(Minghui.org) Practitioners held a rally at Renon Square, a prominent public space in Denpasar, Bali, on July 20, 2025, to call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) 26-year-long persecution of Falun Gong.
They displayed images that illustrated the CCP’s torture methods used in the persecution. Many people stopped and took informational materials, talked with practitioners, and expressed their support for their peaceful efforts to uphold justice. Practitioners began the morning event with a group exercise session.

That evening, practitioners held a candlelight vigil in Puputan Badung, Denpasar, to honor the thousands of practitioners who died in the CCP’s brutal persecution.

During the morning event, practitioners collected over 800 signatures from people who expressed their support for ending the persecution of Falun Gong and the forced organ harvesting from practitioners in China.

Acha, a university student, said, “Although it’s my first time hearing about the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, I believe that Falun Dafa and its values are highly beneficial to society and can help guide it in a better direction.”

Raditya, a lecturer at a university in Denpasar, shared a similar view. “The principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance should be widely promoted throughout society. From a philosophical standpoint, these values can have a positive impact on people’s ethics and etiquette.”
Sri Widiastuti, head of a regional religious organization in Bali, strongly supported the practitioners’ efforts to raise awareness. “Don’t give up,” she said. “Keep educating the public about this persecution. Even if you can’t do something big, the small things you are doing now can lead to something greater. I hope the persecution ends soon.”
Wisnu, who works in the tourism industry, urged people to be cautious about seeking organ transplants in China. “For those considering organ transplants in China, please make sure the source of the organs is legal,” he said. “Be very careful, it’s possible that the organs come from Falun Gong practitioners. If that happens, it would be deeply heartbreaking for all of us.”
Shanti and her son Deva listened attentively as practitioners explained the atrocities of live organ harvesting from detained Falun Gong practitioners in China. They were deeply disturbed and said it was inhumane. Speaking about the persecution of belief, Shanti said, “If it violates human rights, we must speak out.”

Komang Ayu, a local resident, also expressed her concern. “What’s wrong with this peaceful meditation practice? Why is it being persecuted? This practice is so calm and guided by the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. Such a good practice should not be persecuted.”

Tangkas, a retired fisheries professional, voiced his stance firmly: “The harvesting of organs from Falun Gong practitioners must be stopped!”
Nisa and her friend Zahra expressed their support for the practitioners’ peaceful efforts to uphold kindness and justice. “I choose to support this peaceful initiative rather than stay silent,” Nisa said. “As for the perpetrators, we must ask where their conscience lies.”
