(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 8 cities or counties in 7 provinces, where at least 9 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Mr. Song Anyu was arrested at his home in Harbin City by officers from Tongxu County Police Department in Kaifeng City, Henan Province on February 20, 2025. He has since been held in the Tongxu County Detention Center. He has been indicted by the Tongxu County Procuratorate and is now facing trial by the Tongxu County Court.
Ms. Wang Fenghua of Yuanbaoshan Town was arrested by officers from the Yuanbaoshan Police Station on the evening of June 20, 2025. She is being held in the Pingzhuang Detention Center.
Qian Feng, gender unknown, of Xiliu Town, was arrested on the evening of June 3, 2025, by officers from Haicheng City Domestic Security Division and Xiliu Town Police Station. Qian’s home was ransacked. Qian was put into the Nantai Detention Center in Haicheng City. The Lishan District Procuratorate in Anshan City approved Qian’s arrest around June 16.
Ms. Zhao Guilan was harassed at home by officer Tong Haizhang and others from the Guangrunmen Police Station on June 22, 2025 around 8 p.m. They took pictures of her against her will.
Ms. Fang Caixia, a household worker, was arrested at her employer’s home in Dalian City on the morning of June 23, 2025.
Ms. Liu Binfang, a practitioner in Shengli Oil Field, was arrested by Binhai Domestic Security Division officers on the afternoon of June 13, 2025. She was detained for 15 days and released on June 27.
Two Jiucheng Town practitioners, Ms. Lu Xiaoru and Ms. Li Yuzhen, were arrested by officers from Shenzhou City’s Mucun Township Police Station on June 23, 2025. They were held in the Xinji Detention Center for five days and released on June 27.
Ms. Wu Qiuqin has been under 24/7 surveillance since March 2025. The Hudai Police Station has three people taking turns staging at her door around the clock to monitor her. They took pictures of her and reported her daily activities to the police station.
