On September 30th, 2006, the European Falun Dafa Cultivation Experience Sharing Conference was successfully held in St. Petersburg, Russia. Practitioners from European countries including Russia, the Ukraine, Slovakia, Latvia, Poland, Israel, Germany, Britain, Switzerland, Sweden, and Denmark, as well as from Taiwan, gathered to share with one another their experiences in cultivating according to Truthfulness, Compassion and Tolerance, as well as their experiences exposing the persecution of Falun Gong in China.
The Chairman of the Russian Falun Dafa Association first made an opening address. He recollected Master Li's congratulatory message to the practitioners attending the conference in 2001. "Master said, 'You should communicate with students in other countries often, encourage each other, and progress together with diligence.' Today we are together with many other Falun Gong practitioners from other countries and areas, to share with one another our understandings. This is a very precious opportunity for us Russian practitioners. No doubt this conference will greatly inspire Russian Falun Gong practitioners. Master Li expressed his expectations for us. Through this conference, we will for sure learn something from others' experiences so that we can live up to Master's expectations and shoulder up our holy responsibilities. To fulfill our historical wish, we will work harder than usual."
During the conference, eighteen practitioners made speeches on the stage to share with other fellow practitioners their understanding and experiences of cultivation. They reported to the audience not only the enlightenment they experienced in the process of their personal cultivation, but also how they adopted various approaches to validate Falun Dafa and expose the persecution. Their speeches were inspiring and rich in content. Those who attended were mostly Western practitioners who have made continuous efforts to help people in their own countries understand the facts about Falun Gong. In addition, many Western practitioners have been working very hard to approach overseas Chinese blinded by the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) deceitful lies, to tell them the facts.
Just as Master Li said five years ago, "The people of Russia have been severely influenced by the propaganda from China's evil political group." Desperately struggling for its survival, the CCP used economic interests to bribe the Russian government. Being lied to and under the pressure exerted by the CCP, Russian government agents of all levels had no choice but to help the CCP with its wrongdoing. Prior to the conference, a group of Ukrainian practitioners were refused entry to Russia by customs officials on the Russian border for no specific reason. Also, practitioners from Sweden and other countries were denied visas for no reason. These serious incidents remind us that the task of clarifying the facts to people and the governments in Russia and other Eastern European countries will still involve hardships.
Three practitioners described their experiences on a trip to Eastern Russia. On their journey, they were subject to pressure and stern tests because the security departments concerned purposefully gave them a hard time. Victor, a practitioner of Russian nationality who lives in America, narrated his personal story. Before he made the decision to join the journey, a bird had knocked on his window at dawn every day for a week. Not until he decided to join the journey to the East did the bird stop knocking at his window. During his journey, he had been followed and monitored by the Russian police. Though under pressure, he still kindly talked to the police and staff of security departments who didn't know the truth about Falun Dafa and the persecution. After learning what was going on, they changed their attitudes. Victor visited tourist spots crowded with Chinese visitors to tell them about the persecution. The Chinese visitors to Russia were deeply shocked when they heard the facts. Through these unforgettable experiences, he came to realize that the bird knocking on his window had been anxiously inviting him, a Western practitioner, to Russia to tell people the truth about Falun Gong.
A practitioner from Israel shared how he deserted his stereotyped concepts in the process of coordinating efforts to validate Falun Dafa. He learned to trust his fellow practitioners and got rid of his attachment to validating himself.
A Russian practitioner talked about how he had learned to be selfless and handle his family relationship in the process of his personal cultivation.
A Slavic practitioner delivered a speech, entitled, "Take One Step Backward and View Problems from Another Angle." She described how she had managed to eliminate her attachment to her self-righteous viewpoints.
A Swiss practitioner talked about her efforts to enable people in remote mountainous areas to understand the facts about Falun Dafa. Mountainous residences were hardly accessible, but she finally overcame difficulties and delivered her self-made pamphlets to thousands of families.
Pan Shuzen, an Chinese practitioner living in Switzerland, talked about how she introduced the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to Chinese tourists at scenic spots, and encouraged them to quit the Chinese Communist Party. When commuting from her home to her office every day, she used the two-hour commute time to tell people about the persecution in China. Once, she used her personal experiences to tell a tourist about Falun Gong. She described how she had been transformed from a patient suffering from serious illness to a Falun Gong practitioner who is physically and mentally healthy and lives a happy life. After learning this, the tourist could not help saying, "Falun Dafa is good."
The conference came to a perfect ending, with all the
practitioners singing a song composed by a practitioner, entitled,
"Coming for You."
