We are family members of Falun Gong practitioners who are unconstitutionally detained in the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp in Zhuzhou City, Hunan Province. In the past six years we have watched our loved ones abused and tortured at the hands of the labor camp guards, yet the labor camp authorities do not admit to any crimes. None of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) regime's judicial or legal bureaus has ever punished these criminals. The cruel persecution is persisting and escalating. Justice and conscience forbid us from remaining silent. We, together with the other 552 family members of Falun Gong practitioners who appealed to the international community on September 1, 2005, total 1,072, are again appealing for help from the international community. We call on the international community to condemn and stop these atrocities. We strongly urge international human rights organizations to take measures against these crimes against humanity.

We had previously exposed the atrocities at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp on September 1, 2005. The labor camp received many phone calls and faxes sent from overseas to condemn their crimes. The atrocities did not stop, however, but escalated. The labor camp authorities and the CCP agents launched a frenzied retaliation against the people who signed the public letter. Falun Gong practitioner Zhang Yunlan was tortured until she had a mental breakdown, after which her family took her home. In November 2005, the CCP agents hit and killed her with a car in order to destroy evidence of their crimes. The parents of Falun Gong practitioner Liu Dan, who is still being held at the labor camp, both signed the letter. The perpetrators stripped Liu Dan naked and used a hard brush to scrub her body until she was covered in blood. They force-fed her drugs. Liu Dan was suffering from pneumonia. She had a high fever for 20 days, and yet was deprived of sleep. Guard Zhang Yanping screamed, "I will make sure to drive you insane!" The labor camp authorities told her family that they couldn't visit Liu Dan for one year.

The guards at the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp often say, "It's not necessary to beat them [Falun Gong practitioners] to death! It's better to make them feel worse than dead."

More than 300 Falun Gong practitioners, including Jiang Meilan, Xu Shaoan, Xu Jinhua, Chen Chujun, Yang Jusheng, Yang Cuixian, Shi Yuhua, Liu Juhua, Li Mei, Song Zhezi, Mu Yuxiang have been savagely tortured. Most of them were left with severe injuries and some are severely and permanently disabled.

Practitioner Zou Ruxiang from Pingjiang, Hunan Province refused to give up Falun Gong even after the guards exhausted all kinds of torture on her, so the guards took her to a mental hospital. According to her account, the captors took her to a room lined with many drug bottles, as well as ropes and sticks laid on the floor. She could not remember what happened after that. She woke up at home, blind in both eyes and paralyzed. A large scar was discovered on the back of her head, which she thinks resulted from being hit by a stick at the hospital. Four years later, Zou Ruxiang still has not recovered her memory fully. Her eyesight is 0.1 in both eyes, which is legally blind. Her gait is highly unstable and her body sways when she walks.

We know that more than 100 practitioners who had been sent to mental hospitals were injected with large doses of nerve-damaging drugs, which caused them to suffer mental breakdowns and left them with various kinds of trauma. Some were severely disabled.

The CCP pays the abusers at the labor camp with hard-earned taxpayers' money. This money is used to savagely persecute our family members. We are completely disillusioned about the CCP. The CCP follows no law, no moral standard, no concern for humanity, but only perpetuates strife between people.

We appeal to international human rights organizations to condemn the wicked CCP for its barbaric, large-scale persecution of millions of people who practice Truthfulness- Compassion-Forbearance, and help rescue our loved ones from the Baimalong Forced Labor Camp.

Guangdong Sanshui Women's Labor Camp is a place that even the guards call a "hell on earth." The Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has the guards adopt all kinds of horrible and vicious methods, such as instigating criminals to abuse Falun Gong practitioners, not allowing sleep or bathroom visits, and forcing practitioners to squat for unbearably long periods of time.

Sanshui Women's Labor Camp detains and persecutes practitioners and this information is not allowed to get out. Practitioners' letters to leaders of the labor camp are monitored strictly. When they do write, they are punished and their prison terms are extended. The letters sent out are checked to prevent them from expressing any dissatisfaction. Only letters praising the labor camp are allowed to be sent out. Letters coming in are also checked. For example, a letter about the death of the father of Fang Yi, a college physical education teacher, was held for two months.

When some practitioners told the wardens of the labor camp that forbidding sleep is violating the law, they answered, "How many people behave according to the law?" The police convict a person based on their thoughts: they deduct people's score and extend people's prison term if they are found to have "incorrect thoughts." They also extend a person's term based on false accusations. If practitioners refuse to be "transformed" at the end of their term, the guards take them to a brainwashing session to continue the persecution. If they still refuse to be "transformed," the guards take them back to labor camp again. This cycle of persecution goes on and on. Many people have developed disordered internal secretion. Some cannot bear the pain and cry loudly. Even the guards say this is a "hell on earth."

The practitioners have resisted the persecution. Because one practitioner refused to be "transformed," she was forced to keep her eyes open for one month. As soon as she closed her eyes, the persecutors pierced her eyelids and beat her. But she remained steadfast. She even developed the ability to sleep with her eyes open, which made the evil abort their plans to "transform" her, and the leader was replaced. The notorious former leader Sun was replaced by a slightly better person named Yang.

Now there are dozens of practitioners detained in Sanshui Women's Labor Camp Team No. 3, including:

Huang Wanxian, 28 years old, graduated from Central Arts College, from Fujian, was seized in Shenzhen, and sent to a labor camp in 2004 for three years.

Zhang Lijie, 39 years old, has an 8-year-old son. She taught English in college and later in civil aviation. She was sent to labor camp in May 2004 for three years.

Xue Aimei, 37 years old, from Nanshan, Shenzhen, studied finance and accounting in the U.S. In order to resist the persecution and "transformation," she has been on a hunger strike many times. Now she is detained in Group Three. The labor camp has detained her for three years, and her term has been extended for another three years.

Tian Huiying, 50 years old, from the Guangdong countryside, has been sentenced to a labor camp for two years. She has three children; the oldest is 14 years old. She was beaten black and blue by lawless wardens. She suffered a mental collapse and was detained in solitary confinement.

Wu Dongping is 50 years old, was formerly the principal of a kindergarten, and was sentenced to three years in a labor camp.

Chen Yandan was arrested when her baby was one year old. She was arrested in Baoan or Dongguan and sentenced to two years in a labor camp.

He Jiaoti, 20 years old, is the youngest person in the labor camp. She has no money. She did not even have any toilet paper. Guards do not allow others give her any. She was detained in small cell for writing a "solemn declaration" stating that she would resume the practice of Falun Gong.

Mr. Li Huimin, a Falun Gong practitioner from Jizhou City, Hebei Province, was illegally imprisoned in Hebei Province Jidong Prison and suffered inhuman torture for five years. On the morning of February 5, 2006, Mr. Li died due to severe mental and physical damage from the persecution.

The following is Mr. Li Huimin's personal account before he died. It had to go through several places before reaching us safely.

"My name is Li Huimin. I was born in 1952. After I started practicing Falun Gong in 1995, I experienced great physical and mental changes and became very healthy. All my fellow villagers thought I was a good person. My temper greatly improved and all the conflicts I had with others were solved. Everyone knew that Falun Gong practitioners were trying to be good people.

"On April 25, 1999, Zhao Xinqiao, Li Xuezhi, Yan Su, and Li X from the local police station started to harass me for practicing Falun Gong. When the persecution officially started on July 20, 1999, Zhao Xinqiao detained me illegally at the police station for several days and then imprisoned me for another half month. After my release, the local police watched me 24 hours a day. Liu Lisen and other personnel from the City 610 Office directed Yan Su to confiscate my business license, thus cutting off our source of income.

