(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Malaysia held a candlelight vigil on Sunday, July 20, 2025 in Titiwangsa Lake Gardens, Kuala Lumpur.

The event was held to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa for the past 26 years, to commemorate the practitioners who have been persecuted to death by the CCP, and to exhibit Falun Dafa practitioners’ peacefulness, rationality, and persevering spirit.

Falun Dafa practitioners in Malaysia held an event to call for an end to the CCP’s persecution in Titiwangsa Lake Gardens in Kuala Lumpur and did group exercises by the lake.

The event started at 5 p.m., with practitioners dressed in white shirt and pants. Standing tidily and solemnly by the lake, practitioners did the Falun Dafa exercises together and started a candlelight vigil at 7 p.m. The atmosphere was solemn and touching.

The practitioners also set up a petition area to seek signatures from passersby on a petition calling for an end to the persecution. After understanding the truth, many people signed the petition to show their support.

A Malaysian couple finished listening to a practitioner’s explanation and one of them said, “I am very angry. Before this, I did not know about this matter. I hope that these things can be exposed in the media.” He also said that they will let the people around them know about this unprecedented persecution.

Mr. Bala, who came from India and is currently residing in Malaysia, started cultivating in Falun Dafa in May 2022, and said he has experienced many benefits from his cultivation. Mr. Bala feels that the CCP’s persecution of Falun Dafa all these years, even to the extent of harvesting their organs without consent, is extremely inhumane. He hopes that the persecution will end as soon as possible.

The event ended at 7:45 p.m. Many Falun Dafa practitioners shared that being able to participate in this righteous event to call for an end to the persecution with the other practitioners on this special day not only gave them encouragement, but also helped them become more steadfast and determined to cultivate. The event helped more people learn about Falun Dafa and witness the practitioners’ great spirit, persisting in their belief and peaceful efforts to end the persecution over all these years.

In today’s society, where morality is declining and people are confused between good and evil, Dafa practitioners’ actions exhibit the powers of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance to awaken more people's consciences and righteousness. Practitioners gathered their efforts to call on the international community to pay attention to the CCP’s violent acts of persecuting human rights, in hopes of ending these human rights disasters as early as possible.
