Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Dai Zhijuan was the Senior Physician employed by the Dalian City Women and Children's Hospital in Liaoning Province. She had been arrested twice and taken to the Masanjia Forced Labor Camp, where she was subjected to all sorts of torture, such as being deprived of the right to sleep, forced to do heavy labor, injected with unknown drugs, etc. She was tortured nearly to death twice before being bailed out on medical parole. She died on December 21, 2005. Her husband Yang Chuanjun (also a Falun Gong practitioner) is now detained in Dalian City Prison.

Ms. Dai Zhijuan was 39 years old. After July 1999, she was detained five times and sent to forced labor twice for clarifying the truth and validating Falun Gong. In April 2000, she went to Beijing to appeal and clarify the truth. She was sentenced to forced labor, and was tortured in the Masanjia Forced Labor camp with beatings, sleep deprivation, and heavy labor. She was monitored by criminal inmates and injected with unknown drugs. Her physical body was severely damaged, so she could not take care of herself, and had to be bailed out on medical parole.

Ms. Dai Zhijuan's husband, Yang Chuanjun, was one of the chief volunteers at Dalian City's Falun Gong Assistance Center before the persecution. He is one of the main targets listed by local police departments, and has been detained many times. On April 24, 2002, Mr. Yang Chuanjun was arrested by Dalian City Chinese Communist Party (CCP) 610 Office officials and policemen, and Ms. Dai Zhijuan was also arrested at her work place. They were detained in the Yaojia Detention Center. On January 21, 2003, Falun Gong practitioners Mr. Yang Chuanjun, Tian Jun, and others were put on trial in a Ganjingzi District Court in Dalian City. Mr. Yang Chuanjun and Mr. Tian Jun solemnly declared to the Court that Falun Gong is righteous, and that Falun Gong practitioners are innocent. They also exposed how the local police fabricated evidence, and subjected them to electric baton shocks and cruel beatings for three entire days non-stop. Mr. Yang Chuanjun was about to show the bruises under his shorts to expose the evil torture, when the Court session was quickly ended. They later secretly sentenced Mr. Yang Chuanjun and others. Mr. Yang Chuanjun has been detained in Dalian City Prison.

Ms. Dai Zhijuan had been sentenced to three years of forced labor and detained in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp again. She went through inhumane torture which damaged her physical and mental health severely. She could not eat, and had to be bailed out on medical parole again.

On September 1, 2004, seven to eight policemen tried to arrest Ms. Dai and her mother and force them into police vehicles, but failed. They arranged four policemen to wait under their apartment building to closely monitor them. Ms. Dai Zhijuan had to become homeless to avoid being illegally arrested at home. Under long-term harassment and severe persecution by the CCP evildoers, Ms. Dai Zhijuan died on December 21, 2005.

Mr. Chen Wen, 75, was a Falun Gong practitioner from Huangzhou, in Hubei Province. About two or three months ago, he went to another town to clarify the truth and passed away there. There has been conflicting information about the cause of his death. Now, we would like to share some additional information about Mr. Chen.

Mr. Chen suffered severe persecution during the Great Cultural Revolution. He was once forced to jump from a third floor window. He was fortunate enough to survive the fall, but was jailed for about ten years. Later, he was released and got his job back, but his workplace only gave him very low pay, for which he always felt very upset. As a result, he often thought about how to get revenge. Hatred and anger filled his mind. At the end of 1995, he began to practice Falun Gong. Shortly afterwards, the many diseases that had been haunting him for years all disappeared, and his hatred and anger also went away without a trace. He seemed to have changed into a completely different person.

After the persecution started in July 1999, in June 2000 Mr. Chen went to Beijing to clarify the truth and was arrested in Tiananmen Square. In late June 2000, he was released and went back home. On the second day he went to a stadium to practice the exercises. As a result, he was arrested for "disturbing the social order." While in the detention center, he had to perform forced labor every day. He was made to move cement, sift sand and carry rocks. After his work unit bailed him out of the detention center, he was directly sent to a brainwashing class to be further persecuted. There, he was forced to stand in military poses in the burning sun all day long.

It was learned that Mr. Chen decided to go to Yingcheng to clarify the truth on July 20, 2005. Before his departure, one practitioner ran into him on the street. Mr. Chen told the practitioner that he planned to go to Yingcheng. Realizing that he was at an advanced age and the weather was very hot, that practitioner thought about persuading him to choose another time to go there. However, Mr. Chen seemed to be in very good health, and his spirits were high, so that practitioner eventually did not stop him.