October 1st, 1949 was the day that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) took power in China by deceit and violence. Since then, the Chinese nation, which has five thousand years of traditional culture, beliefs and wisdom, has gone through a horrendous disaster. Throughout China, people have suffered tremendously. The values of humanity are twisted and morality has degenerated. The CCP's "party culture" has infiltrated and eroded Chinese people's souls. Furthermore, on July 20th, 1999, the CCP started its evil persecution against Falun Gong practitioners, a group of people believing in the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." The persecution is a campaign against humanity. With increasing exposure of their cruel torture methods, the Chinese Communist regime's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners has gradually aroused the indignation of people around the world.
The publication of the "Nine Commentaries on the Chinese Communist Party" (an editorial published by the Epoch Times newspaper) at the end of 2004 has triggered a huge wave of withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations among the Chinese people. With the powerful momentum of the campaign, so far there have been over fourteen million people declaring their withdrawals from the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

On September 30th, 2006, Falun Gong practitioners from Munich held an event at the Marienplatz Square in the downtown area to support the fourteen million people who have quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. As the Munich Beer Festival was coming to an end that weekend, and it was a fine autumn day, a large number of tourists from Germany as well as other countries around the world participated in the festival. Not only was people's attention attracted by the peaceful demonstration of the Falun Gong exercises, but they were also shocked by the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities. In particular, after viewing the reenactment of the Chinese regime's harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners, people accepted the informational materials about the persecution against innocent Falun Gong practitioners, as well as information about the great wave of withdrawals from the CCP. Many people also signed the petition to call on the German government to stop the Chinese Communist regime's inhuman atrocities.
"Where does our Master live?"
With the tireless efforts of practitioners worldwide clarifying the facts about Falun Gong, more and more people are now eager to understand Falun Gong. As soon as the practitioners arrived and started to unload materials from their cars, several Germans and Italians came over to ask for information. During the activities, some passersby who understood the fact of Falun Gong presented white roses to practitioners to show their support.
A lot of tourists were from China. Most of them viewed the display boards quietly, while some took pictures from time to time and others accepted materials exposing the Chinese Communist regime's persecution against Falun Gong and copies of the Nine Commentaries. With Falun Gong practitioners' steadfast belief in the principles of "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance" and tireless efforts in clarifying truth, Falun Dafa has been widely accepted and many people's attitude toward Falun Gong has changed fundamentally. When talking about the founder of Falun Gong, a man asked: "Where does our Master live?"
The Nine Commentaries has made the Chinese Communist regime very nervous
With the progress of the great tide of withdrawals from the CCP, the Chinese Communist regime has become more and more nervous. It has escalated its persecution against Falun Gong practitioners and other people from all walks of life. For example, the regime arrested attorneys Gao Zhishen and Guo Feixiong who openly appealed for justice for Falun Gong. Since the CCP atrocities of harvesting organs from practitioners was exposed last March, the party has intensified its process of destroying witnesses and evidence. On the other hand, the Chinese regime has remained silent or simply denied all of the charges in China, while it use the overseas media and websites under its control to discredit the Nine Commentaries and the movement of withdrawing from the CCP. The CCP has doubled its efforts to persecute the practitioners and human rights activists who spread the Nine Commentaries, and goes after the Chinese people who used their real names to quit the evil party and its affiliated organizations.
A Falun Gong practitioner in Munich, Dr. Huang Sifan, mentioned that five policemen ransacked her mother's home in Bejing last July and found two copies of the Nine Commentaries. The policemen claimed that they would send her mother to a labor camp. Her mother is in her 70s and happened to be hospitalized in critical condition when the incident happened. The policemen then went to hospital to arrest her. Stopped by her mother's doctor, the policemen took away her medical record. Since then, policemen have repeatedly harassed the family and forced them to sign a guaranty letter, promising not to allow her mother to leave Beijing or to leave home on her own. Dr. Huang also said that the Chinese Communist regime has been very nervous about the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party, and that from its treatment of an elderly woman in her 70s, we can see how evil and weak the Chinese regime truly is, in spite of the fact that it tries to appear to be strong.
Persisting in doing evil brings self-destruction
The Chinese Communist regime's ruthless and persistent persecution of Falun Gong has raised wide concern in the international society. After the exposure of the regime's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners in March, 2006, many politicians and human rights lawyers have expressed that they want to conduct independent investigations into this situation. More and more people have found that innumerable Falun Gong practitioners, without due legal proceedings, have been imprisoned in forced labor camps, prisons, hospitals and military institutions, where their organs may be removed for transplant for huge profits while they are still alive.
The Vice President of the European Parliament, Edward McMillan-Scott, made a special trip to Beijing last May to investigate China's human rights situation. He met two Falun Gong practitioners in Beijing who told him about how they were persecuted.
On July 6th, 2006, David Kilgour, former Chair of Canada's Parliamentary Subcommittee on Human Rights and former Secretary of State for Asia-Pacific, and David Matas, renowned human rights attorney, held a press conference in Ottawa, in which they released their "Report into Allegation on Organ Harvesting from Falun Gong Practitioners in China." The report confirmed that these organs-harvesting allegations are true.