"In March 2000, as my wife and I practiced the exercises outside, Li Xuezhi and Li X arrested us again and detained for two weeks. Li Xuezhi and Zheng Baoxin later extended the term. Since many practitioners from Jizhou had gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in May 2000, Zhao Guosheng from the political security section ordered Li Xuezhi, Yan Su, and other policemen to watch me around the clock. There was a furniture store in the building where I lived and they would lie down on the new sofas and watch me. I told them, "I didn't do anything wrong. Why are you watching me and bringing all this trouble to my neighbors? Are you afraid that I will go to Beijing to appeal?" Li Xuezhi said, "You think I like watching you? Since you said you would go to Beijing to appeal, I'll arrest you." I was then arrested and detained again.

"At that time, many practitioners from Jizhou City had already gone to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. The city officials, including Mayor Ji Qingzhe and Party Secretary Yan Shengzhong, who is now the chair of the anti-cult association in Hengshui, made the decision to attempt to target a practitioner to be held responsible for this. Therefore, every police station in the county began "illegally arresting" and detaining many practitioners.

"In Jizhou City Li Xuezhi, Zhen Baoxin, Wang Yuwei and Zhang were responsible for these arrests. They tortured practitioners by forcing them to sit on the floor with their arms holding both legs, and then they would insert a wood stick underneath their knees and above the arms to incapacitate them. In addition to tightly handcuffing them, they would bind practitioners' thumbs with a rubberized fabric, wet it, then hook it up to a live telephone wire to electrically shock them. This would go on for over an hour. Ms. Zhou Xuemei and her daughter were tortured miserably this way. Some practitioners were tortured for just telling the truth. All three members of my family were arrested. When my home was ransacked, they found a written indictment against Jiang Zemin and a letter to Jizhou City officials exposing the persecution. They thought my daughter had written it, so they tortured her.

"I wanted to protest my fellow practitioners' mistreatment, so I thought I should suffer some hardship. I then carried out a hunger strike for six days. The director of the detention center (probably Xue Zengpi) came to see me every day. He ordered the inmates to watch me but not to harm me. At 11 p.m., on the sixth day, my daughter and I were released. Sun Juan from the local "610 Office" drove us home in an official vehicle. Our home was a mess. In the chaos, I found a search warrant signed by Li Xuezhi, Zhen Baoxin, and Wang Yuwei.

"The next day, Zheng Baoxin and Wang Yuwei came to my home again. The police started another 24-hour watch outside my building. Over 10 days later, officials came from Hengshui City to investigate. One of them was Wang Changxin.

"On June 12, 2000, Wang Changxin, the Director of the Hengshui Police Department, and Zhang Ligang, from the political security section of the Jizhou Police Department, ransacked my home and arrested me once again. I was initially detained for six months in the Hengshui Detention Center and then imprisoned in Tangshan City's Jidong Prison. I was kept in the First Group. The political head was named Bi Zhiyu. In attempting to force me to give up the practice of Falun Gong, they did not allow me to talk to any inmates. As a result, none of the over 100 inmates spoke to me. Four people would take shifts to watch me day and night, recording everything I did. The prisoners would earn credits for this. Once the prison guard handcuffed me behind my back for six days. The handcuffs cut into my wrists. I was once forbidden to sleep for four straight days. Another abuse involved the prison guard forcing me to lie down with my feet raised above my head and not being allowed to sleep. In the winter I was handcuffed in a room with the wind coming in all directions. If I wanted to use the toilet, they would strip me and not allow me to dress until I was done. I often suffered tremendous gas pains, which kept me from eating or moving for several days."

Mr. Li Huimin had suffered five years of physical and mental torture. He also underwent intensive brainwashing and slave labor for his refusal to give up the practice of Falun Gong. This long-term pressure eventually took a toll on Mr. Li's health. He developed high blood pressure and became very weak and depressed upon his release in 2005. He died on the morning of February 5, 2006.

Several Falun Gong practitioners are being illegally detained in Siping Prison. Practitioner Mr. Liu Zhijun has been there for a long time, because he was given a four-year sentence. Mr. Liu is suffering from high blood pressure, migraines, and bladder problems as the result of persecution. His blood pressure often reaches 160 mmHg, and he needs to urinate very frequently even if he eats only soup. His relatives asked for a medical parole on his behalf. The chief prison administrator, Li Zhiqiang, evaded discussing this issue with Liu's relatives. He only said, "The Prison Penalty Section is in charge of medical paroles." The officer in charge of Ward 11, where Mr. Liu is detained, is believed to be Yu Lixin. Yu was extremely rude to Liu's relatives and also evaded the issue.

Another practitioner, Mr. Wang Hongge, also needs medical attention. His relatives asked to speak with the assistant administrator of the prison, Lan Lijun. The guard blocked their path, so the Wang family called Sun Yanqing, director of the Prison Penalty Section. Sun replied, "Wang's appeal is withheld. Our policy is to withhold all appeals related to Falun Gong." He added, "This policy is approved by the Jilin Province Bureau of Prison Administration." Sun also claimed to be true to his words. "Wang Hongge's case does not qualify for medical parole," Sun concluded.

The Wang family then visited Siping City's Prison Procuratorate Office and asked to see Director Lai regarding Wang's medical parole. Lai said he was busy and told the family to be patient. Nonetheless, Lai admitted that it was illegal for the prison to withhold Wang's appeal.

Practitioners Jiang Quande and Liang Zhengxing were transferred from Siping Prison to Gongzhulin Prison on Chinese New Year's Day. To cover up the persecution, prison authorities prohibited family members from visiting these practitioners.

On February 13, 2006, Langfang City's Guangyang District Police Station police released practitioner Mr. Cao Baoyu from Dachang Detention Center and sent him home. At about 7 a.m. on February 19, six people from the Guangyang Police Station and the Beiwang Town Police Station illegally arrested him again. Mr. Cao has not yet been released.

When the six police officers arrived at Mr. Cao's home, Beiwang Town Police Station Chief Zhao and an officer from the Guangyang Police Station entered the yard by climbing over the fence, since the gate was closed. They did not show any ID or documents, but ordered Mr. Cao to go with them. A policeman from the Guangyang Police Station said it would not take long. Mr. Cao said, "I will not go there. We can talk here." The police then arrested him by force. Mr. Cao's wife went up to ask about her husband, but the police grabbed and held her. They claimed she was "interfering with law enforcement." Although Mr. Cao was still physically weak, four policemen forced him into a police car and sent him to a brainwashing center, where he remains.

On February 5, Mr. Cao and several other practitioners went to the Xianghe Police Station and the county government to appeal the arrest of Langfang practitioner Wang Shaoqiu. At about 2 p.m., the Dachang police arrived. They beat him, kicked him, arrested him, and took him to the Dachang Police Station. That evening, a thin, tall police chief asked him to take off all his clothes, even underwear. Mr. Cao refused and was brutally beaten. The chief said, "So, you do not want to take off your clothes?!" Mr. Cao said, "No, I do not, since I am not a prisoner, nor have I committed crimes." The chief told several policemen to search Mr. Cao's clothes and even pulled off the zippers. He then brought Mr. Cao to the hallway, where he beat him, kicked him, and slapped him. Finally, he tied Mr. Cao to an iron chair.

