if they ever came out of there.

When he told me that, I had just been released from the labor camp. Both my mind and body were severely damaged, and I had no energy to even ask him for more details. I know the public does not know that there are labor camps or prisons in the mountain area of Ji County. That place must have been a secret concentration camp.

In the past several decades under the CCP rule, in order to forcefully brainwash people, the CCP often illegally took people away to attend "Study Class." After the persecution of Falun Gong started, these "Study Classes" were called "Legal Education Centers or Bases," which in fact are terrorist bases where government officials torture people's minds and bodies. Chinese people are all terrified of being forced to attend any of these CCP "Study Classes."

The CCP is absolutely not a legitimate form of government, but is a demon that murders Chinese people with bloodthirsty motives that do not conform to normal logic, and their butcher-like means are all inhuman. The Sujiatun incident has been revealed for quite a while now, and more than 30 other concentration camps have also been exposed. This madness must be stopped now!

At about 9 a.m. on February 28, 2006, practitioner Ms. Liu Zhenxi, 45 years old, was illegally arrested near Hygienic School in Yanji City by police officers from the National Security Team. In the meantime, Ms. Dong Guizi, Mr. Deng, and Mr. Song Guoru were also arrested. At about 3 p.m., practitioner Ms. Sun Zelin, age 60, and four other practitioners were abducted in their homes. In the evening, policemen from the Chaoyangchuan Police Station in Longjing City harassed practitioners who live in Badao Town. Mr. Chi Qingsong was arrested and other practitioners have been reported missing. We hope that the people who know the truth can provide us with more detailed information.

Before February 28, there were two practitioners missing, Mr. Dong Guizhi and one other male practitioner. According to sources in China, seven practitioners in Chaoyangchuan Town were arrested simultaneously. Two practitioners have not been heard of since. The condition and whereabouts of these practitioners remain unknown.

On March 2, Korean practitioner Ms. An Yingji , over 50, and her good friend, who is also a Korean practitioner, were arrested and sent to the Tumen City Detention Center. Three materials sites in Yanji City were broken in, and one materials site in another area was also destroyed. A witness said that police officers seized some items on a freight train. About 11 people were arrested. The details remain unknown.

Liu Zhenxi, Song Guoru, and Dong Guizhi were taken and sent to a brainwashing center several times. They have been illegally imprisoned and persecuted several times. Mr. Deng has been seriously and cruelly tortured in the Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp. He was abducted again after being released.

The Shanxi Province Kidney Transplant and Dialysis Center is branch of the 2nd People's Hospital in Shanxi Province, also called the Province Occupational Disease Hospital that was set up in recent years.

The center has 50 sickbeds. Forty-five of those were occupied and when someone visited the day before yesterday. An inside source from the CCP let it be known that the center performed over 100 kidney transplant operations annually. The kidneys came from all over the country. Oddly enough, the maximum death sentences handed down annually in Taiyuan City amounts only to between ten and twenty. The center pays 30,000 yuan to buy a kidney. The price the patient has to pay is 70,000 yuan per kidney. The hospital entrance displays this clear information: "Set up ten years ago... the number of kidney transplant surgeries exceeded 500 such procedures at the end of 2004...among the top 20 in China."

Because of firmly practicing Falun Gong, I was unconstitutionally detained in the Xindian Forced Labor Camp from 2001 to 2002, during which time I witnessed executions by agents from the evil Chinese Communist Party twice. One day before the execution, the death row inmate about to be executed would be given an injection.

According to employees from the Yong An Crematory and nearby residents, the door next to the Yong An Crematory leads to the covert "Judicial Police Training Center of the Taiyuan City People's Court." People there carry the court-ordered executions. The Kidney Transplantation and Dialysis Center employees from the 2nd People's Hospital in Shanxi Province go to the execution site to harvest the organs for transplants. The western and northern entrances of the training center face the street, but the doors are tightly closed. If one stands on a higher point at the Yong An Funeral Home one notices an entrance at the south-east corner of the training center, but one cannot see the pathway. People are walking around inside the compound where big busses are parked. If one looks at it from the street, though, it seems there is nobody behind the high walls.

