(Minghui.org) Practitioners held two events on July 26, 2025—one in Paris and one in Mulhouse- to tell people about Falun Gong and the 26-year-long persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Through group exercises, posters, and signature drives, practitioners called on people to help end the CCP’s atrocities inside China and the transnational repression.

Practitioners held activities at Place du Châtelet in the heart of Paris.

“We Must Stop This Crime”

Gina Estteves is a nurse and said she was shocked to hear the CCP has been persecuting practitioners for upholding their faith and living by Falun Gong’s principles: Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and even killing them for their organs. “We must stop this crime because it is unacceptable!” she said.

Having read some history books about China, Estteves said she was drawn by its rich culture and values. She said Chinese people have suffered tremendously, and this persecution by the CCP should not happen. “We are all mankind and we have the freedom to protect our lives and organs,” she said.

Estteves said she is interested in traditional Chinese culture in many ways, from the roles of family to diet, health, and meditation. “I also like the spiritual side of the culture,” she added.

It's Important to Expose the Barbaric Behaviors

Jean Samati, an English teacher, said this was the first time he had heard that the CCP killed Falun Gong practitioners for their organs to make a profit.

“What’s going on in China is horrible. Because of your efforts, people in France and Europe may pay more attention to this issue. That’s why it’s very important to expose these tragedies. Thank you for your consistent efforts in telling us about these barbaric behaviors.”

Samati said such events help people to know what is going on in China, so they can join the efforts to counter the CCP. “China has a long history of spiritual practices such as Buddhism. It is hard to imagine a person could be jailed for his or her faith. I found this very shocking. Please keep it up because what you’re doing is very important.”

Freedom and Peace

Maklouf Aloui is an accountant, and he was surprised to hear that the CCP has persecuted Falun Gong for 26 years. “I cannot imagine how those people have suffered in these years. The situation is horrible,” he said.

After he watched practitioners do the exercises, Aloui said he liked the practice very much. “Practitioners should be able to practice,” he said.

Valo, a tourist, said that such persecution should not have happened. “People have been deprived of freedom and have had to endure physical torture and mental abuse. This is terrible,” she said.

Ludovic Coquin is a security guard for the government, and he once saw Falun Gong practitioners while taking a walk at the Parc des Buttes Chaumont. “The scene was peaceful, and practitioners were calm. It’s hard to find something like this in Paris because there’s always so much stress. I don’t know much about the persecution. But I know it is wrong.”

Information Day at Mulhouse

Practitioners held an event in Mulhouse on July 26, 2025.

During the information day event on July 26 at Mulhouse, a city near Switzerland and Germany, many people stopped at the booth to sign petitions that called to end the CCP’s atrocities.

When practitioners were still setting up the tents, two Chinese people came up and said, “Falun Dafa is good!” They then chatted with practitioners.

One local resident said he visited the U.K. recently and saw Falun Gong practitioners. He wanted to know more about the practice and planned to join the group exercise later.

As a girl read the posters, she was moved to tears, and said she felt sorry that practitioners suffered. She signed a petition and said she was interested in learning the exercises.
