(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

3. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xing Ni Detained
4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Detained
5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lai Bihua Harassed
6. [Guangshui City, Hubei Province] Ms. Han Yufang and Ms. Liu Hongying Arrested
7. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Xiuping Arrested
8. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Mengying Released
9. [Hancheng City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Lin Detained

1. [Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Wu Yangyang; Mr. Yang Shuguang, in his 70s; and Ms. Wang Qingrong, 69, were arrested in late January or early February 2026.

2. [Shanghai] Ms. Cai Yufang Under Residential Surveillance

Ms. Cai Yufang has been under close surveillance since early February 2026.

3. [Longkou City, Shandong Province] Ms. Xing Ni Detained

Ms. Xing Ni was arrested on January 28, 2026. She has been held in the Yantai City Detention Center.

4. [Hefei City, Anhui Province] Three Practitioners Detained

Ms. Jiang Zhaoying, Mr. Wu Shoukai, and Ms. Zhu Qin, were arrested and taken to a brainwashing center on January 13 or 14, 2026. They were released in late January 2026.

5. [Chengdu City, Sichuan Province] Ms. Lai Bihua Harassed

Ms. Lai Bihua was harassed near her home around 8 p.m. on January 31, 2026, by officers from the Xinjin District Police Station. They took photos of her without her permission.

6. [Guangshui City, Hubei Province] Ms. Han Yufang and Ms. Liu Hongying Arrested

Ms. Han Yufang and Ms. Liu Hongying were arrested by Lidian Town Police Station officers for talking to people about Falun Gong in Lidian Town on the morning of February 4, 2026. Ms. Han’s home was ransacked that afternoon by officers from the Lidian Town Police Station and Guangshui City Police Department. Several of her Falun Gong books, two photos of Falun Gong’s founder, three media players and two tablets were confiscated. Ms. Liu’s home was also ransacked.

7. [Weihai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Song Xiuping Arrested

Ms. Song Xiuping was arrested at home by officers from the Gao District Police Department on January 26, 2026. The police confiscated her Falun Gong books and a photo of Falun Gong’s founder. Ms. Song was taken to the Gao District Police Department and released around 10 p.m.

8. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Li Mengying Released

Ms. Li Mengying was arrested on November 2, 2025. She was held at the Yinchuan City Detention Center and released on January 29, 2026.

9. [Hancheng City, Shanxi Province] Ms. Li Lin Detained

Ms. Li Lin was arrested by three officers on January 8, 2026, while she was distributing information booklets about Falun Gong. The police searched her car and her home. They confiscated her Falun Gong books, informational materials, computer, printer, printing paper, and USB drives. Ms. Li was taken to the police department for interrogation and given a 10 days of detention. She was released on January 20, 2026.