In recently years, several thousand Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally incarcerated in the Taiyuan City Xindian Forced Labor Camp, in both the women's and men's camps; several practitioners are known to have been beaten to death. It is possible that some practitioners have gone missing since being transferred from the camp.

Over 30-year-old practitioner Mr. Li Huiwen, an employee from the Shanxi Province Yangquan Mining Department died on February 26, 2003 as the result of persecution by abusers at the Xindian Forced Labor Camp.

The number of deaths of Falun Gong practitioners confirmed by Clearwisdom Net is only one tenth of the total.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Zheng Yingchun, in Fuyuan County of Heilongjiang Province, has been suffering from persecution for a very long time. She was forced to undergo brainwashing, was fined an extremely high fee, and was illegally detained. In June of 2002, she was sentenced to two years and was sent to Jiamusi Labor Camp, where she was tortured to the brink of death. In 2005, the police broke into Zheng Yingchun's house to harass her and took her away many times. In order to find an excuse to imprison her, they even falsified evidence. Thus, on December 28, 2005 she was sent to a labor camp once again.

Zheng Yingchun had exposed the criminal persecution against her by policeman Zhang Sidong in Fuyuan County. This infuriated Zhang. For revenge, on July 20, 2005, Zhang Sidong, in league with policemen Cai Yonglin, Guo Jishan and two local policemen, intruded into her house, forcefully detained her, and ransacked her house. Nevertheless, they could not find any evidence.

Zhang Sidong and Cai Yonglin broke into Zheng Yingchun's house on the afternoon of July 25 once again. On August 25, at 1:00 p.m., Zheng Yingchun came back from her mother's house and when she arrived home, several policemen including, Zhang Sidong, were already there waiting. They handcuffed her and illegally detained her at the police department. While detained there, Zheng Yingchun suddenly had a heart attack. Zhang Sidong, along with 4 or 5 policemen, violently dragged her into the police department to see the doctor. After that, the police broke into her house again and found three Falun Gong books. They also confiscated 9 copies of, "The Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party" and some fliers. They put the materials on her bed and video recorded it as evidence. Then they reported it to the Political and Legal Commission and said, "Zheng Yingchun was arrested for passing fliers in the market, and she carries a lot of fliers with her too." Zheng Yingchun's health quickly deteriorated. Her whole body became swollen, aching, and twitching. Sometimes she couldn't even take care of herself. She was sent to the hospital for intensive care many times, and her life was in danger. However, while Zheng Yingchun's health was in critical condition, Zhang Sidong had the gall to tell Zheng Yingchun's family that if they paid ten thousand yuan, she would be released.

In 2002, Zhang Sidong sentenced Zheng Yinchun to 2 years of imprisonment. The police in the labor camp broke her arm by force and so far she still couldn't go to work and thus she had no income at all. Because her family could not pay any money, Zhang Sidong disregarded Zheng Yingchun's critical condition and sentenced her to 2 years in a labor camp again. On December 28, 2005, Zheng Yingchun was detained in a labor camp again. At that time, she was in very poor condition. The labor camp wouldn't even admit her. Her family took her out for treatment. Zhang Sidong still didn't give up. He told Zheng Yingchun's mother and sister to come to the police department, pay the money, and take her home. By this time, Zheng Yingchun's health had reached an extremely dangerous condition. On February 23, 2006, 4 or 5 policemen from the police department broke into Zheng Yingchun mother's house and demanded that she pay 10,000 to 20,000 yuan or else they would arrest her again.

Zheng Yingchun used to have very good health due to practicing Falun Gong. She was very kind to everyone and devoted to her parents, and thus her neighbors, relatives, and friends had a high opinion of her. Zheng Yingchun's store was forced to close and the social security for unemployment was withheld. Her mother was sick in bed in need of an infusion, and had insomnia because of worrying about her daughter. Zheng Yingchun's daughter became homeless because of the persecution. She even lost the opportunity to go to school and has been staying at her aunt's house.

1. [Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province] Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Lu Jianwen Subjected to Illegal Lawsuit and Practitioner Ms. Zeng Qing Brutally Tortured

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lu Jianwen from the Doumen District Detention Center of Zhuhai City in Guangdong Province was secretly subjected to an illegal lawsuit at the Doumen District Court on March 9, 2006. Prior to going to the court, Ms. Lu requested that the Doumen District Detention Center notify her family members through the mail, but the request was rejected. Ms. Lu has reportedly been on a hunger strike at the Doumen District Detention Center for about one week.