Mr. Cao's nose was injured and still bleeding after one week. Two teeth in his upper jaw were loosened during the beating, and he was unable to chew food for more than 10 days. The beating also impaired his hearing. Mr. Cao and other practitioners went on hunger strike to protest the persecution. He was released on February 13 and then arrested once again on February 19.

From the night of March 1 until the morning of March 2, 2006, police officer Shao Li from the Gucheng County Police Department in Hebei Province ganged up with officers of different levels from the police stations of various townships and towns to arrest Falun Gong practitioners in Gucheng County. The following Falun Gong practitioners were illegally arrested by them: Li Lanfen, Zhou Guilan, Wang Xiuzhi, Xu Wenqing, Xu Lele, Zhang Quanzhong, Zhang Guizhi, Liu Zhiwen, Dong Yanwen, Liu Yuanzhen, Diao Zhanglin, and another practitioner (name unknown). It has been reported that the police arrested them and sent them all to a brainwashing center. Xu Lele, Zhang Quanzhong, Liu Yuanzhen, and three other practitioners managed to escape from the center.

All of these practitioners were arrested in a deceptive way. In most cases the police lied and said they needed to "talk" to them. If the practitioner didn't go for the talk, then they would say somebody reported on them. There were a number of practitioners assigned to each officer. The officers were assigned the specific task of arresting the practitioners.

For example, at around 8 p.m. on March 1, Cui Jian and over a dozen police officers from Gucheng County Zhengkou Police Station arrived at Falun Gong practitioner Lifen's home and said, "One of the people staying in the hotel you own is under investigation. You should come with us to identify this person. We'll bring you back after 10 minutes." Li Lanfen's husband said he would go, but they emphasized that Li Lanfen herself needed to go. At last they said, both of you should come. Afterwards, they detained Li Lanfen and took her husband back home to search the house. They didn't find anything and left.

At around 7:30 on March 2, Shaoli, Zhai Hongjun, and 4 people from Gucheng County Police Department entered Falun Gong practitioner Zhou Guilan's home and asked him to lead them to Liu Yuanzhen. (Falun Gong practitioner Liu Lanzhen had just been released from Gaoyang Labor Camp before the Chinese New Year; "Minghui Weekly" reported that she/he was tortured). They said that they needed to send money to Liu Guizhen. They said the money was to pay the family's debts, and that her family had been asking for it. After Liu Yuanzhen came back, she went to the police department to get the money, but police officer Shao Li said they had to discuss the matter. Zhou Guilan really thought the police wanted to send money to Liu Yuanzhen, so Zhou took them to Liu Yuanzhen's workplace. Liu Yuanzhen wanted Shao Li to come in, but Shao Li said, "Come with me." Zhou Guilan said, "You guys go ahead, I'm not going." Shao Li said, "You need to go to be a witness. Come." After Zhou and Liu got into the car, they saw that they were driving in the direction of the detention center. Then they realized they had been deceived. Zhou Guilan clarified the truth to them. Zhai Hongjun said, "It's not up to us. The boss asked us to put you guys in a [brainwashing] center."

On February 8, 2006, police officers from Jiaohe City in Jilin Province broke into Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Liu Huihai's home, illegally arrested him and sent him to a labor camp. The police severely tortured Mr. Liu Huihai and then sent him to a hospital for emergency medical treatment. The police lied to Mr. Liu's father about the cause of his son's serious health condition, saying it was a heart attack. Prior to becoming a Falun Gong practitioner, Mr. Liu Huihai engaged in illicit activities. By following the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance" and practicing Falun Gong, Mr. Liu became a kind and honest person and left his old ways. He was nevertheless arrested several times for his peaceful belief. Currently, Mr. Liu is on a hunger strike and enduring brutal force-feeding. The following are some details of his case:

Mr. Liu Huihai is 44 years old. He started practicing Falun Gong in 2000. His father reports that prior to practicing Falun Gong, Liu Huihai engaged in criminal behavior and was sentenced to prison at the age of 23. His father said that he turned into a completely different person after practicing Falun Gong, becoming considerate and never fighting back when encountering conflict or personal injustice.

Facing the evil CCP's persecution of Falun Gong, Liu Huihai said, "Falun Gong is so good! How could we possible acknowledge such a wicked persecution? We must tell people the facts about Falun Gong!" In 2002, Mr. Liu was arrested and sentenced to two years in a labor camp for distributing truth-clarification materials. At the Jiutai Labor Camp, Mr. Liu Huihai never cooperated with the authorities. He refused to participate in the forced labor work and started a hunger strike. He left the labor camp nine months later.

In June of 2005, Mr. Liu Huihai clarified the truth about Falun Gong on a bus. He was reported and arrested. When the police took Liu Huihai in handcuffs back to his house to search it, Mr. Liu escaped. The police searched his home regardless. His father stopped the police. "What is wrong with practicing Falun Gong and being a good person? How come you always insult and torture us for no reason? Why did you not care when my son was a criminal and arrest him now after he became a good person? Only Falun Gong has the power to turn a criminal into a good person, and turn a good person into a better person. Falun Gong is great! Why don't you just leave the good people alone?" The police were embarrassed and left.

At around 5:00 a.m. on the morning of February 8, 2006, the police knocked on Mr. Liu Huihai's door again when he was doing the exercises. Mr. Liu tried to escape through the back window, but the police were stationed there. They captured him and took him to a detention center. The police confiscated 3,400 yuan in cash from his home.

The next day when Mr. Liu Huihai's father heard that his son had been tortured and sent to a hospital, he immediately went to the police station to request his son's release. The police denied that they had tortured Mr. Liu, and showed his father a doctor's report stating that he had suffered a heart attack. His father worried even more, since Mr. Liu Huihai was a very healthy man and did not have any heart problems.

Mr. Liu Huihai is currently imprisoned in the Jiaohe City Detention Center. He insists on clarifying the truth about Falun Gong to everyone and keeps calling out "Falun Dafa is good." We also learned that he went on a hunger strike to protest the illegal arrest and suffered brutal force-feeding.

Five family members of Ms. Min Xiujuan, a Falun Gong practitioner from Shanghai City, were arrested by the police in 2005. Three of them are still held in the detention center, and they have been persecuted for more than eight months.

Ms. Min is more than 60 years old. Before practicing Falun Gong, she suffered from many diseases. After she started practicing, her health improved greatly, and all her diseases were gone. She told everyone she met, "Falun Dafa is good and the principles of truthfulness-compassion-forbearance are good." People far and near knew that many of her family members also practiced Falun Gong, and she led a happy family life. After July 20, 1999, when the CCP and Jiang's regime launched the persecution of Falun Gong, her family began a turbulent life.

In 2001, Min Xiujuan's younger daughter and son-in-law went to Tiananmen Square to appeal for Falun Gong and were sentenced to forced labor for one and half years. Her older daughter was arrested and sent to the brainwashing center in the Qingpu District since she refused to write the so-called "guarantee statement" and "criticizing statement." In the brainwashing center, she was handcuffed behind her back and hung onto a window frame for an entire morning because she did the Falun Gong exercises. After she was released, her whole body was weak and limp.

In 2003, Ms. Min 's older daughter was taken to the brainwashing center again. There she was threatened and intimidated. She protested the persecution. When she fell down and broke her leg, she could not take care of herself, and the brainwashing center had to release her. After she returned home, Jiang Peilin, the CCP's former secretary of Anting Primary School, tried to force her to resign from her job, but she refused it. With her steadfast belief in Falun Gong, she practiced the exercises whenever possible. Now she can walk again and has almost recovered completely.

