Ms. Liao, 67 years old, lives in Lanshan County. She had bronchial asthma for more than 20 years. She spent lots of money on different treatments, but none worked well. Whenever the asthma occurred, she suffered. A Dafa practitioner next door who had health problems prior to practicing encouraged her to repeat, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" The practitioner's illnesses had completely disappeared after beginning cultivation. Witnessing how her neighbor improved, Ms. Liao was convinced. Ever since, when she awakens at 4:00 a.m. she repeats for 15 minutes, "Greetings, Master. Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" Soon after, her asthma disappeared. She was so happy and told her neighbor, "I really like what you have asked me to say each day. I wake up at 4:00 a.m. each day. It seems like a person is present to wake up me. I start repeating those sentences. I have been doing this routinely for three years now."

Mr. Deng, an older fellow, owns a liquor factory in his hometown near Shenguan County. He delivers merchandise to the county and brings back supplies on his tricycle each day. A practitioner once told him to repeat, "Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!" The practitioner said it could save his life, particularly in an emergency. He remembered this and repeated the phrases regularly.

On his way home one day he collided with a car. He was thrown off the tricycle and landed under the car, and his tricycle was completely mangled. When people pulled him out from under the car they discovered he only had a dislocated right arm. They were surprised at this unexpected turn of events. Mr. Deng told the crowd that Falun Dafa had saved his life.

Another day, he delivered liquor to an elderly customer who was home alone and asked the elderly customer to give him a hand to carry the liquor. Suddenly his customer collapsed and became unconscious. Mr. Deng was very frightened and was afraid that the man might die. Then he recalled what the practitioner had told him. He immediately started repeating, "Greetings, Master. Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good! I am in jeopardy now. I will take full responsibility for this incident, but please help me revive him." About five minutes later, the elderly man regained consciousness. Later on Mr. Deng told his Falun Gong friend about this incident and thanked him. This practitioner replied, "Our Master protects people who really believe in Dafa. It is Dafa that protects you."

Ms. Jiuzhi and her family own a rice-processing factory. She believes in Dafa after a practitioner explained about the goodness of Dafa and the persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). She used an alias to quit the CCP. One day she and a driver were delivering goods to Guangzhou. At the border with Lianshan County the driver discovered that the car's brakes were malfunctioning and told Ms. Jiuzhi, "We have no brakes." As soon as he said that, the car slid down a hill and overturned. The driver died instantly, and Ms. Jiuzhi lost consciousness. Once she was conscious again she found that she had fallen on top of the rice bags and only had a bruise on her head.

Following this incident, Ms. Jiuzhi thanked the Dafa practitioner for telling her the facts and saving her life. The Dafa friend replied, "Since you quit the CCP, the mark of the beast was removed from you. Master will protect you. If you want to thank anyone, you need to thank our Master!"