Another practitioner, Ms. Zeng Qing, from Doumen District of Zhuhai City, has been brutally tortured by evil police.

At about 10:00 a.m. on March 7, 2006, practitioners Ms. Liu Jizhi and her daughter were arrested in the laundry room located in the Xisanqi Air Force Scientific Research Courtyard in the Haidian District of Beijing City. Their current whereabouts are unknown.

Those who witnessed the arrest of Ms. Liu Jizhi saw several cars with the license plates of Hebei Province Police. The head police officer spoke with a tone of executing official business, "We are from the Police Department of Zhuozhou City." Some practitioners called the Zhuozhou City Police Department, but the police refused to admit to the arrest of Ms. Liu Jizhi.

On the morning of March 21, 2006, police from the Ganjingzi District Police Department of Dalian City and from the Xinzaizi Police Station broke into the home of Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Xue Xinkai and forcibly took him away.

A female practitioner from Changchun City was recently taken away by the police. This practitioner is 5 feet tall (1.55 meters) and appears to be about 36 years old. She spoke rather quickly, her hair was in a ponytail and she was wearing a dark-red feather jacket. She always rode a blue bike and was greeted as "Xiao Zheng."

In recent days, the Longgang District Court of Huludao City in Liaoning Province required over ten Falun Gong practitioners who were released for medical treatment to pay 1,200 yuan as the fee for physical examination. If anyone refused to do so, he or she would be taken away immediately.

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Liu Shuhua and Ms. Guo Yuxiang from Qilihan Village were illegally arrested during the 10^th National People's Congress and the 10^th CPPCC National Committee, which took place March 7-10, 2006.

On March 9, 2006, a practitioner from the Teacher's Building, Fufeng Minor District, Kuancheng District (under the supervision of the Songjiaba Residential Committee) of Changchun City was taken away by the police. The police also confiscated CDs, equipment and truth-clarification materials.

Reportedly, at the end of February 2006, the Pingdingbu Police Station of Tieling City consecutively arrested seven Falun Gong practitioners. Now four of them have been sent to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp. They are: Ms. Zhu Guilan, sentenced to one year of forced labor; Ms. Xian Guiju, sentenced to one year of forced labor; Mr. Song Liansheng, sentenced to two years of forced labor; Mr. Xu Yajie, sentenced to two years of forced labor. The other three practitioners were illegally fined. Among them, Ms. Shi Huimin and another practitioner whose name is unknown were each fined ten thousand yuan. Practitioner Mr. Zhou Changchun was fined thirteen thousand yuan.

Practitioner Mr. Zheng Donghui from Changchun City was arrested while he was hanging up truth-clarification banners in Tiebei District. In addition, the police are secretly searching for practitioners Ms. Wang Yuhuan and Ms. Sun Shuxiang, who served as witnesses of the brutal tortures exposed in the open letter by attorney Mr. Gao Zhicheng.

Around March 3, 2006, practitioner Ms. Dong Yunxiao from Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province was at home, when a group of police officers from the Beijiao Police Station illegally broke in and arrested her. They also illegally searched her apartment and confiscated several boxes of items, including Falun Gong books, truth-clarification materials, the "Nine Commentaries," as well as an MP3 player and a laptop.

Ms. Dong Yunxiao is currently being illegally held in the No. 2 Detention Center of Shijiazhuang City. It was said that she would be handed over to the court for sentencing.

The National Security Group of Jilin City, the Jiuzhan Township Police Department and the New China Candy Factory Police Station colluded in arresting over ten Falun Gong practitioners from Jiuzhan Township, at 10:00 p.m. on March 6, 2006. The exact number of practitioners arrested is unclear. They are from Jiuzhan Township, the New China Candy Factory and the Chemical Fabric Factory.

Policemen either forcibly broke in, or they first cut the electricity meter wires and then broke in when Falun Gong practitioners or their family members opened the door for them as they pretended to come to exam the electricity meters. They then arrested the practitioners and ransacked their homes.

