Working with Fellow Practitioners to Distribute Informational Materials

Sept. 28, 2026 |   By a Falun Dafa practitioner in Hebei Province, China

(Minghui.org) I have cultivated in Falun Dafa for 26 years. When the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) launched its crackdown on Falun Dafa in July 1999, the Party’s fabricated propaganda deceived many people. The purpose of handing out informational materials is to clarify the facts to people, lay the foundation for practitioners who talk about Dafa face-to-face, and bring more opportunities for people to be saved by Dafa.

First Cultivating Myself Solidly

In January 2024, coordinated by Ms. Jia, a few of us formed a team to distribute informational materials, including “How Humankind Came To Be,” “Why This World Is a Realm of Unknowing”, and Minghui Weekly. We handed them out periodically; if we were unfamiliar with an area, we rode our motorbikes around beforehand to check the road conditions and the number of households, so that we had a clear idea how to proceed.

While handing out informational materials, each one of us understood that our attachments would be exposed and removed during the process of cultivation, and our xinxing would thus be upgraded.

Usually, once the distribution time was organized, while strengthening my Fa study and sending forth righteous thoughts, I would experience a struggle between my righteous thoughts and human thinking. A fear substance would flare up with thoughts like: “What if I’m reported by people who don’t know the truth; what if I’m persecuted; what if I can’t get home on time; what if after two groups of practitioners finish handing out materials, we can’t find each other?”

I had a lot of negative thoughts. However, since I was determined to hand out truth-clarification materials and help save sentient beings, whenever an attachment surfaced, I’d repel it. I had the thought, “This was imposed upon me by the old forces. These are negative thoughts formed by post-natal notions, they do not originate from my true self, and I’m determined to disintegrate them.”

Since I got home very late after these outings, I would tell my husband, “I’ll be back late tonight, don’t worry about me.” Before saying this, however, I felt some apprehension, fearing he might try to stop me or get upset. But afterwards, I thought that every being in the world came for the Fa. If my husband’s knowing side realized he is supporting a practitioner to save sentient beings, he would be overjoyed—how could he possibly be angry? So when I told my husband I’d be home late, he didn’t say a word.

Through handing out informational materials regularly, the number of negative thoughts that came up gradually became less and less. When we picked up the materials, as soon we set off on our motorbikes, the first thought in my mind was: “Master is right beside me and the Eight Types of Heavenly Law-Guardians are clearing the way for us.” At that moment, I was full of righteous thoughts.

Once we began handing the materials out, we became immersed in a sacred sense of our mission to save sentient beings. Benevolent Master watched over us at all times. Thanks to the hard work of the practitioners at the material production sites and the cooperation among practitioners sending forth righteous thoughts, we successfully delivered all the informational materials to sentient beings, every time.

Eliminating Attachments

For the past year, I’ve studied the Fa intensively. I enlightened that as a Fa-rectification period disciple, one should treasure the time extended through benevolent Master’s great endurance. I didn’t do well before and realized I needed to take big steps forward to catch up.

The other practitioners in my Fa study group are Ms. Yi, Ms. Bing, and Ms. Ding. I felt encouraged by their cultivation states and demeanor while helping to save sentient beings. I improved by observing their approach to handing out informational materials and clarifying the truth to people face-to-face.

I teamed up with Ms. Yi, Ms. Bing, and Ms. Ding. Ms. Bing and I rode our motorbikes, each carrying a passenger—Ms. Ding and Ms. Yi, respectively. One time, Ms. Yi and I went to scout the terrain and road conditions in the area where we planned to distribute materials in several villages nestled between two valleys. From the main road, narrow ravines branched off with farmhouses scattered far into the distance. We didn’t want to miss a single household. One of these ravine roads was particularly narrow and winding, with no protective barriers along the edge.

After returning home, I was very anxious and couldn’t sleep that night. What were we to do? We certainly had to make the trip, but even riding that road during the day could be nerve-wracking. How on earth would we manage in the pitch-black of night if we suddenly encountered a vehicle coming from the opposite direction?

The next day, I shared my concerns with our group. Ms. Yi said, “What we are doing is the most righteous thing in the universe. We have Master taking care of everything, so what is there to fear? Don’t worry. Isn’t this an attachment?”

I realized my first thought was not of Master and this was clearly the gap between me and Ms. Yi. My reluctance to deal with adversity vanished immediately. I recognized my desire for comfort, my fear of difficulty, my aversion to hardship, and my tendency to overthink and worry. More importantly, I didn’t think of Master in the critical moment. This wasn’t a practitioner’s state of mind.

