"Get Infected with the Virus, and then Carry and Spread It Throughout the Nation" -- Copyrighted by Xinhua News Agency By Qing Miao
(Clearwisdom.net) June 12 report: Xinhua News Agency recently
published a social commentary accusing Falun Gong practitioners who allegedly "sent people
out to approach the hospitals that treat SARS patients, got infected with the
virus, and then carried and spread it throughout the nation." At the same time,
though, the article accuses Falun Gong practitioners of boasting that "Falun
Gong practitioners won't get infected with SARS," and, "people who practice Falun
Gong have supernatural neurophil blood cells; their immunity will improve and
they won't contract any diseases."
If Falun Gong practitioners believe that by practicing Falun Gong they "won't
contract any diseases," why would practitioners "approach hospitals, get infected
with the virus, and then carry and spread it throughout the nation?" How can
people who are immune from all diseases contract any virus?
As a media agency, why doesn't Xinhua News Agency tell us exactly who
made this suggestion of spreading the virus? Who proposed the idea of
sending people "to accomplish this mission impossible"? Which hospital did he go
into? Did he contract the virus after he got into the hospital? Did he spread
the virus throughout the nation to cause the widespread epidemic? Of course, we
know the spread of SARS is a fact, but it was not caused by people who "approached
the hospital, got infected with the virus, and then carried and spread it
throughout the nation." It was caused by people trusting in dictator Jiang group's
lies in their cover-up of SARS, and it is they who unwittingly "got infected with
the virus, and carried and spread it throughout the nation."
Xinhua News Agency is not a fiction-publishing outlet, and the
journalists are not storytellers. For an important issue such as this, involving
the virus, readers have the right to obtain answers to the aforementioned
questions and they can conduct an independent investigation.
A while back, a New York Times reporter fabricated news and
several editors-in-chief were forced to resign because of it. This report by
Xinhua News Agency involves the physical safety of tens of thousands
of practitioners of a spiritual belief system, for police in China can arrest
any Falun Gong practitioner using this news report as an excuse and annihilate
them as an "enemy of the class struggle."
We hope the author of this "commentary" can step forward and "comment" on the
related facts before readers inside and outside of China, and let others
"comment" on this incident. If not, the innovative thought of "get infected with
the virus, and then carry and spread it throughout the nation" is copyrighted
under Xinhua News Agency, and any duplication without permission is
punishable by law.