When the practitioners' family members tried to stop them, some were beaten and threatened by the police, who also pointed at the confiscated Nine Commentaries and truth-clarification materials and claimed that they would serve as the evidence for them to arrest the practitioners without going through any legal procedures.

These practitioners are currently being held in the Baishan Forced Labor Camp. The guards there forbade the family members of the practitioners to visit, not even allowing them to send clothes.

On the evening of January 9, 2006, a truth-clarification material site 10 kilometers away from Changge City was damaged. Three practitioners were arrested at the site. Later two practitioners walked away with righteous thoughts. It is not known where Practitioner Mr. Zhang Qingchen is being held.

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Li Yanlan (68 years old) and Ms. Chen Cuizhi (44 years old) were arrested by policemen from the Guangming Police Station on the evening of March 21, 2006. They are currently being held in the Shijiazi Detention Center.

On March 9, 2006, practitioner Ms. Cao Baoyu from Langfang City was illegally arrested by officers from the Langfang City Police Department, the Guangyang District Police Department and Gaungyang District Procuratorate, under false charges. Ms. Cao is currently being held and tortured in the Langfang City Detention Center. Her family members have not been allowed to visit her.

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Hou Weiyu from Weijia Village, Ximu Town, Haicheng City in Liaoning Province was arrested by several police officers including He Qiwei (male) from the Ximu Town Police Station. She is currently being held in the Haicheng City Detention Center. Ms. Hou was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor by a group headed by Li Haihua (male). Ms. Hou is currently being held in the Anshan Detention Center. Her husband is left home alone with no one to take care of him.

Practitioner Mr. Zhang Zhenwei from Ranjia Village, Yanjun Town in Haicheng City was just released six months ago from the Anshan Detention Center. After practitioners tapped into the regular television broadcasting system to clarify the truth, the police carried out a systematic search and arrested Mr. Zhang again. Mr. Zhang was illegally sentenced to one and a half years of forced labor by a group headed by Li Haihua (male). He is currently being held in the Anshan Detention Center. At home, his wife and son, who just started middle school, are experiencing financial difficulties.

Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Jia Changheng from Miyun District of Beijing City was illegally sentenced to two years of forced labor. He is currently being held in the Third Group of the Tuanhe Forced Labor Camp in Daxing District of Beijing City.

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Huo Zhifang, Mr. He Dongyong and his wife from Zhongguan Village, Haidian District of Beijing City were arrested on March 14, 2006. The police ransacked their homes. Computers, printers, Falun Gong materials and other items were confiscated. They are currently being held, possibly in the Qinghe Detention Center.

Anshan Detention Center in Liaoning Province continued to detain Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Lu Yunlai from Ranjia Village, Yanjun Town of Haicheng City beyond the original sentenced period. Instructor Liu Zhonghe (male) and Ping Bo (male) headed those who refused to release Mr. Lu. When Ping Bo (male) was arresting Mr. Lu, he knocked Mr. Lu's teeth out.

At about 7:30 a.m. on March 1, 2006, when the son of practitioner Ms. Liu Lijun opened the door to go out, the police who had been waiting outside broke in and ransacked the house. They arrested Ms. Liu Lijun and also confiscated a laptop, a laser printer and a color printer, as well as more than ten Falun Gong books, five E-books, three MP3 and other items, worth nearly ten thousand yuan.

After Ms. Liu Lijun was arrested, she was locked in an iron chair in the Tianjin Street Police Station for one day and one night. On the evening of March 2, she was illegally taken to the Yaojia Detention Center and held in the 8-11 room. She was forced to sleep on the floor. She was left there until March 13, when she was tortured until near death, losing a pulse, before she was sent to the Dalian City Tumor Hospital for emergency care. Her veins had already shrunk and resisted the needles. She was put into room 307. Her family members were notified and when they went to the hospital to visit her, they saw that Ms. Liu was still wearing handcuffs and foot shackles during the rescue procedure. Only when the family members strongly protested this were the handcuffs and shackles taken off. Now Ms. Liu is out of danger, but her physical body has suffered great damage. The staff members of the Zhongshan Police Department tortured Ms. Liu until she lost the ability to take care of herself, but they still extorted Ms. Liu's family members for a medical fee of 1,700 yuan. They forced Ms. Liu's son to promise in her place that she would not contact other Falun Gong practitioners before she was given the paperwork for being "bailed out to wait for court sentencing."

