Falun Gong Practitioners filed a lawsuit against top CCP official Jia Qinglin in the Ukraine Supreme Court for his crimes of genocide, torture, and active participation in the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The lawsuit was filed while Jia was visiting Ukraine.

Falun Gong practitioners protest Jia’s visiting and explain the fact to people in front of Chinese Embassy

On October 31, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners filed a petition against Jia to Ukraine Supreme Court in Kiev. Jia was Secretary of Chinese Communist Party Committee in Beijing and now is Chairman of National Committee for Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference. The petition was filed by a woman practitioner from China.

To protest Jia’s persecution of Falun Gong, on October 27, Falun Gong practitioners in Kiev held an event across from the Chinese Embassy. The protesters pointed out that Jia participated in killing, torture and genocide of Falun Gong practitioners in China.

"This person is a true criminal! Both his hands are full of practitioners’ blood. We wish that the Ukraine government will realize what kind person he is and not overlook human rights when facing commercial interests!"

Falun Gong practitioners held banners worded "Falun Dafa, Truth-Compassion-Tolerance" and "CCP forcefully harvests organs from living Falun Gong practitioners for profit". They also distributed flyers and demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises.

"Though the persecution of Falun Gong occurs in China, it interferes with me living in Ukraine. I often see the lies from the Chinese Embassy slandering Falun Gong. I wish that my country can take a bold step to condemn such inhuman persecution." said a practitioner from Ukraine.

Jia’s crimes have been under investigation by the World Organization to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong (WOIPFG). WOIPFG verified that Jia actively participated in the perception of Falun Gong initiated by Jiang Zemin since July 20, 1999. When he was Secretary of CCP Committee in Beijing, he directly participated in and was responsible for illegal imprisonment and torture of numerous Falun Gong practitioners. He is a main culprit for the persecution of Falun Gong. Sine September 2004, he has been sued in Austria and Spain for his crimes of genocide and torture.

Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group recently released the appeal of UN Special Rapporteur to the Singapore Government regarding the unlawful imprisonment of two Falun Gong practitioners.

"886. On 3 May 2005 the Special Rapporteur, jointly with the Chairperson-Rapporteur of the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, and the Special Rapporteur on violence against women, its causes and consequences, sent an urgent appeal concerning Singapore national NCH (F) 41, and Chinese national Ms. CLJ (F) 37, both Falun Gong practitioners. According to information received, NCH (F) and CLJ (F) were arrested and charged in May 2004 for having participated in an illegal assembly in February 2003 and for having distributed flyers and VCDs at the Esplanade Park in Singapore exposing the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. On 27 April 2005, the Court 39 of the Subordinate Courts in Singapore sentenced NCH to S$20,000 and CLJ to S$24,000 on charges including 'assembly without permit' and 'possession and distribution of illegal VCDs'. They both appealed the decision and refused to pay the fine, as a result of which the fines imposed were converted into prison terms: NCH was sentenced to 20 weeks imprisonment and CLJ to 24 weeks imprisonment. The two women were immediately taken to the Changi Women's Prison and had not, until the moment that this communication was sent, had access to a lawyer or been allowed visitors. NCH, who was not given the time to make arrangements for her six-month old baby girl whom she was reportedly nursing until then, had also been prohibited from seeing her child in prison. At the time this communication was sent, they had both been on hunger strike, in protest of the court decision against them of 27 April 2005 and prison authorities had reportedly threatened to punish them further if they continued their hunger strike."

In this year's annual session of UN Commission on Human Rights, Ms. Huang Chay Hua (NCH) specially went to Geneva and narrated the unfair treatment of Falun Gong in Singapore.

Holland Falun Dafa practitioners have been holding Falun Gong’s truth-clarification photo exhibit in front of the Peace Palace in Hague every Sunday. The Peace Palace is the place where the International Court of Human Rights is situated, which is the symbol of defending the world’s human rights and justice. This famous tourist attraction in Holland attracts people from various places around the world. With the photo display, more and more people come to know the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong. In particular, many tourists from China have overcome their fear of the Chinese Communist regime to further understand the facts about Falun Gong.

After 10:00 a.m. on the morning of October 22, 2006, some tour buses arrived one after another. An older Christian from Spain said after viewing the photos, "I have read the materials about Falun Gong in Spain. I really hope the persecution can be stopped as soon as possible. God bless you!"

Shortly, a bus load of Korean tourists came to the spot from France. As soon as they were taking pictures in front of the Peace Palace, some of them were attracted by the beautiful Falun Dafa music of "Pudu" and "Jishi." They came to the display boards and talked to practitioners, "We have come across Falun Gong practitioners in South Korea. We were touched by your being steadfast in your beliefs. May I have a picture taken with you in front of the International Court of Justice?"

The practitioner said "Certainly," and he gave them some Falun Dafa bookmarks. They accepted the bookmarks happily and said that they would visit the website on the bookmark to learn more about Falun Gong.

When two female Chinese students studying in Holland stopped by, they were surprised to find two Holland people practicing the Falun Gong exercises. They yelled out: "Look! Westerners are practicing Falun Gong."

They took out their cameras to take pictures of the practitioners. One of them said to herself: "This is quite a scene at the Peace Palace."

At about noon, a German tour bus carrying a group of tourists from China arrived at the Peace Palace. After the photo session, one of them asked a practitioner, "Why don’t you practice the exercises at home as opposed to practicing here?"

The practitioner replied, "Because this cultivation practice is really good, we want to share it with more people."

The tourist continued, "Why do you go to Tiananmen Square to make trouble?"

The practitioner said, "We have never made any trouble, and what we have done is nothing but explaining the facts of the persecution. The allegation of making trouble is a lie fabricated by the Chinese Communist regime."

The tourist asked, "Why do practitioners commit suicide?"

Knowing that this tourist had been deceived by the Chinese Communist's regimes propaganda of the Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation incident making Falun Gong practitioners appear to be people who commit suicide, a practitioner handed him a VCD explaining the facts about the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident and said, "It is a predestined relationship that you meet us here. Please view this VCD yourself at home, and you will understand what is really going on."

In the meantime, seeing a mid-aged woman hesitate to take the truth clarification materials prepared by practitioners, a practitioner explained the truth to her. Finally the woman overcame her fear, and took the materials at ease.

When a practitioner was explaining the facts about Falun Gong to a person from China, the Chinese person repeatedly nodded his head and whispered to the practitioner, "I support you. Go on with your good work."
