(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 10 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Tianyin Jailed to Re-Serve a One-Year Term

Ms. Wang Tianyin, 79, was arrested in February 2024, after being reported for talking to people about Falun Gong. She was later sentenced to one year in prison by Nanming District Court. While she was initially allowed to serve time at home due to health reasons, the authorities took her into custody in September 2025 to re-serve the term.

2. [Chengde City, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Shuying Faces Indictment

Ms. Zhang Shuying, 60, was arrested on July 18, 2025. Her case was submitted to the Chengde County Procuratorate, where she was summoned  on December 16.

3. [Fuzhou City, Fujian Province] Ms. Huang Meiying Detained

Ms. Huang Meiying was recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong materials on December 8, 2025. She was subsequently arrested and her home was ransacked by Yuefeng Police Station officers. Her Falun Gong books and cell phone were confiscated. She was admitted to the Fuzhou City Second Detention Center the next day.

4. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Lei Arrested

Ms. Wang Lei from Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region was reported to the police when talking to people about Falun Gong in Beijing. She was arrested in Fengtai District in Beijing on November 26, 2025 and has been detained since.

Ms. Wang was previously arrested for practicing Falun Gong and sentenced to 10 years in prison.

5. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Wang Hongfen Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Wang Hongfen, 77, was sentenced to three years in prison, in September 2025, by Nanming District Court, for refusing to sign statements to renounce Falun Gong. She is to serve her term outside of prison.

6. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Cai Fengyun’s Whereabouts Unknown

Ms. Cai Fengyun, in her 70s, was harassed on multiple occasions for making a solemn statement to resume practicing Falun Gong, after she was forced to renounce it against her will. Her son worked with the Nanming District Court in framing her. She never returned home after a court appearance in the summer of 2025. Her current whereabouts are unknown.

7. [Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Xu and Ms. Wang Arrested

Ms. Wang, was arrested on December 13, and held in Harbin City Detention Center. Another practitioner, Ms. Xu, was arrested by Daoli District Police Department officers on the evening of December 15, 2025 and her home was ransacked.

8. [Wangdu County, Hebei Province] Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin Arrested

Ms. Zhang Xiaoqin was arrested on December 4, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for 15 days and released on December 18.

9. [Cangzhou City, Hebei Province] Mr. Zhao Harassed

Mr. Zhao was harassed at his motorcycle repair shop by Xindian Town Police Station officers around December 10, 2025. They took pictures of him.

10. [Shouguang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Han Xinying Arrested

Ms. Han Xinying was arrested at home by plainclothes officers from Xiguan Police Station on August 27, 2025. They ransacked her home and confiscated Falun Gong books. She was released later that day.

11. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Wang Yujuan Harassed

Ms. Wang Yujuan was harassed over the phone by local police officers. They called her again in mid-December 2025, ordering her to go to the police station. When she refused, they ordered her son to go into her place and to bring them a sample of her hair

12. [Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region] Mr. Li Minxiang Arrested

Mr. Li Minxiang, a teacher at Qipanjing Middle School in Otog Banner, was arrested in July 2025 and detained for 15 days. His computer was confiscated, and the authorities forced him to sign a statement to renounce Falun Gong, threatening to fire him from his job if he didn’t comply.