Mr. Chen had a relative living in Yingcheng whom he planned to visit. He also had a friend living in a town about 10 miles from where his relative lives. It was known that he got off the bus in his friend's town before heading to his relative's place. Not long after, the Yingcheng police notified the Huangzhou police that Mr. Chen had fallen to his death in a rural area, with lots of truth-clarification materials with him. Someone who saw Chen's body said Chen's face was blue and purple, but it was not apparent if there were more wounds under his clothes.

There is speculation that Mr. Chen was beaten to death by the people who tailed him. From what we have learned, there is a high probability that Mr. Chen had been followed on his trip to Yingcheng. Mr. Chen's workplace knew everything about him. They knew that he went to two other places to clarify the truth before his trip to Yingcheng. They also knew when he left for Yingcheng and where he got off the bus.

As of now, Wang Xisong, Ouyang Ming, Zheng Zhong and Yu Fuxiang in Huangzhou have been persecuted to death. It is common that the local police arrest practitioners at will. Since September 2005, over ten practitioners have been arrested. Eight of them were sent to brainwashing classes. In October, Sun Shiqin was secretly arrested. On the afternoon of December 7, 2005, Zhou Jianxiang was working in her family-owned restaurant when three policemen headed by Xia Qiaorong broke in and took her away while her husband was not around. At present, Zhou is being detained in Huanggang First Detention Center.

Ms. Wang Yin, 36 year old from Jilin City, lost her job in September 23, 2005 when her employer yielded to pressure from the National Security Bureau. On the evening of December 13, 2005, Wang Yin and three other practitioners were arrested at the residence area of the Provincial Mechanical Factory in Changyi District, Jilin City. Her family requested her release, but were rejected. Wang Yin is still being jailed.

1. Wang Yin Nearly Died as a Result of Torture at Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp in 2001

Ms. Wang Yin was formerly a salesperson at Jilin Radiation Chemistry Industrial Company. She learned Falun Gong in 1997. After the persecution started on July 20, 1999, to appeal for Falun Gong, Ms. Wang did the exercises in front of the civic government building of Jilin City in early 2000. She was illegally arrested and detained for five days. On January 28, 2001, Wang Yin went to Beijing's Tiananmen Square to appeal for an end to the persecution, and was arrested and taken to Beijing Huairou Detention Center, where the authorities forced her to stand barefoot on the snow-covered ground. Ms. Wang was subsequently taken to Jilin City No. 3 Detention Center.

On March 1, 2001, Wang Yin was taken by Fan Yegang, the chief of the Political Security Section of Chuanying District Police Department in Jilin City , to the 6th Group of Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labor Camp. There, she was subjected to brutal torture. On March 27, six guards beat her: Wang Xiuyan first used an electronic baton to shock the back of her hand and her arm, and at the same time, kicked her to the ground numerous times. Then they decided to beat her in pairs. Guard Qu Wenfang and Jin Yingai forcefully pressed the electronic baton onto Ms. Wang's face and spun the baton constantly. Wang Yin's facial muscles convulsed and her neck and head shook as well. While Ms. Wang was enduring all this without even a moan, guard Jin Yingai yelled, "Take off her pants and shock her private parts." At the same time, the guards made other practitioners who refused to give in to watch how Wang Yin was being tortured. The guards used three electric batons and shocked Ms. Wang for two hours. Wang Yin's neck was so swollen that it became larger than her face, and was all black and blue.

On September 11, 2001, Wang Yin was transferred to Heizuizi Forced Labor Camp. She refused to wear the prison uniform and was therefore tied to the Death Bed in the storage room. Her hands were shackled to the upper two corners of the bed while her feet were tied to the other two corners. Wang Yin went on a hunger strike to protest this abuse, but was force-fed every day. They injected a tube of salt water through her nose. On the fourth day, the guard made a mistake and the salt water was injected into Wang Yin's lungs. She went into a coma and had to be taken to the Jilin Public Security Hospital emergency room, with her limbs still handcuffed to the bed. Her situation was so severe that the staff at the hospital notified her relatives to pick her up, for fear that she might die in the hospital.

On December 30, 2002, Wang Yin was at work when the Jilin City 610 Office of Gaoxin District, Gaoxin Police Station arrested her and brought her to the local brainwashing center. She went on a hunger strike to resist the persecution. Then, she walked away with righteous thoughts but had to leave home to avoid further persecution.