In 2005, all five of Ms. Min's family members were arrested. Male members were held in the Jiading Detention Center, female members in the Baoshan Detention Center. The older daughter and her father were released 20 days later. They had to pay a fine of 10,000 yuan. The other three members have been detained for more than eight months. The younger daughter's child, only two years old, is now living with her 70-year-old grandparents.

Mr. Cheng Peiming, who is detained in Daqing Jail, has now been on a hunger strike for 36 days. His life is hanging by a thread, and he cannot take in anything when he is force-fed.

Mr. Guan Zhaoqi and Mr. Jin Sheng, who are also hunger striking, are very weak, Mr. Guan's stomach was injured from being force-fed and he started vomiting blood. As a result, he cannot accept any tube for force-feeding. The person who force-feeds him forces open Mr. Guan's mouth everyday to force-feed him. His situation is critical.

On the afternoon of February 28, 2006, people from the National Security Group affiliated with the Engineering School went to arrest Mr. Zhao Jianping at his workplace. He was arrested was because he was surfing the Internet and the secret police on the Internet tracked down his IP address.

On November 3, 2005, Mr. Jiang Guobo from Weifang City, Shandong Province, was arrested and sent to Changle Forced Labor Camp. Wardens have been treating him as a major target for persecution and have detained him in solitary confinement, where he is unable to have any sunshine. The room is dark and tiny with no air circulation. Even the air inside the room is rank. This solitary confinement is often used by the forced labor camp to punish steadfast practitioners. Mr. Jiang Guobo is still on a hunger strike to resist this persecution.

Mr. Zhou Yingjie, about 40 years old, is an employee of China National Books Trade Company, and he works at the Importation Center for Books. On February 26, 2006, he and his wife were taken away by police officers.

In early October 2001, at about 11 o'clock at the Anyang City Bus Station in Henan Province, a practitioner boarded the train leaving for Beijing. On his way, police officers from Anyang City Railway Police Station irrationally demanded every passenger who was about to board the train to swear at Falun Gong and Teacher. The practitioner didn't cooperate with their demand, so he was arrested and sent to Anyang City Railway Station on the same night. He was detained at the Anyang City Detention Center.

The police officer there would not allow him to do the Falun Gong exercises. They said that if he did exercises, they would handcuff him behind his back. One week after he was released, he returned to work. People from the 610 Office at his workplace and the Security Department continued persecuting him. They illegally searcged him, robbing him of 2,400 yuan. They also collaborated with police officers from Tiexi Police Station at Nanyang City to detain him at the Nanyang City Shangzhuang Detention Center. Police officers from Shangzhuang Detention Center instigated criminals to use a washbasin to pour water over his head, kick him, and not allow him to do the exercises. The criminals also defamed Teacher and tried to force practitioners to write the so-called Repentance Statement.

Practitioners Ms. Wang Hanmin, Ms. Guo Huanyuan, and Ms. Song Chunmei were detained at the Ezhou City No.1 Detention Center and were tortured. Practitioner Ms. Liu Xiuying, who was arrested about the same time as the other three, was sent to Tangxunhu Brainwashing Center in Wuhan City, Hubei Province.

It was said that the 610 Office in the Egang Group in Hubei Province and the 610 Office in Ezhou City would collectively set up a brainwashing center around October 2005.

12. [Panshi City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zhan Shuqing Arrested

On February 27, 2006, practitioner Ms. Zhan Shuqing from Jiguanshan Village, Yantongshan Township, Panshi City, Jilin Province, was arrested by police officers from Yantongshan Township Police Station. She is currently detained at Panshi City Detention Center.

On February 5, 2006, I went to Masanjia to visit several practitioners. In the No.3 group of the No.3 team, the practitioners collectively went on hunger strike. They also refused to wear jail uniforms and resisted all kind of persecution. Now the wardens refuse to allow their families to visit them.

Mr. Tang Senyin, who is a retired employee of the Sichuan Province Workers' Rehabilitation Center, was reported b when he was clarifying the truth at Yibin. After he returned to Chengdu City on February 24, 2006, at 8 p.m., he was arrested at home, and sent to Yibin for detention.

At 10 p.m., on February 26, 2006, Mr. Liu Lixin, Mr. Zhao Xiang, Ms. Xu Fengxiang, and Ms. Wu Guirong were arrested by police officers who planned and took collective action. Nobody knows Mr. Liu's whereabouts.

Mr. Zhao Guangjun managed to escape with his family's help. Mr. Yang Yusuo and other practitioners are still in custody.

On the afternoon of February 28, 2006, police officer Li Guomao, who is from the National Security Group in the Wulanhaote City Police Bureau, led about five people to to Ms. Li Guimei's home, which they ransacked. Although they didn't find any criminal evidence, they still arrested Ms. Li Guimei again and sent her to the detention center, leaving her seven-year-old daughter home alone with nobody to take care of her.

Shaoguang City Alliance Chemical Group Limited Corporation has been persecuting Falun Gong practitioners working in its corporation for the past few years. They have adopted such means as illegal detention, termination, and withholding salaries to persecute its practitioner employees. Some practitioners' salaries were halted for a few years in a row and others were evicted from their residences, so they had to leave home and go from place to place. Some were sent to the brainwashing center or forced labor camp, where they were tortured both mentally and physically. Some were even tortured to the point that they became mentally disordered.

Mr. Gao Youhai was detained at Changle Forced Labor Camp for two years and nine months, ever since October 13, 2003. When he was released, he was mentally disordered. He now has serious headaches, is unable to sleep, and has lost the ability to take care of himself. On April 2003, the Shouguang Alliance Chemical Industry Group Limited Corporation fired him.

On December 20, 2005, 40-year-old Ms. Shi Yuhua, 59-year old Ms. Zhang Zhuntao, and 42-year-old Ms. He were arrested by Chief Long Jihai and police officers Ma and Luo of the Huchengxiang Police Station in the Wuling District of Changde City.

The next day, Ms. Shi Yuhua was secretly transferred to the Anxiang Detention Center, and at 8 p.m. on the 14^th, she was transferred to Jing City Detention Center. She has been on a hunger strike since then and, as a result, is very weak. Ms. Zhang Chutao was detained at Shimen Detention Center and nobody knows of her whereabouts.

On February 23, 2006, when practitioners Mr. Li Tingjun, Ms. Shi Yuhua, Mr. Li Kezheng were having lunch at home, spies from the National Security Group broke into their homes and arrested them.

Recently, when Ms. Guo Yingchu was reported clarifying the truth at Lihua Shopping Center, people from the local community management committee led people from the National Security Group to her home to ransack her home and arrest her and other practitioners. These practitioners were detained at Miyun Detention Center.

Around February 20, 2006, practitioners Ms. Yang Guofang and Ms. Zhao Fangliang, both 60 years old and from Nian Village, Shiqiao Township, Jianyang City, were reported when they were handing out truth-clarification materials. They are currently detained at Jianyang City Detention Center. The police officers from Shiqiao Police Station then illegally ransacked the two practitioners' homes.

21. [Lufeng County, Yunnan Province] Ms. Xiufen He Arrested.

Ms. He Xiufen from Jinshan Town of Lufeng County, Yunnan Province, was arrested when clarifying the truth on February 22, 2006.

