(Minghui.org) Mr. Xiao Wenhua and his wife Ms. Peng Hui from Tangshan City, Hebei Province, were each sentenced to seven years and fined 20,000 yuan in December 2025 in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region for their shared faith in Falun Gong.

The couple was arrested on November 21, 2023, in Nanning City, Guangxi, by officers from the Qingxiu District Police Department. The police raided their rental property and accused them of projecting “sensitive information” onto a coffee house’s bulletin board using cell phone bluetooth on November 17.

Mr. Xiao and Ms. Peng were held in the Nanning City Second Detention Center. The Jiangnan District Procuratorate indicted them in March 2025. They appeared in the Jiangnan District Court on June 11 and 12 before being convicted on December 16.
