(Minghui.org) I first came across Falun Dafa two months before the persecution started on July 20, 1999. However, because I had only been practicing for a very short time, I didn’t truly understand what Dafa was or the true nature of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), so I easily gave up cultivation. I didn’t return to practicing Falun Dafa until 2003.
A friend gave me a DVD detailing the truth behind the Tiananmen Square self-immolation incident. It was then that I realized I had been deceived by the Party. I thought it was despicable that the CCP had staged such a fake and cruel incident in order to persecute Falun Dafa. I watched other truth-clarification videos that showed Dafa practitioners fearlessly and righteously going to Tiananmen Square to unfurl banners or do the Dafa exercises, and being brutally beaten by police and dragged into police vehicles, all to speak out for Dafa and Master. I was always moved to tears by their spirit, and was filled with regret and remorse for having missed my earlier opportunity to begin cultivating.
It may be that each Dafa practitioner has a different predestined opportunity, and Master arranges a different cultivation path for each practitioner. After I began to genuinely cultivate, Master quickly purified my body. At that time, I had severe gynecological problems, hemorrhoids, liver disease, and other ailments. After I started practicing Falun Dafa, I became free of illness and felt light. I didn’t feel tired no matter how far I walked. My heart was excited and joyful—words cannot express my gratitude to Master! I always wanted to tell my relatives about the miraculous nature of Dafa.
I had a dream in 2004, where there were people dressed in green military uniforms, carrying green satchels lying everywhere on the main road near my home. Fires were burning around them and about to reach them. The situation was extremely urgent, like the fire was singeing their eyebrows. Yet I appeared indifferent, dismissively intending to step over them. Then I saw them reaching out their hands, shouting, “We’ve been waiting for you! We’ve been waiting for you! We’ve been waiting for you!” They shouted it three times. I was startled and woke from the dream drenched in sweat. Those words still echoed in my ears, “We’ve been waiting for you!” I realized that Master was enlightening me that those people who are deceived by the CCP are in danger. Master wants me to clarify the truth and help save people—this is my responsibility. From this, I deeply understood the great significance of truth clarification.
From 2004 to present, I have been fulfilling my vow to help Master save people. At first, I partnered with other practitioners to distribute truth materials and post flyers. I also clarified the truth to people face-to-face. First to vegetable vendors and shopkeepers, then to elderly people in parks and pedestrians on the street, and later to crowds at bus stops.
Through 20-plus years of experiencing ups and downs, practitioners in our city have done very well in clarifying the truth. Many of the city’s permanent residents have quit the Party. When I ask the elderly I meet, most of them already know the truth about Dafa.
I have focused on talking to college students in recent years, with very good results. There are several universities in our city, and each year they bring in new students from other places. The students have a sense of justice and are very reasonable. Clarifying the truth to them goes very smoothly, and many agree that Dafa is good, and quit the CCP. Master has said we shouldn’t be selective when clarifying the truth, but I haven’t yet reached that level of compassion. I still tend to speak to those whom I believe are easier to talk to.
When clarifying the truth to college students, I always ask them if they’ve heard about quitting the CCP for their safety. The young people always ask in surprise, “What does that mean?”
Seeing that they truly haven’t heard of it, I begin by explaining, “Natural and man-made disasters are now abnormally frequent. Why is this? It’s because human morality has declined. China’s five thousand years of civilization was a divinely-imparted culture, which taught that heaven is watching what people do. Because human morality has declined, the divine will eliminate those unworthy of being human. All these abnormal disasters are a warning from heaven for people to improve their moral character and become good. Only then will heaven protect them.”
I also tell them that the theories of evolution and atheism are lies. “Humans absolutely did not evolve from monkeys. The links between monkeys and humans are missing. It’s a theory that is full of holes. Scientists abroad regard Darwin’s theory of evolution as a hypothesis. Chinese education treats it as truth, making children study and research it. These theories desecrate humanity. Most people in the world today came from heaven. They are all extraordinary and shouldn’t diminish themselves. During this special historical period, just maintain your conscience and kind thoughts, and await salvation by the Creator.”
When these young people hear this, they nod and smile. I then tell them how atheism moves people away from understanding karmic retribution of good deeds being rewarded and doing bad things bringing karma, leading so many originally good people down a path of corruption, pornography, gambling, drug addiction, and deviant behavior. I say that the evil Party is finished. I also tell them that a wise person shouldn’t stand under a crumbling roof. I normally end saying, “Quickly quit the Party, Youth League, and Young Pioneers for your safety.”
At this point, most of the young people agree to quit. After they do, I tell them about the beauty of Dafa, asking them to remember: “Falun Dafa is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good!” Most of them accept it and thank me! I know they choose a bright future. Every time I clarify the truth, it is Master who provides the wisdom and methods.
At the bus stop, when the bus arrives quickly and time is limited, I managed to help people quit the Party with just a few words. I can often hardly believe it myself. I know it is all Master’s doing. Master brings predestined people to us. We just move our mouths and legs. Of course, practitioners help to pave the way by distributing truth materials. I am merely giving people the opportunity to renounce their memberships in the CCP’s organizations.
The city center was packed for the 2025 New Year’s Eve. Young people braved the cold and arrived at the square early to await the New Year countdown. I thought, “Will they be willing to listen if I clarify the truth to them now?”
I found that as long as I spoke from the heart, Master gave me wisdom. When I started to clarify the truth, one person said, “Life is exhausting. Can’t we have some fun? We are just muddling through! Life is boring.”
I replied, “Chinese people suffer and are tired because they have no faith and don’t know why they live. That’s why life is bitter and tiring.” I then told them about the beauty of Dafa and the importance of quitting the Party. That night, I helped over a dozen people quit the CCP within an hour.
All people in the world are Master’s family. Master said:
“With the arrival of the End Times, it became forbidden for lives without such a tie to become human; this was done so as to ensure that the task of salvation could be better fulfilled. By that time, the true bodies of the people on this earth were all those of His people.” (“Why the Creator Seeks to Save All Life”)
For this reason, I should not be selective. Regardless of whether I think a person is good or not, they are all beings to be saved. I still need to improve in this regard and strive to not be selective, not miss anyone with a predestined relationship, and truly be compassionate to all sentient beings.