22. [Acheng City, Heilongjiang Province] Imprisoned Practitioners Still Jailed in the First Detention Center

It has been 51 days since a group of practitioners were arrested on January 9, 2006. They were reportedly caught by local villagers while spreading truth-clarifying materials in Yongyuan Town and have been detained at the Acheng City First Detention Center ever since.

Mr. Lao Bian from Boai County was a volunteer contact at the county exercise site. When the Chinese Communist Party initiated the persecution on July 20, 1999, he did not give up his firm faith in Falun Gong. He and his wife, Ms. Bage, also a Falun Gong practitioner, were arrested and detained by the police from the county public security department and national security group several times. During the persecution, his wife suffered a stroke and is now back at home. Before the Chinese New Year, Mr. Lao was sentenced to three years imprisonment and sent to a prison in Zhengzhou to suffer further persecution.

After Ms. Yang Yazhi was arrested at home, police officer Peng Xu greedily asked her family for 20,000 yuan. After discovering that Ms. Yang's family subsisted on an income from a small business, he decided to ask for only 4,000 yuan.

Two sisters, Ms. Zhang Qunying and Ms. Zhang Hongqun, were arrested by the Shifang Detention Center after stating to an elderly woman in ShiFang, "Falun Dafa is good. Zhen-Shan-Ren is good!" On the second day, Ms. Zhang Hongqun was brought back by Zhou Quan and Yang Ping from the 610 Office of Pi County and then brutally beaten by Quan Zhou. On the second day, she was released.

At around 9 o'clock in the morning on February 28, 2006, Ms. Liu Zhenxi, around 45 years old, was arrested near the Jilin Yanji Health School. At around 3 o'clock in the afternoon, policemen arrested Ms. Sun Zelin, around 60 years old, at her home. Two other practitioners have lost contact with the women.

Mr. Zhao Chunlong from Shijiazhuang City was employed at Hebei Television Station. He was arrested at home by the Qinyuan Street Station around February 7, 2006, and is being held at the Shijiazhuang First Detention Center. It is said that Mr. Zhao is facing a lawsuit.

Around 1 o'clock on February 28, 2006, policemen from Shuanghe Town Police station of Yongji County in Jilin Province broke into Ms. Liu Li's home in Chuanggang Village, Yongji County. Ms. Liu was arrested, and a computer, printer, and some auxiliary materials were taken. At that time, Ms. Liu's husband was in custody in the hospital. Her son dares not return home due to fear.

Around 11 o'clock in the morning on February 27, 2006, Zhu Zhaohong, Director of Police Station of Xiyang Town, Yongji County, Jilin Province, led policemen Yuan Yuepeng and Liang Shouqian to break into Ms. Hao Shuping's home in Pear-Tree Village, Xiyang Town. At that time, Ms. Hao was reading a Falun Gong book. They took the book away. Ms. Hao managed to escape. They forced Ms. Hao's father-in-law and mother-in-law to finish a guarantee statement, saying that Ms. Hao's parents would restrict her activities. Then they left.

Around 4 p.m. on February 28, 2006, Zhu Zhaohong, Director of Xiyang Town Police Station, led policemen Yuan Yuepeng and others to break into Ms. Yu Xiuhua's home in Dagangzi Village, Yongji County, and arrest her. Ms. Xiuhua's four-year old child was left alone with the child's father, who has to go to work everyday.

Since February 28, 2006, the Haiyang Road Elementary School has been broadcasting contents stigmatizing Falun Gong at 2 o'clock in the afternoon everyday. The contents, including propaganda about the self-immolation, were read by students. Zhang Xinyue was on duty March 1. According to an information resource, the Qinhuangdao Bureau of Education ordered all elementary schools to broadcast contents stigmatizing Falun Gong.

Ms. Yang Suwen was arrested at home at 9 o'clock on February 27, 2006. Her home was raided.

In the morning on March 1, 2006, Ms. Guo Lijuan was traced to the Taihe Electronics City. Special agents from the Public Security Sub-Bureau of Shijiazhuang Qiaoxi District arrested her and raided her home. Meanwhile, Ms. Hu Yanxia's home was also ransacked.

It is said that Ms. Guo Lijuan escaped capture in the afternoon when she was undergoing a medical examination in the Gongan Hospital. There is as yet no word on Ms. Hu Yanxia.

Around 2 o'clock in the afternoon on February 24, 2006, seven or eight men from the Xinzhongyi Police Station broken into Mr. Yan Hulin's home and took him away. Mr. Yan's child asked to accompany his father and was taken to the police station as well. Mr. Yan remains jailed in the police station near Changxindian Town in Renqiu.

Falun Gong practitioners jailed in the HuaKang Hotel in Langfang were transferred to an unknown place in the northern section on the afternoon of February 28, 2006.

On December 30, 2005, Ms. Shuqin He from Xiguan Village of Chengguan Town in Yanqing County and Ms. Xiuhua Meng from Wuliying Village of Zhangshanying Town in Yanqing County went to Zhangshanying Town to clarify the truth. They were reported to officials and arrested.

On February 24, 2006, Ms. Changyue Song from Shiheying Village of Chengguan Town in Yanqing County was arrested at home.

On February 25, Ms. Huiying Zuo from Xiguan Village of Chengguan Town in Yanqing County was arrested by seven plainclothes police officers lead by Zhenhua Ding, Director of the Women's Committee of the Village.

On February 26, Ms. Yulian Lu from Hongshiwan Village of Qianjiadian Town in Yanqing County was arrested by Qianjiadian Police Station.

On February 27, 2006, Ms. Zhenying Guo, an employee of the Yanqing County Immunization Station, was arrested by policemen at her home.

All practitioners jailed in the Second Yeam of Masanjia Forced Labor Camp took off their uniforms on November 18, 2005, and were persecuted accordingly. No food was provided for two days and practitioners were not allowed to use the restroom. They were forced to use a washbasin as a toilet and were not allowed to dump their waste but instead had to keep it in their rooms. When one practitioner tried to break into the restroom, he was dragged to the storeroom and brutally beaten by collaborators and guards and then sent back to his room. Another practitioner was handcuffed in the storeroom for three or four days and brutally beaten. Finally, he was put into his uniform against his will and then sent back to his room.

One week later, the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp sent six or seven men wearing police uniforms without badges to force practitioners to wear the prisoner uniforms. Most were forced to wear them, although a few practitioners insisting on not wearing them and were sent to the Zonghe Building, where they were brutally beaten. Two practitioners still refused to wear the uniform. One was beaten until her mouth was full of blood and finally she relented. She smeared the blood from her mouth onto the uniform. Then the camp authorities accused her of "showing evidence of persecution" and made change her prisoner uniform. Another practitioner was so brutally beaten that she was not able to walk without another's support. When having a meal, nobody was allowed to bring food for her, and she was forced to go to the dining room by herself. If she refused to go, she would be "staging a hunger strike" and would then be force-fed. She needed help to walk down to eat.

Ms. Li Peng, also named Yue Wang, is around 29 years old. She is from Liaocheng City, Shandong Province, and graduated from Liaocheng Normal College. In 2004, she was admitted to Shanyang Normal University to pursue her Master's degree. On March 5, 2005, in the first year of her graduate program, she was arrested on her way to visit friends in Beijing. She is jailed in the Fifth Team of Hebei Gaoyang Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Yequan Li has been fighting against the persecution by staging a hunger strike since the day he was arrested and sent to the forced labor camp. He has been suffering brutal force-feeding everyday.