2. National Security Guards Broke Into Ms. Wang's Home Twice

On July 15, 2005, about two dozen policemen and staff members from the 110 Emergency Services, Jilin National Security Bureau, Xiangyang Police Station surrounded Wang Yin's home and were going to break in to arrest her. Wang Yin opened her window to talk to her neighbors, the police, and pedestrians, to clarify the truth. The villains were afraid of more people knowing the truth about the persecution, so did not break in right away. Two hours later, Wang Yin escaped from her home.

Wang Yin's employer was implicated. On July 15, National Security police forced her department manager to call Ms. Wang back to work. The manager said on the phone, "National security is after you." He was thus taken away for leaking "state secrets" until later at night, when he was released.

On the afternoon of July 17, police from the Jilin City National Security Bureau deceived Wang Yin's mother into opening her door by pretending to be someone collecting the water bill. As soon as she opened the door, they ransacked the place, taking away truth-clarification materials, a bank book for her company, her personal bank book, two cell phones, the children's external memory key, and the family's address book, among other personal items. As result, Wang Yin was forced to leave home again to avoid further persecution.

On December 13, 2005, around 4:30 p.m., Wang Yin and other three practitioners were surrounded by police on the Seventh Floor, Unit 2, Building 1, of the Provincial Mechanical Factory Residence, Changyi District, Jilin City. The police broke in around 7:30 to 8:00 p.m., and Wang Yin and the other three practitioners were arrested.

3. Family Requests her Release, but Are Rejected

When Wang Yin's family heard about her arrest, they went to the police station to ask for her release. The police officer said, "This is very complicated. It is under the jurisdiction of the National Security Bureau of Jilin City. We have no control." At 10:00 p.m. her relatives went to the National Security Bureau at No. 59 Songjiangdong Road to ask for Ms. Wang's release. The security guard said that nothing like that ever happened. At the persistent request of her family members, the security guard made a phone call and was heard talking on the phone, "Her relatives are here. What do I do?" However, when he hung up the phone, he said there was no such thing as Wang Yin's arrest. Wang Yin's relatives and her 72-year-old mother stood in the snow in minus 26-27 degree Centigrade [-15 or 16 degrees Fahrenheit] temperatures, but did not receive any news about her. They had no choice but to go home.

On the second day, before the National Security Bureau opened, Wang Yin's eleven family members were there. The security guard first made a phone call and then told the relatives that none of the case workers were there. The family insisted, and in the end, department heads Zhang and Qian came to receive the relatives. Ms. Wang's relatives insisted that Wang Yin be released. Qian beat around the bush: "National Security staff does not beat people up. You should not worry. Last night, Wang Yin was uncooperative, but we did not even handcuff her."

While the conversation was going on, Qian received a phone call. Her family heard the conversation. Someone wanted to borrow an electric baton. Wang Yin's mother immediately asked if they were getting an electric baton to shock her daughter.

Qian tried to cover it up and said, "No, they wanted to borrow a flashlight, not an electric baton." Wang Yin's mother asked who would need a flashlight in broad daylight. Qian tried to drive the family away. "You will not see her today. She is not in this building." Then the family member asked "Where is she then?" Qian replied, "I cannot tell you." At noon, Qian again tried to drive the family members away and asked them to leave their phone numbers. The relatives discussed amongst themselves and decided not to leave until they had a definite answer.

After noon, no one talked to the relatives. At the persistent requests of the relatives, at 3:00 p.m. the security guard called the office. After a while, a department head, Li, came out, and said to the relatives over the window sill, "No arrest happened. You guys go home." Then, two police vehicles arrived. Li walked over with three police officers. A police officer named Gao Yang from Dongjuzi Police Station of Changyi district, Jilin City, interrogated Wang Yin's relatives: "Why are you here? Where do you live?" The family explained that they just wanted to know the whereabouts of Wang Yin and that the National Security Bureau refused to give a reply. As Li denied that anything happened, Gao Yang pretended to go ask. When he came back, he again suggested that the bureau was not aware of anything concerning Ms. Wang's case. The family pointed out that he was lying and Gao said that he would ask again.

After a long while, Gao Yang and Li finally came out. Li admitted that Wang Yin had been arrested, but said that she was transferred overnight and that they were just assisting other departments. Her family pointed out that the National Security Bureau is the agency that delegates these cases. Later they found out that Li is the one responsible for persecuting Falun Gong. Finally, the family asked for his cell phone number and Qian's cell number. Both of them said, "We cannot give you our names and phone numbers. You will immediately post them on the Internet."