On March 3, 2003, Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Tian Zongfu from Shibing County in Guizhou Province was persecuted by local policemen, who also illegally took his television and VCD player. In the meantime, they also took a 6,000-yuan savings slip and then took Mr. Tian Zongfu to the Zhongba Forced Labor Camp before they returned the 6,000-yuan savings slip, a recorder, Falun Gong books and records.

Reportedly, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Tang Yunli from Rongcheng City in Shandong Province was forcibly taken away to the Wangchun Forced Labor Camp in Zibo City in Shangdong Province by the Rongcheng City 610 Office, without going through any legal procedures. Ms. Tang's family received a phone call from a woman who claimed to be a Chief from Zibo City, on the evening of March 22. When the family members asked for her name and police number, she avoided the question and did not answer, but claimed that this information had nothing to do with them. The woman used the following phone number: 86-533-6689411.

Reportedly, Ms. Tang was subjected to torture for over 50 hours when she was held in the Rongcheng Detention Center. Police took turns watching her and forbade her to sleep, wash her face or comb her hair. By the time this report was sent, the police had stolen Ms. Tang's family's property and legal income, and had extorted 700 yuan from the family during their visits, as well as 800 yuan carried by Ms. Tang, worth a total of 4250 yuan.

Practitioner Ms. Luo Chuanmei from Wulumuqi City in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region was arrested when she was clarifying the truth in Dongshan District on March 8, 2006. She is currently being illegally held in the Liudaowan Detention Center of Wulumuqi City. Her family members wished to visit her, but they were rejected. Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Xu Lamei disappeared on March 14, 2006, after she went out to distribute truth-clarification materials. Her whereabouts are still unknown.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Ping from Qufu City in Shangdong Province was reported to the police when she was distributing truth-clarification materials. She was followed by the local police. On March 16, 2006, she was arrested and is currently being held in the Qufu City Detention Center.

Reportedly, the Qingduankou Prison authorities are currently persecuting Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to be "transformed," with the excuse of the ongoing 10^th National People's Congress and the 10^th CPPCC National Committee and the excuse of searching for Falun Gong books. Practitioner Mr. Shi Lei and two other practitioners are still being held.

On March 12, 2006, practitioners Mr. Sheng Guoli and his mother, who lived in the 204 Geological Survey District of Chifeng City, were arrested by police when they were distributing truth-clarification materials. At about 12:00 a.m., practitioner Ms. Wang Yuhuan was arrested at home by local police officer Yan Jun (male) and police from the National Security Group of Songshan District. They are currently being held and tortured in the Songshan District Detention Center.

Practitioner Ms. Wang Shulan is 68 years old. On March 1, 2006, more than ten police officers from the Xinhua Police Department of Qiaoxi District, Shijiazhuang City in Hebei Province broke into her home and took her away. She is currently being held in the Shijiazhuang City No. 2 Detention Center.

On March 21, 2006, police ransacked practitioner Mr. Lao Xue's home in Xinzaizi District and took away his son.

In the No. 1 Detention Center (also called the Tutaizi Detention Center) of Qinghuangdao City in Hebei Province, there are thirty-seven practitioners being illegally held.

Eight Falun Gong practitioners including Mr. Zhou Shurong from Xinhe Village, Wu'ning Town, Mouping District, Yantai City in Shandong Province were illegally arrested and their homes ransacked by police from the Mouping District National Security Group. The practitioners are currently being held in the Mouping District Detention Center.

In recent days, several practitioners from Luoyang City in Henan Province have been arrested.

On March 21, 2006, Henan Province Dahe Newspaper published a long article on the second page to defame Falun Gong. This article was a special article provided by the Xinhua News Agency.

The Southern-Central Industrial University sent letters to the parents of those who did well in the admission examination for the graduate schools to investigate these students as well as their parents as to whether they practice Falun Gong. The letter also requested the workplaces of the parents to fill in a form and stamp it before they send it back.

In recent days, Bus 707 which belongs to the Beijing City Bus Company Inc., started to post pictures defaming Falun Gong on the back of the seats and inside of the bus.