On February 24, 2006, Mr. Jingdong Cao was brutally beaten by Qingshan Han, chief of the management section. Mr. Zhilin Zhang, after being transferred from the Second Team to the Third Team, was so brutally beaten that his head was swollen and misshapen.

In the autumn of 2004, the Education Bureau of Tonghua County and the Beijing Future & New Century Institute for Education Research published the Safety Education Textbook for Middle and Elementary Schools. On pages 69 to 77 of Chapter 7: "Campus rejects X religion," the contents include items which slander Falun Gong. These items were borrowed from the television program, "Focus Interview."

It is said that the Ziyoudalu Police Station :illegally arrested" several elderly practitioners in broad daylight on March 1, 2006, and illegally raided their homes, taking away Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party CDs and truth clarifying flyers.

Because Ms. Gao Huifang took care of Ms. Liu Ying, a practitioner from Qinglongchang in Chengdu City who had been persecuted until she was mentally disordered, Ms. Gao was arrested. She was jailed and is being detained at a brainwashing center. She had previously been cruelly tortured in the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp. Ms. Gao Huifang's father is paralyzed.

In the beginning of December 2005, residents of the Bali community in Chengdu City reported Mr. Du Jie to the authorities for clarifying the truth. The Taoxi-Road Police Station and Taoxi-Road Community Street Office sent out a few ordinary automobiles to Mr. Du's home, arrested him, and sent him to the Chenghua District brainwashing center. His family said that the Chenghua District brainwashing center does not allow him to meet with anyone.

Mr. Du was an employee of the Chengdu Locomotive Plant and was fired for practicing Falun Gong. He was jailed by Fawu Feng and other policemen from the Chengdu Erxianqiao Police Station of Chenghua Sub-bureau several times. He was sent to the Nanmusi Forced Labor Camp.

Mr. Li Faan, from Shiqiao Village of Dagushan Town in the Qianshan District of Anshan City, Liaoning Province, had been homeless since 2002. Around 10 o'clock in the morning on February 26, 2006, he was arrested by Xianqing Huang from the Dagushan Police Station and another security guard and jailed in Dagushan Police Station. Later, he was signed out by Zuogang Wang and another policeman and transferred to the first detention center of Anshan City for persecution.

In the evening on February 26, 2006, the Wuqing District Police Department conspired with the local police stations to arrest Mr. Lixin Liu, Mr. Jianming Fan's wife from Yang Village, and Mr. Xiang Zhao from Huanghuadian. They were jailed and sent to the Wuqing District Detention Center. That evening they also arrested practitioners Mr. Yusuo Yang and Mr. Yuyong Yang from Huanghuadian and sent them to the Wuqing District Detention Center.

Around 9 o'clock in the evening on February 20, 2006, five Falun Gong practitioners from Goutou Village of Zhaogezhuang of Niudaokou Town in Baodi District of Tianjin City were arrested and brutally tortured in the Baodi District Detention Center. Around midnight on 20^th, the practitioners' homes were all ransacked.

Mr. Li Wenjun from Jilin City is jailed at the Jilin Province Forced Labor Camp. Since July 13 2005, he has protested the persecution by staging hunger strikes and was tortured by brutal force-feeding. He was sent to the Jilin Gongan Hospital and then transferred to the Jiutai Forced Labor Camp. He has been having difficulty walking for quite a long time.

On February 24, 2006, Ms. Yao Guizhi from Tangshan City was arrested and sent to the Tangshan Chaoyang-Road Police Station. She was then transferred to the pre-judication office of the Tangshan Detention Center. Her whereabouts are unknown.

It has been confirmed that the people who were simultaneously arrested by the Beijing Police Department on the evening of February 24, 2006, included Ms. Dahua Liu, Ms. Liying Zhou, and Ms. Wei Su. Ms. Dahua Liu and Ms. Liying Zhou joined a trip called "Hong Kong Communications," organized by special agents who were then able to expose them. Although not on the trip, Ms. Wei Su was arrested because she kept in contact with collaboratoars Lixin Zhang and others. Additionally, contact with Ms. Haiying Zhao, also a practitioner and a driver working for their company, has been lost recently.

Recently, all police stations have sent out policemen to harass practitioners' homes or workplaces using various excuses. For example, they search for Falun Gong books and, if found, then arrest the practitioner.

On February 28, 2006, one practitioner was arrested and later released.

On December 16, 2005, Ms. Zhao Juanjuan from the Doumen District in Zhuhai City was arrested by the Zhuhai Doumen District 610 Office. Regardless of insubstantial evidence, the local public security office, procuratorial office, and courts illegally sentenced her to three years of imprisonment. She was transferred to Guangdong Women's Prison on February 23, 2006. On that day, due to suffering a serious disease and being unsuited for imprisonment, the prison refused to take her. They sent her back to the Doumen District in custody. She was then allowed to temporarily serve her term under house arrest.

On May 20, 2005, Communist regime agents from the Dalian City Development District Police Department, from the Huanghailu Police Station, the 610 Office and other government agencies arrested Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Hao Fukui. He was tortured for nine months at the Development District Detention Center. He slipped into a coma and showed symptoms of a stroke. His life is hanging by a thread. He was sent to the No. 3 Dalian Development District Hospital on February 27, 2006.

Three Falun Gong practitioners went to the hospital to rescue Hao Fukui and the police arrested them. They have also been sent to the Development District Detention Center. We hope all Falun Gong practitioners can act with righteous actions to help fellow practitioners break free.

2. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Police Secretly Arrest Practitioner Dai Xiaoping and Others

Recently police officers in Weifang City, Shandong Province secretly arrested several Falun Gong practitioners including Dai Xiaoping, Wang Jing, Gao Wenmei, Sun Xiuhua, Luan Xiuhong, and Zhuang Ping.

Dai Xiaoping's husband Mu Naiwu, a teacher at the Weifang Institute, was tortured to death on June 13, 2004. Their daughter, a high school student, is home alone. It was difficult for Dai Xiaoping and her daughter to live on their own due to financial difficulties, and now the daughter is devastated by her mother's detainment and her studies are severely affected.

Around 5:00 p.m. on March 3, 2006, the police arrested Falun Gong practitioner Tian Xingang in Longjing City. His current whereabouts are unknown. Some truth clarification materials were taken from his home.

Falun Gong practitioners Liu Jiting and his wife Fu Huajing from Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province were reported on the evening of March 6, 2006 while clarifying the truth at the Finance and Trade University. Their home was ransacked and they were arrested. They are now being held at the Hongqi Street Police Station.

5. [Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Falun Gong Practitioners Cao Jihai and Hong Litao Illegally Incarcerated at the Dayangshu Town Detention Center

Before Chinese New Year 2006, Falun Gong practitioners Cao Jihai and Hong Litao from rural Dayangshu Town, the Elunchun Autonomic District, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region went to clarify the truth in the surrounding area. Officers from the East Dayangshu Police Department, also called the Daxinganling Agriculture Administration Bureau, arrested them. They are now being held at the Dayangshu Town Detention Center. The police tried to force each of them to write a guarantee statement to renounce Falun Gong. They threatened to sentence the practitioners to three to ten years of forced labor if they refused to do so.