Wang Yin's family waited from morning to night, but never received an answer about her situation. In the meantime, the security guards received several phone calls from the office asking if the relatives had left, and how many of them were there.

On December 16, 2005, at 8:40 a.m., six of Wang Yin's family members arrived at the bureau again. The security guard opened the window and told them, "We have received orders from the bureau chief that you cannot come in." Wang Yin's parents and her other relatives stood in minus 20 degree Centigrade temperatures [-4 degrees Fahrenheit] for over an hour to insist on seeing the people responsible. Finally, Li came out to receive them. Another practitioner, Bai He's mother, who had been waiting for a long time, also joined in.

Ms. Wang's family asked Li, "Why did you arrest Wang Yin?" Li said that she must have broken the law. "What law did she break? What you are doing is breaking the law." They further asked, "Why did you bring in the police from Dongjuzi Police Station yesterday?" Li was trying to find excuses for their actions.

Then, the relatives asked for the items the police had taken away when they ransacked Wang Yin's home: the bank book of the company with 1,500 yuan, two cell phones, her personal bank book, the children's external memory key and address book. They demanded the immediate release of Wang Yin.

A female Falun Gong practitioner was sent to a forced labor camp twice and her son was forced to drop out of school. Later her younger son was clarifying the truth of Falun Gong in a vocational school and was terrorized, becoming mentally disoriented. The following is their story.

I am 48 years old, living in Tangyuan County, Heilongjiang Province. Over 10 years ago, before I became a Falun Gong practitioner, I divorced my husband. After that, I had to struggle to raise my two children. I had many chronic ailments, but had no money for medical treatment. Falun Gong taught me to be a good person according to the principle of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance. Through practicing Falun Gong, my xinxing improved and I became healthy. I feel truly grateful for Falun Gong and Teacher. However, the Chinese Communist Party banned this great practice. Because of practicing Falun Gong, I was twice detained and sent to forced labor camps, where I suffered greatly.

At about 6:00 p.m. on January 14, 2001, local police station chief Li Yukui and five other policemen broke into my home with no legal grounds. They forced me into a police vehicle.

After arriving at the police station, a police officer named Deng Jian from the Political Security Section kicked me twice. Also, Zhou Tiangang slapped me twice on the face, but I was not afraid. I just told them calmly that Falun Dafa is good. But they did not listen. They tried to force me to tell them who else I knew that practiced Falun Gong. I told them nothing.

So the police started to torture me with all kinds of cruel instruments. They shocked me many times with electric batons on my head and all over my body, which caused me to feel dizzy and my blood pressure to go up. I had bruises all over my face and body due to the beatings. Lin Fengqiu, a deputy police chief, beat me so badly that he even felt pain in his arms. He claimed that the police would hire two workers whose regular job was to shovel soil to beat me. They said, "Our director told us, if you won't tell us about other Falun Gong practitioners, we will have you killed here."

I did not yield. The police then said, "I don't believe that I can't open your mouth." I was handcuffed onto the heating duct for five consecutive days and nights and endured all kinds of torture. My legs and feet were swollen. I could not even put on my shoes. There were so many blisters and wounds on my feet that I could barely walk.

When the police saw that I would still not tell them anything under such conditions, they were afraid of taking responsibility. The police captain, Fu Enlin, asked of the director, "Who will take the responsibility if she is beaten to death?" After that, they did not beat me as hard. I knew it was Teacher who was protecting me. The police then sent me to a detention center. After the Chinese New Year, they sent me to the Jiamusi Forced Labor Camp and detained me there for a year.

My older son was only 15 years old that year, but he also suffered because of the policy of "guilt by association." When I was in the detention center, he was also illegally arrested and taken to the police station. The police did not allow him to see me. Just for saying "Falun Dafa is good," the policeman, Fu Enlin, slapped him on his face over thirty times. His cheeks were swollen. The police even said, "If you were not a minor, you would be sent to the labor camp as well."

On May 10, 2002, Tangyuan County Police Department and 610 Office went to the villages and abducted people in order to fulfill their quotas. Thus, they took me away again with no legal grounds. I was sent to the detention center for the second time, after which I was sent to the forced labor camp for two years.

