Stories of People Waking Up to the Truth

(Minghui.org) Here are three stories from China where people are waking up to the truth about Falun Dafa, which is dispelling the lies and propaganda put out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Liu was a small business owner. He told a Falun Dafa practitioner he knew, “I’ve been doing business for many years, and I’ve experienced a lot. The Communist Party takes everything; it takes land illegally, and urban management officers take vendors’ goods. Someone once gave me a copy of the Nine Commentaries. However, I’m illiterate and couldn’t read it. But I heard from those who had read it that the content is very well-reasoned and comprehensive. I want to listen to the Nine Commentaries. Do any of you have audio recordings of it? If so, could you please make a copy for me?”

The practitioner replied, “I’ll find it for you.” The practitioner made him an audio version of the Nine Commentaries and Minghui Radio programs such as “China’s Divinely Imparted Culture,” “Beginner’s Garden,” “Cultivation Stories,” and “Between Good and Evil: A Thought Apart.”

The people who understand the truth about Falun Dafa are spreading the news from person to person and people are awakening.

“The Communist Party is a Group of Bandits!”

I’m 82 years old and have practiced Falun Dafa for 30 years. Master told us to go out and tell people the truth about the persecution. My wife and I grow vegetables in our yard, and on every market day, we pick some to sell. While there, we talk to people about Falun Dafa and the persecution.

I’ve been clarifying the truth to the vendor next to me for almost three years. He was very resistant at the beginning. But as time went on, his attitude softened. One day, he totally changed. He told me, “The Communist Party is a group of bandits! What you Falun Dafa practitioners said is right!”

The authorities wanted to take over some of the village’s land, which included his family’s land. Officials from the township government went to his house and told his family that their land had been taken over, without any documentation. He told them they should at least give him a piece of paper stating when and how much land was being taken. The official replied, “The higher-ups didn’t say anything, and we can’t say anything. Your land will be taken anyway.”

The vendor retorted, “Your communist songs say that you won’t take a single needle or a piece of thread from people. We only have this small piece of land, and you’re taking it. Aren’t you a bunch of bandits!”

A Police Station Chief Quits the CCP

In June 2025, the chief of a police station, along with village committee personnel in the suburbs of Huludao City (Liaoning Province) were instructed by the Provincial Political and Legal Affairs Committee to break into a Falun Dafa practitioner’s home. This was the third time the police station and village committee had harassed this practitioner. Each time, the practitioner explained the truth about Falun Dafa to them from different perspectives and sent righteous thoughts to eliminate the interfering factors controlling them. The chief’s attitude softened, and the village officials’ arrogance subsided.

This female practitioner read two lectures of Zhuan Falun every morning and went out in the afternoon to clarify the truth, regardless of whether it was cold or hot. She ran her household and took care of her ailing husband. With Master’s strengthening, she maintained strong righteous thoughts.

She told the chief and village committee personnel, “Stop bothering me! This is serious harassment and you’re interrupting my Fa study.” Those from the village committee said that their superiors told them to come. The practitioner replied, “What superiors? We Falun Dafa practitioners are solely under the care of our Master. The Communist Party’s leadership is now in chaos, and they’re fighting fiercely among themselves. The pandemic is severe, and countless people have died. If you don’t quit the Party and its organizations, you’ll be associated with it when heaven eliminates the CCP.”

The chief paused in thought. The practitioner continued, “It’s usually difficult to meet with you to tell you the truth about Dafa. But since you’re here again, maybe we have a predestined connection. Why don’t you take this opportunity to quit the Party?” She then gave the chief a pseudonym to quit. The chief agreed and promised not to come again. He made the right choice for his future.