Australia's ruling party and the largest opposition party recently reached a cross-party consensus on calling for an independent international investigation into the Chinese Communist regime's atrocities of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.
On September 4th, 2006, the Swedish Christian Democratic Party, the Leftist Party and the Environmental Party released a joint statement: "The CCP must stop stealing organs," urging the Swedish government to take up a position with other countries in the European Union, European Parliament and the United Nations, to pressure the CCP regime to immediately open all prisons, labor camps, detention centers, hospitals and mental facilities used to detain Falun Gong practitioners for international investigation.
On September 7th, 2006, the European Parliament unanimously passed an Amendment to the "EU-China Relations" Report, demanding the Chinese authority to release Falun Gong practitioner, Bu Dongwei, human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng, and other human rights defenders. The European Parliament also asked China to rescind the death penalty and not to intimidate, persecute and imprison human rights activists.
On September 28th, 2006, Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Peter McKay harshly criticized China for its human rights and democracy situations. This has been one of Canada's bluntest comments on China since the Conservative Party won in a federal election last January.
On September 29th, 2006, the U.S. Congress held its first hearing on allegations of the Chinese Communist regime's seizure of organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. Over 100 people, from congresspersons from both parties and their assistants, as well as others from the U.S. government agencies, think tanks and the media, attended the hearing. Senior Congressman Dana Rohrabacher of the House Committee on International Relations urged the U.S. government to take further action to stop these crimes.
As an old saying puts it, persisting in evil brings self-destruction. If the Chinese Communist regime continues its atrocious persecution against Falun Gong, it will eventually be abandoned by the world as a whole, and the CCP will soon be eliminated by Heaven.
A bill asking the Government Administration to provide a budget for activities related to investigating the Chinese Communist Party’s live organ harvesting crimes passed the Legislative Body of Taiwan on September 26, 2006. One of the legislators, Ms. Huang Chao-Shun, said on September 29 that the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) live organ harvesting practice is an inhuman practice. She believes that international organizations must get involved to investigate it. President of the Falun Dafa Association in Taiwan, professor Chang Qingxi, expressed appreciation for legislators who co-signed the bill.

Ms. Huang from the KMT party at first wanted to initialize the bill with legislator Lai Qing-Te from the Democratic Progressive Party, but it was put off due to lack of time. The bill received 108 co-signers from legislators from multiple parties.
Huang stated that taking organs from living people violates the ethics of medical science and international organizations, and violates human rights. She said that if we don’t deal with it actively, the number of living organ extractions and transplantations will increase quickly in the near future. This is a huge human rights issue. She said, "We hope that the international community will discuss it and be aware of it so as to eradicate such bad practices."
Another legislator from the KMT party, Mr. Chiu Ching-Chun, said that he was upset about the CCP’s live organ harvesting. He said that he knew that many patients went to Guangzhou’s hospitals to have organ transplant surgery. He requested that the Chinese Communist Party stop such activities immediately.
Legislator Yang Jen-Fu said that he would support any bill that was related to human rights. He said that the CCP’s behavior on organ harvesting is terrible, and all countries must pay attention to the issue.
Lai Ching-Te from the DPP party requested the Legislative Body to approve a budget for Taiwanese people to hear accurate information on organ transplantation. He said that using forcibly extracted organs from Mainland China to use on Taiwanese patients will hurt the country’s image in the world. Lai also requested the Legislative Body to invite members of the Canadian Parliament or others who investigated the case to visit Taiwan and help people to learn the facts.
From a website of the Chinese Organ Transplant Hospital, the waiting period can be as short as one week and the longest would not exceed one month. Many Taiwanese patients went to China to get transplanted organs. Huang said that the waiting time in Taiwan is long, but we can’t use such inhumane methods to facilitate the transplants.
Chang Ching-Xi said that it looked like China has organs for patients, but the doctors are killing to get the organs. This is the opposite of what a doctor should be doing to save lives.
Chang also agreed with Huang that the number of organ harvest cases would increase without intervention. He said that the CCP also realized that this business can’t last long, so they may want to sell more organs to cash in quickly.
Chang thanked the legislators from multiple parties for co-signing the bill. He said that Taiwan has valued human rights for a long time. After the bill is passed, he hopes that it will help pressure the CCP to address their human rights issues.
Chang also said that if the Legislative Body can invite the two Canadian investigators in this case to come to Taiwan, it will bring more accurate information to the Taiwanese people.
Ms. Wei, a Falun Gong practitioner, said that as the CCP’s crimes of organ harvesting are exposed to the world, if Taiwan's medical departments don’t properly provide accurate information to the Taiwanese people, it is a form of passively condoning the persecution. She said that the Government Administration should educate the people on this topic.