During my second detention in the labor camp, my two children, who were just students in junior high school, endured great suffering. They were both doing well academically and had good characters. Just because I practiced Falun Gong, they were forced to drop out of school and lost the opportunity of going to high school and college. After I was arrested, my two children had to leave home and suffered a lot. Their tender hearts were hurt greatly.

My younger son was going to a vocational school and he was doing very well there. One day a student asked him what Falun Gong was and what exactly the Tiananmen Square Self-Immolation was about. My son just told him the truth, "Falun Gong can help people to be healthy and teaches people to be good according to the principle of Truthfulness-Benevolence-Forbearance. The Self-Immolation on Tiananmen Square was staged by the Chinese Communist regime. Real Falun Gong practitioners would not do that..." But he was cursed and beaten by another student who did not know the truth. That student also threatened to tell the school authorities, and have my son expelled from school. He also notified the police to have him arrested. Because my son had the painful memories of my detentions and prior home invasions by the police, he was quite frightened and unnerved after he heard the threats from that student. As a result, he suffered mental trauma.

In the middle of April 2001, authorities at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp brutally persecuted and attempted to violently "transform" all the Falun Gong practitioners in their custody, and many of them were maimed. In the Number 201 Group, the wardens covered Falun Gong practitioners' heads with cotton quilts and beat them continuously with wooden clubs and stools. They slashed Falun Gong practitioners' faces with shoe heels, causing serious injuries to their faces and ears; many practitioners suffered hearing loss. The wardens shocked practitioners on their necks with electron batons, until their necks were so full of holes they looked like hornet's nests. The wardens forcibly tied up the practitioners' arms using steel wire.

Even more appalling, Falun Gong practitioners were forced to stand on stools, wearing handcuffs and steel wire wrapped around their arms and secured to the ceiling, and then the stools were kicked out from under them. As they hung from the ceiling, the steel wires quickly cut into their arms to the bone, and blood flowed down the wire. If they still refused the so-called "transformation," the wardens would grab the Falun Gong practitioners and yank them downward with all their strength; many of the practitioners' arms were permanently damaged.

Another torture method they use is to hang Falun Gong practitioners up so they can barely touch the floor, and cruelly beat and kick them. Their socks are removed, and if they try to stand up, the wardens burn their toes with cigarettes, which immediately begin to blister.

In the Number 204 Group, the wardens handcuffed Falun Gong practitioners by either one or both hands to the security grills on the windows, where they hung with their feet off the floor for several days. There were two or three people for each Falun Gong practitioner, keeping watch to make sure they didn't sleep. Many of the Falun Gong practitioners' legs became swollen, and their fingers were numb.

Many groups at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp brutally force-feed Falun Gong practitioners who go on hunger strikes. Criminals hold practitioners down on their beds and shove common plastic tubing into their noses. When they insert a tube they push very hard, after they put the tube in they abruptly yank it out again, revealing the bloody tube. They repeat the process several times. Even worse, they often push the tube in more than 40 centimeters, until it comes out the mouth. After the tube is inserted, they force-feed the practitioners with cold, high-density salt water. The practitioners who've been subjected to these force-feedings have suffered diarrhea for many days.

In the women's group, the wardens use electric batons to shock Falun Gong practitioners who refuse to be "transformed." Some weren't allowed to sleep for a month after this torture.

The Number 202 Group leaders mainly persecute Falun Gong practitioners using psychological methods, but sometimes they use violence. Once, a perpetrator used a wooden club to strike Falun Gong practitioners in the back of the head. Liu Lei is a squadron leader of the 2nd Group at the Shijiazhuang Forced Labor Camp, and Wei Mingxi was the group leader. Wei Mingxi mainly used torture to persecute Falun Gong practitioners.

1. [Liaoning Province] Ms. Dong Jingya, Ms. Sheng Lianying and Ms. Meng Guiqiu Are Being Brutally Tortured in Masanjia Forced Labor Camp

Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Dong Jingya, Ms. Sheng Lianying and Ms. Meng Guiqiu went on a lengthy hunger strike to protest the persecution at Masanjia Forced Labor and were brutally tortured by the guards.

Ms. Dong Jingya stayed on a hunger strike for more than seven months. She was force fed three times a day. The staff also beat her. Ms. Meng Guiqiu stayed on a hunger strike for eight months. She was also force fed three times a day and beaten. Ms. Sheng Lianying also went on a hunger strike and suffered from force feeding and beating. In the very cold winter they were locked in a room without any heat.. They were force fed, beaten, and made to stand outside in the cold every day.

