(Clearwisdom.net) Editors' note: In both Western and Chinese cultures, the principle of karmic retribution, that is, being held ultimately accountable for one's own actions, is widely accepted. The fundamental teaching of Falun Gong is the characteristic of the universe, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. The universe will reward acts that are in harmony with this principle, while doing things such as beating, torturing and murdering people will incur karmic retribution. Stated another way, good deeds will be rewarded with good, while evildoings will meet due retribution. Articles such as this one are meant as a compassionate reminder of this principle to those who would commit wrongdoing. While many of those who persecute Falun Gong are merely "following orders," the universal law requires that they, too, be held responsible for their actions, and that only by reversing their course of wrongdoing may they escape retribution.

Daqing City Forced Labor Camp assistant manager Wang Yongxiang (57 years old) was the person primarily responsible for the persecution Falun Dafa practitioners in his forced labor camp. For many years, practitioners explained the truth to him through every channel many times, but he did not repent and continued to brutally persecute them. On February 28, 2009, Wang Yongxiang developed acute myocardial infarction and died in a hospital.

In 2000, Wang retired from the army and obtained the post of assistant manager in Daqing City Forced Labor Camp. He willingly became a persecution machine. From 2001 to 2007 as the assistant manager of the camp, he was in charge of torturing and brainwashing practitioners. During this period, several practitioners, including He Huajiang, Shen Baoku, and others, died or were disabled as a result of torture. He was in charge of officers Han Qingshan, Wang Yingzhou, Zhang Mingzhu, and others who many times claimed to be "little rascals of hell." They tortured practitioners and wantonly extorted money from practitioners' relatives, who sought to bail them out.

Practitioners kindly explained the truth to him many times, but he still persecuted them. He died at age 57.

Shanghai City Tianlin Police Station instructor Du has participated in persecuting Dafa practitioners since 2001, directly inciting the police to arrest practitioners in his residential area. Later he worked for the district and city 610 Office to persecute practitioners. Recently he was diagnosed with leukemia. He is now removed from his job and hospitalized for treatment.

Chen Shimei, a criminal inmate in Yangai Prison, Guizhou Province, was arranged by police to supervise Dafa practitioners during their imprisonment. In order to reduce her own sentence, she beat and tortured practitioners. Indeed, she beat practitioner Ms. Pan Qihua until bruises covered her entire body.

In October 2007, Chen Shimei developed cancer of the uterus and died in a public security hospital.
