On June 8, about 20 practitioners rallied in front of the Chinese Embassy to Malaysia to protest the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) for extending its persecution policy to Malaysia. A number of media outlets including Reuters, European Pressphoto Agency and New Tang Dynasty TV interviewed practitioners at the rally site.

Nine board members of the Falun Dafa Association Malaysia was charged by the local government for minor technical errors in organization operation on May 31, 2005, and practitioners believe that this trial is the result of the CCP's pressure to the Malaysian government. The association was accused of 6 charges, including failing to submit an annual organization report and not maintaining a complete member list.

The practitioners' lawyer said that these charges are far from reasonable and no one has ever been charged for these minor technical errors. Since the association has acknowledged these technical mistakes and paid a fine of 2050 Ringgit (~$540), the authorities shouldn't fine these 9 board members again.

The spokesperson of the Falun Dafa Association Malaysia said that the CCP had purposefully done these things to silence local practitioners, who have been trying hard to expose the truth of the ongoing persecution against practitioners in China.

As a matter of fact, the Chinese embassy has never stopped its activities to harass practitioners. In the past several years, the practitioners' three applications to establish a social organization were declined without any reasonable explanation because of pressure from the embassy. Practitioners have filed a memorandum to the Malaysian Human Rights Committee, who consequently showed concern on this issue.

Several Malaysian newspapers carried a number of reports on the interference of the Chinese Embassy that directly resulted in the related authorities declining practitioners' registration requests.

Before this lawsuit, the Malaysian Company Registration Bureau had threatened to close the Falun Dafa Association with all kinds of excuses, one of them being "state security."

Practitioners strongly protested the CCP's persecution, which has severely violated Malaysian practitioners' freedom of expression and belief. Practitioners also call on the Company Registration Bureau to rescind the charges against board members of the Falun Dafa Association.

From May 31 to June 3, 2005, the Truthfulness, Compassion Forbearance International Art Exhibition was successfully held in central London. The exhibition was displayed in a gallery opposite the British Museum, where tourists continuously pass by. The unique art exhibition attracted many people who enjoyed the artwork.

On the first day, as soon as the paintings were hung and ready for the gallery to open, visitors started arriving. During the exhibition, volunteer Falun Gong practitioners guided visitors around and explained the meaning and special story behind each picture. Visitors listened carefully and asked about Falun Gong and why it is being persecuted. They were shocked to hear about the terrible human rights abuses committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), and showed deep sympathy for Falun Gong practitioners. Meanwhile they could not understand why the CCP persecutes innocent people simply because of their belief in Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and could not believe such cruel methods of persecution are still used in our modern world.

Many visitors spent a long time viewing the pictures. One lady came to see the exhibition twice. She said the first time she came was on her lunch break and it was too much of a rush. So she came again after work to have a good look at the paintings. She said these pictures touched her heart deeply. One visitor showed great interest in Falun Gong and wanted to learn the exercises on the spot.

The art exhibition was very touching and had a strong appeal and effect on the visitors. At the opening ceremony, the vice chairman of the European Friends of Falun Gong (EFOFG) summed up the special appeal of the paintings: "These paintings are wonderful examples of beauty. The spiritual meaning in these works that the artists have painted reveals their inborn true natures, but they also portray the cruel persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the CCP and the universal principle that evil will be punished. They have been transformed from ordinary to extraordinary people by their steadfastness in the face of the evil persecution that many millions of practitioners have suffered, and the results of their new-found wisdom are for all to see here today."

Touched by the beauty of Falun Gong and the injustice of the persecution against the practice in China, Dutch musician Ton op 't Hof and a few other leading Dutch musicians composed several songs and compiled them into an album called 'Music Inspired by Falun Gong'. From the titles of the songs, it's obvious that the inspiration came from both the mystical aspects of oriental spiritual practices, which are so very present in Falun Gong, as well as the perseverance of Falun Gong practitioners that manifest in their efforts to stop the persecution they are suffering in China.

An excerpt from the introduction of the album:

"What makes Falun Gong extraordinary is that for some obscure reason the Chinese Government sees it as a major threat! In the last few years, since Falun Gong re-emerged in China in the early 90's the government there has done everything to suppress the growth of this practise, having exponents beaten, thrown in prison and and in extreme cases executed. Despite this there are now estimated to be at least 70 million devotees within the Chinese Republic.

Since the purpose of Falun Gong is purely to attain a level of spiritual well being coupled with a healthy body through exercise and meditation with no political or commercial aims (check their web-sites) it makes you wonder what the politicians are so frightened of! Perhaps a healthy mind encourages freedom of thought. Now that could be frightening for a totalitarian regime!"

On June 4, 2005, Germany's Ninth Bielefeld Cultural Festival was held, and around 1,500 people from seventy organizations participated in a featured parade. It was the second time for Falun Gong to participate in parades in Bielefeld.

Practitioners from Bielefeld and other nearby cities came to the staging area of the parade very early to prepare for the parade. While some were busy with float decoration, others rehearsed dancing and waist drum performances. The parade commenced at 3 p.m. The practitioners' group was led by the waist drum troupe, which was followed by a float on which practitioners were demonstrating Falun Gong exercises. The traditional Chinese fan dancers were at the end of the group.

Though the weather was not so good, it didn't affect the crowd's enthusiasm. The traditional Chinese cultural performances presented by Falun Gong practitioners attracted people's special attention. Many people clapped along with the drumbeat. There was a Chinese man who loudly cheered us on. Many people took pictures of the practitioners' peaceful and graceful demonstration of the five sets of exercises on the float. The dancing performed by practitioners to the beautiful music of "Falun Dafa is Good" won warm applause. A middle-aged man came over to talk to the dancers and said that he saw Falun Gong's parade at the Frankfurt Cultural Festival last year, and that he especially enjoyed the music of "Falun Dafa is Good." The crowds were also very pleased to accept Falun Gong leaflets, as well as the paper lotus flowers delicately made by practitioners.

At the beginning of the parade, the weather was not stable and some practitioners were not familiar with the drumbeats or dancing. However, with the practitioners' concerted collaboration and righteous thoughts, the parade was very successful. The beauty of Falun Dafa fascinated the onlookers, and the practitioners were so pleased to see that so many people had learned about Falun Gong from this event.
