Photographs of the Corpse of Practitioner Li Yanhua, An Elderly Lady from Liaoning Province Who Was Beaten to Death by the Police

[Minghui Net] Li Yanhua, a female practitioner who was around 60 years old, lived in Dongjiang Village, Nanlou Economic Development District, Dashiqiao City, Liaoning Province, in the northeastern region of China. On February 19th 2001, she distributed some Falun Gong flyers, hoping to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to local residents. She was turned in by an informer and brought to the Nanlou Economic Development District Police Station. When the police tried to force her to tell them where she received the flyers, she refused to divulge any information. Then, eager to obtain rewards and recognition, the police proceeded to torture her in a desperate attempt to make her talk. Several of them mercilessly beat the slender old lady with police batons until she lost control of her bowels and bladder. At that point, nearly every inch of her body was covered with wounds. Blood began gushing from her nose, mouth, and ears, and she died on the scene.