6. [Liaoyuan City, Jilin Province] Call for Falun Gong Practitioners to Rescue Fellow Practitioners

In the fall of 2005, authorities from the Liaoyuan City Police Department's National Security Group used underhanded tactics to arrest Falun Gong practitioners Liu Xinli and his wife Gao Zhihong who are now being held at the Liaoyuan City Detention Center. In January 2006, an elderly practitioner learned about the secret trial of practitioners Gao Zhihong and Liu Xinli and immediately told several other practitioners. Currently, the persecutors have yet to conduct the trial. We hope all practitioners in Liaoyuan City can form an indestructible body to rescue our fellow practitioners.

During the 2006 Chinese New Year, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Lei Xiuhua escaped from Hohhot Forced Labor Camp . Peng from the Camp went to Dayangshu Town in Elunchun Autonomic District, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region where Lei Xiuhua lived to investigate and arrest her.

In July 2004, Lei Xiuhua was arrested and sentenced to forced labor for clarifying the truth. Guards Guo and Peng, heads of Group 2, tortured Lei Xiuhua mercilessly for 18 months, often using electric batons. Lei Xiuhua's body was covered with wounds. They also deprived Lei Xiuhua of sleep for a long time. If she struggled, the perpetrators would handcuff her and hang her up for hours at a time. The handcuffs cut into her wrists. They also hung her up for three days and three nights. Lei Xiuhua had new scars on top of old ones. The gurads and collaborators took turns attacking her. Because they could not make her give up her belief, they pinched her. Lei Xiuhua's body was often covered with bruises.

8. [Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province] Police Arrest Falun Gong Practitioners Dai Zhifeng, Zhou Hui and Yu Yizhi

On March 2, 2006, officers from the Quanshan Police Department in Xuzhou City, Jiangsu Province arrested three Falun Gong practitioners from Suixi County, Anhui Province. They are Dai Zhifeng, Zhou Hui and Yu Yizhi.

Later that night the police went to the practitioners' hometown. They ransacked the practitioners' homes under the lead of the local "Stability Office," formerly known as the "610 Office." They took many truth clarification materials, computers and other equipment. They refused to tell the practitioners' families the practitioners' whereabouts.

On May 1, 2005, officers from the Quanshan Police Department in Xuzhou City arrested three woman practitioners from Suixi County, Anhui Province. They tortured the practitioners. Aside from other tortures, they used the Tiger Bench torture method for more than ten days. However, the authorities didn't get any of the information they were after. They lied to the practitioners' families, that the practitioners would be released if they gave money and extorted tens of thousands of yuan from the families. They did not release the practitioners as promised, but instead sentenced practitioners Shi Mengxia and Zhang Ping to three-and-half years and four years in prison, respectively.

Practitioner Su Qingling from Yanghe Town, Yongning County, Ningxia Province was sentenced to forced labor for clarifying the truth. In July 2005, police from Yongning County deceived practitioner Su Qingling into going to the Yinchuan City Detention Center after a large amount of Falun Gong truth clarification materials appeared in the streets, and they had no idea where they came from.

Su Qingling has been resisting the persecution. The most recent hunger strike started on March 7 and it has lasted 17 days. Su Qingling is emaciated and very weak. Falun Gong practitioners, please rescue fellow practitioner Su Qingling.

On March 2, 2006, Sun Linshi, Tiande Township deputy chief, colluded with personnel from the Township's Police Station and broke into practitioner Ms. Wang Yuxia's home. They took her into the Shulan City's Detention Center. Further investigation is underway.

On February 20, 2006, personnel from the Binbei Police Station arrested practitioner Ms. Zhao Ruizhen, an employee of the Shandong Province Shengli Oil Field. They ransacked her home and confiscated her computer and some other personal belongings. At present, Zhao Ruizhen is being held at a brainwashing class in the Department of Materials Supply.

During the morning of February 26, 2006, the police arrested practitioner Mr. Liu Heqing when he was delivering coal and put him into the Xiangtan City Jintangwan Detention Center. Police officers injected him with some unknown drug.

Last year, Liu Heqing walked out of Henan Province's Xinkaipu Forced Labor Camp. We hope practitioners could help him escape.

During the end of February 2006, several officers from the Dongjiao Police Station led by a policeman surnamed Fu arrested practitioner Mr. Dong Yunxiao from his home in Shijiazhuang City, Hebei Province. It was discovered that police confiscated a few boxes of Falun Gong books and materials, a notebook computer, and a multifunctional copier. At present, Dong Yunxiao is being held at the City's No.2 Detention Center. The police plan to submit Dong Yunxiao's case to a court for sentencing.

In addition, the police also arrested practitioners He, Hu, Liang Yening and Bai Caiping.

At around 7:30 p.m. on March 7, 2006, Wang Mingxue from Qinhuangdao City's Daonan Police Station and Li, a Residential Committee chief, went to ransack a practitioner's home in a coalmine dormitory. Practitioner Ms. She Hongyan has been arrested. Further information is under investigation.

Practitioner Ms. Liu Cuiyu from Fushun City, held at the No.6 Group in Liaoning Province Women's Prison was tortured so severely that her hands are disabled.

Practitioner Ms. Fang Huiyun from Fushun City, held at the 9th Group in Liaoning Province Women's Prison, was tortured so severely that she cannot walk.

Officer Chen Haixin, the 6th Group leader of the prison, brutally tortures practitioners.

Practitioner Chu Defu from Fushun City left home and lived in exile in Panjin City to avoid arrest by the local police. In 2003, personnel from Panjin City's National Security Group arrested him and secretly sentenced him to 11.5 years of imprisonment.

During Chu Defu's arrest, police ransacked his home and confiscated money and other personal belongings. Personnel from Panjin City's National Security Group even confiscated 36,000 yuan, which belongs to Chu Defu's father-in-law. He just sold his house and placed the money at his daughter's home for safekeeping. After repeatedly demanding the return of his money, National Security Group leader Zhou Laixin returned only 30,000 yuan. He refused to give back the remaining 6,000 yuan and didn't even give a reason. When they were confiscating the money, Chu Defu's father-in-law said in tears, "This is all the money I saved throughout my entire life. Aren't you looting?"

Chu Defu has been transferred to Jinzhou City's Nanshan Prison. For almost the three years since he was put into prison, the officials denied any his family member visits. Last fall Chu Defu was transferred to the Nanshan Prison. After his wife and child received this information they requested to visit him numerous times. All requests were turned down.

Personnel from the Qingdao City Court are attempting to secretly sentence practitioners, including Sun Hong and Min Huirong. The lawyer whom Sun Hong and Min Huirong's family members hired to defend them has given up his rights and responsibility under pressure from the Qingdao City Judicial Bureau.

On February 14, 2006, several criminal acts occurred in Tahe County, the Daxinganling Area, Heilongjiang Province. A person named Xu Feng, deputy director of Police Department and leader of National Security Group led eight policemen including Shi Wei. These Communist regime agents broke into practitioner Mr. Yuan Yanming's home at around 9:00 a.m. They ransacked the place and arrested Yuan Yanming. Later, at around 3:00 p.m. they arrested his younger brother's wife Ms. Tian Jinling, who is also a practitioner. On March 1, 2006, Yuan Yanming was sent to the Suihua City Forced Labor Camp.

Yuan Yanming, 45 years old, began practicing Falun Gong in 1996. In 2000 his employer, the Tanan Wanli Company, suspended his salary due to pressure from the Chinese Communist Party. He stopped practicing as well. In 2001, he fell off a roof while working and fractured three of his ribs. He had blood in his left chest cavity; a ruptured spleen, fractured a bone in his left shoulder bone, broke a lumbar vertebra and was paralyzed. He started to practice Falun Gong again and recovered without medical help.