The next evening, while distributing materials, we passed along that narrow, winding concrete road. After we got back, we both felt as if the road had been broad and level! As Ms. Yi had fewer negative thoughts, when she handed out informational materials, she seemed to move supernaturally.

Sentient Beings Await Salvation

One night, late last March, three groups of two practitioners each went to the mountains to hand out informational materials. Each team was responsible for a specific gully. The farms there were scattered, yet every household had dogs and surveillance cameras; we handed out informational materials by moving outward from within the gully.

The surveillance systems emitted various alarm sounds and announcements like, “You have entered a monitored area. Please leave the area voluntarily.” We kept sending righteous thoughts, told the surveillance systems to only record the bad people, not the good ones, and please remember the sacred phrases: “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!”

As I approached a house without a perimeter wall, the property’s security light came on. The homeowner stepped out and said, “Why are you here?” I replied, “I’ve come to bring good fortune to your home.” He asked, “What good fortune?” I said, “It’s the truth about Falun Dafa. If you receive it, you’ll be blessed.”

He accepted the beautifully packaged informational materials. At that moment, his wife also came over. It was heartening to see this couple reading the materials under the light. I said, “Sorry to have disturbed you; you could go back inside and read it there. Be sure to cherish it. I wish you safety!”

As I walked on and looked back, the couple were still standing there, watching me; I raised my right hand and waved, signalling them to go back inside. It was as if they had been waiting for the truth for a very long time.

Another time, five of us went in two groups to a steep, remote mountain ravine. My team was distributing materials from the ravine outward, while the other team was working inward from the village nearby. Ms. Yi had just visited two households and arrived at the third, where the family were saying goodbye to some guests.

A middle-aged man asked, “What are you doing here?” Ms. Yi replied, “I’m bringing blessings to your family. Please have a look at these informational materials.” Then Ms. Yi put the materials in his hands. Several family members gathered around the man, all reading together. Ms. Yi started moving onto the next household. The man looked up and said loudly, “Do I need to pay for this?” Ms. Yi replied, “No, we just want you to be safe.”

After we finished distributing materials in the three ravines, we headed to the nearby village to hand out the rest. When we got to the last one, the other group of practitioners arrived there too as the very last informational material was given to the very last household. The timing was perfect. A few of us exclaimed: “Everything happened according to Master’s orderly arrangements!”

Studying the Fa Well, Strengthening Righteous Thoughts

As I don’t have much farm work to do, I have more free time to study the Fa. My fellow practitioners have a much heavier workload. Besides our group Fa study at night, they all find time to read one chapter of Zhuan Falun during the day. While working, they listen to podcasts about practitioners’ experience sharing. They cultivate and improve whilst helping to save sentient beings, and their righteous thoughts become stronger and stronger.

We’ve been out every other week from January 2024 until now, except for two times when a local practitioner was persecuted and we had to cancel our trip. Through this process, our cultivation has become more and more mature.

When we first started, Ms. Ding got locked out by her husband twice when she finished handing out materials. She understood that he was helping her to eliminate attachments like resentment, the competitive mentality, and feeling emotionally unbalanced.

A few days ago, we went somewhere about 10 miles away, and Ms. Ding had spent the whole day picking berries. By the time we met up in the evening, it was already 6:30 p.m.. She then had a quick meal. After sending forth righteous thoughts, we set off at 7:30 p.m. Ms. Ding’s ankle was swollen, so she said, “When I get off the motorbike, I just have to put my other foot down first; it won’t affect handing out the materials though.” However, it was already midnight by the time we got home.

At first, Ms. Yi’s husband would curse at her and threaten divorce when she came home late. She maintained her xinxing and never got angry, no matter how much her husband tried to fight with her. Now, when her husband sees her coming home late, he lets her sleep in a little longer in the morning.

One time, Ms. Bing rode her motorbike to a market to hand out informational materials. While passing along a narrow lane, she came to a bend with a stone wall. She wasn’t paying attention and her left foot got stuck in a hole. The pain was excruciating, and her toes swelled up. Even so, this didn’t affect her handing out informational materials that night.

Last month, Ms. Bing’s daughter-in-law said, “Mom, the rear tire on our motorbike has a puncture and needs to be fixed.” That same night, without even looking at the tire, Ms. Bing got on her motorbike and headed out with Ms. Ding. They travelled to a township nearly 10 miles away, covering 20 miles in total. The next morning, she discovered that both the front and rear tires of the motorbike were flat. Ms. Bing exclaimed, “Master is truly protecting his disciples at all times!”