The police and doctors who beat them include Gao Yuntian, team leader Tu, team leader Xie, Li Wei, Doctor Cao, Doctor Ni and Chen Bin.

2. [Xi'an City, Shanxi Province] Practitioner Ms. Wang Jinyun from the Beilin District Was Arrested and Sent to a Brainwashing Center

Falun Gong practitioner Ms. Wang Jinyun, 54 years old, is from the Beilin District of Xi'an City. On the afternoon of November 17, 2005, six police officers ransacked her home using a confiscation order from Yanta Police Department. They searched her home six times and found four copies of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party and some truth-clarifying materials. At 7:30 p.m., Ms. Wang Jinyun went home and was then taken to the Beilin Police Department. Team leader Yang from the Beilin Police Department made the decision to send her to the brainwashing center in the Chang'an District Worker Sanatorium. Her blood pressure rose very high from the brutal abuse she suffered at the center. She was sent to the Xi'an Ankang Hospital but is still in police custody in the hospital. She is extremely weak.

3. [Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province] The Sixth District of Xinglongxin Prison Brutally Persecuted Falun Gong practitioners

The guards at the Sixth District of Xinglongxin Prison in Mudanjiang City used electric batons on the heart and other critical parts of Falun Gong practitioners Xu Yan, Guan Lianbin and Gao Yunxiang, who firmly held their faith. The police overworked the three Falun Gong practitioners excessively and did not allow them to sleep. The police also locked them in separate rooms and incited the criminal inmates to brutally torture them in many different ways.

4. [Minfeng County, Xinjiang Province] Mr. Zhao Chunsheng Was Sentenced to One and a Half Years for Practicing Falun Gong

Mr. Zhao Chunsheng is from the Water and Electricity Bureau, Minfeng County, Xinjiang Province. His wages were cut from 1,200 yuan per month to 300 yuan per month because he practiced Falun Gong. Mr. Zhao had to leave his office and seek another job. In December 2005, the Minfeng County Police Station, the Political and Legal Committee, and some leaders in the Water and Electricity Bureau conspired to arrest Mr. Zhao in Yili State, Xinjiang Province. On the afternoon of November 4, 2005, Team Leader Chang Yubao of the National Security Team in Zhate Banner brought police to Jinzhou City. He worked with the Xijiao Police Station in the Taihe District of Jinzhou City to arrest the couple in Zhate Banner. Mr. Dai Pengfei was sentenced to two and a half years and Ms. Cao Zejun to three years in a forced labor camp. Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Wang Lianshu from Changchun City was a senior engineer in the Diesel Engine Plant of the Beijing Steel Corporation. He graduated from Shenyang Industrial University. He went to Beijing to appeal on behalf of Falun Gong in 2000 and was detained for 15 days. At the end of 2001, he was arrested by the Changchun City Police Department because he repaired equipment used by fellow practitioners to make truth-clarifying materials. He was imprisoned for a year at the Tiebei Detention Center. The trial in the Changchun City Intermediate Court was, according to Mr. Wang's family, conducted hurriedly, lasting only ten minutes. Changchun City Intermediate Court sentenced Mr. Wang to 13 years, but his family did not receive any official verdict.

During his illegal detention, Mr. Wang was taken to a torture room in Jingyuetan, Changchun City. The police tortured him by using the tiger bench, letting people step on him, and many other brutal punishments. Because he rejected the so-called "transformation," he was transferred from Jilin City to Changchun City. He is now in Siping Prison in Lishu District. He was strictly watched by the criminal inmates when his family visited him. He was locked in the "elderly and disabled area." On December 16, 2005, Falun Gong practitioners Ms. Qu Zhaoli and Ms. Sun Xiuli clarified the truth to the people at the Longquan Township rural fair at Tangxi Village, Longquan Town, Muping District, Yantai City, Shandong Province. Police from the Muping District Security Office and Longquan Town Police Station arrested them and ransacked their homes.

After a week, their family members went to the Muping District Security Office to ask for their release. The Muping District Security Office did not allow their families to see them. The Muping District Security Office also refused to tell the family where Ms. Qu and Ms. Sun are. Their families still have no information about where they are.

On April 6, 2005, Mr. Wu Shihai, a teacher in Zhaojue Minority Middle School, was arrested and taken to the Zhaojue Detention Center by police from the Zhaojue Police Station. He had been clarifying the truth of Falun Gong. He was brutally tortured until he was sent to the hospital for emergency treatment.