His younger brother went to another city to find work. His sister-in-law was arrested. Their young child is left at home without care. Police extorted 700 yuan from them. All this has caused great harm to his family.

On March 3, 2006, personnel from the Linyuan Police Station in the Datong District went to practitioner Tian's home in Dawu Village, the Datong District, Daqing City. They arrested the practitioner and ransacked the place. It was said that they arrived in four or five police vehicles and confiscated all the Falun Gong books and materials. Further details are unavailable at this time.

Five practitioners detained in Xinchengzi District. Among them:
Mr. Liu Qingming and Mr. Wu Lexin are being held at the Shenxin Forced Labor Camp.
Ms. Lü Guoqin and Ms. Wang Min are being held at the Shenyang Prison (Women's Prison.)
Mr. Liang Zhihong is being held at the Anshan City Prison.

On March 3, 2006, a local security officer reported Ms. Liu Chunzhi from Changchun City to police while she was distributing truth-clarifying materials in Panshi City. She was later arrested.

During the afternoon of March 4, practitioners Ms. Gao Zhiqin and Ms. Jia Xiuyun were arrested and practitioner Liu Jinrong walked away. The two practitioners arrested were held at a local detention center and they were on a hunger strike to protest.

In order to attain the 100% reform rate, the Jilin Prison authorities brutally mistreated practitioners. On February 28, police put practitioner Tan Qiucheng into a tightly restrictive team to "reform" him. Policeman Li Yongsheng boasted, "Beat him at will, as long as he has breath!"

On March 3, 2006, personnel from the Haidian Police Department arrested practitioners Wang Jianlin and Dong Xuejun and their child and put the family into the Haidian Detention Center.

At around 3:00 p.m. on March 2, two strangers broke into practitioner Ms. Sun Guizhen's home in the Beiwalu No. 44 Yard, Haidian District. They cased the area, using the guise of conducting a safety check on the water and gas meter. About an hour after the two strangers left, a police car arrived at the community where Ms. Sun lives. Eight to nine plainclothes officers ransacked Ms. Sun's home. They found Falun Gong books and took pictures. Afterwards, they took Ms. Sun to the Haidian Police Department.

At around 7:30 p.m. on March 7, 2006, Wang Mingxue from the Daonan Police Station and Li, the Head of the Community Office and others broke into a practitioner's home in the Coal Plant residential compound. They ransacked the home. We know that Ms. Se Hongyan was arrested. Detailed information is unknown.

28. [Yangchun City, Guangdong Province] Practitioner Mo Yimei Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labor

On May 27, 2005, practitioner Ms. Mo Yimei and her sister Ms. Mo Yilian from Yangchun were arrested and held at the Sanshui Brainwashing Class.

Mo Yimei is determined to uphold her belief in Falun Gong and refused to be brainwashed; thus, on November 1, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor. The reason: another practitioner Ms. Li from Yangchun City confessed that Mo Yimei helped her buy a copy machine. Six policemen from Yangchun City and Sanshui City then ransack Mo Yimei's home, but found no evidence. But they still sentenced her to two years of forced labor based on Ms. Li's confession.

At present, several drug addicts monitor Mo Yimei around the clock. In June 2000, she was sentenced to two years of forced labor, but her term in Sanshui City's Women's Forced Labor Camp was extended by two months.

On February 20, 2006, policemen from Qinchun County deceived practitioner Sun Jiandan into opening the door. More than ten policemen broke into and ransacked the home. They confiscated Falun Gong books, a computer and other things. The police destroyed Master Li's picture and arrested Sun Jiandan. Later they extorted 7,000 yuan from Sun Jiandan's employer and sent Sun Jiandan to a brainwashing class in Wuhan City. Toward the end of 2004, Sun Jiandan had already been persecuted in a brainwashing class.

On March 3, 2006, all the officers from each police station, community, and street committee were ordered to go through all rented homes to search for practitioners in a large-scale search action.

In 2004, practitioner Ms. Pan Deqing from Shanghai was again illegally arrested, detained and secretly sentenced to four years of imprisonment. Currently she is being held at the Songjiang Women's Prison. Every day she is forced to do heavy labor. She is forced to read and listen to brainwashing materials and deprived of sleep and not allowed to bathe.

Last year, Pan Deqing's mother went to visit her but she almost couldn't recognize her daughter. Pan's weight dropped from 70 kg (154 lbs) to less than 45 kg (99 lbs). She is in very poor condition. She has been tortured to unconsciousness seven times within a month. Her mother was in deep sorrow.

During the morning of March 6, 2006, personnel from the Luan County Police Department broke into practitioner Mr. Shen Fu's workplace and arrested him. During the afternoon, police called Mr. Shen's family, telling them that Shen Fu would be detained ten days and fined 500 yuan. The family asked for the reason for the arrest, but the policemen could not give a clear answer.

33. [Yueyang City, Hunan Province] Zhang Zhengliang, Communist Regime Agent Employed at the Changling Oil Refine Factory Persecutes Practitioners

During the middle of October 2005, practitioner Ms. Huang Juxiu from Yueyang City was detained at the factory. Agent Zhang Zhengliang is responsible for the illegal detention. Huang has been transferred to the Huarong County Detention Center in Yueyang City.

Around March 3, 2006, several people passed by the two Beijing Stations and saw Master Li's pictures placed on the ground in both stations. Every traveler was forced to step on the picture; otherwise, he/she would be arrested as a Falun Gong practitioner. They witnessed a lady carrying a baby who would not step on the picture. The police did not let her go and forced her to step on the picture.

During The Two Conferences, the police put Master Li's photo on the ground at the road conjunction between Zhangjiangkou City to Beijing. They tried to find practitioners this way so as to prevent practitioners from going to Beijing.

In some villages around Jimo City in Shandong Province, police installed surveillance cameras in some main streets. Practitioners who clarify the truth: please pay attention to safety!

On January 24, 2006, Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Yang Xiuzhen from Hongkou District, Shanghai City was arrested from her home by district 610 Office agents and detained for one month. Her daughter had a heart attack due to being suddenly threatened. The lawless officials are closely monitoring her activities by her door and storm into her home frequently.

Ms. Yan Xiuzhen, 57, had a late stage breast cancer operation. She was lucky enough to begin to practice Falun Gong in 1997, and Falun Gong gave her a second life. After July 1999, she went to Beijing to appeal three times, and kept doing Falun Gong exercises at the group practice site and telling people that Falun Gong is good. She was arrested in 2000 and sentenced to three years of forced labor. In November 2005, she was arrested and detained for another month in the local police station.

At around 5:00 a.m. on March 7, 2006, a group of police officers tricked a practitioner's elderly parents into letting them inside their home, whereby they perpetrated crimes against the family. Li Guoqiang from the Political and Security Division of the Shijiazhuang City Police Department, Wang Guoping, deputy head of the Hedong Police Department, local police officer Yang Yuliang and several other police officers went to the home of Huang Wei's parents and tricked them into opening the door. Once inside, they ransacked the house. Huang Wei's mother, in her 70s, trembled in fear and nearly passed out in fright. The police ignored the elderly couple and the children and looked through everything. Only after Huang Wei's whole family assertively confronted the police did they refrain from arresting Huang Wei.
