(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa (Falun Gong) practitioners in Singapore held an event in Hong Lim Park on July 15, 2025 to expose the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) criminal act of forced organ harvesting, and called on people from all walks of life to help end the persecution.

Giant display boards conveyed messages in Chinese and English, such as: “Stop Organ Harvesting from Falun Gong Practitioners in China,” “Stop the CCP’s Persecution of Falun Gong Immediately,” “The World Needs Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance,” and “Falun Dafa is Great.” Practitioners demonstrated the exercises, held an art exhibit, performed music, and held a candlelight vigil, to tell people about the persecution. Their efforts received positive response.

For seven years from 1992 to 1999, Falun Dafa spread by word of mouth, and more than 100 million people in China practiced. Falun Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance reshape one’s mind and body, and countless examples of non-greedy officials, folks being kind, doctors emphasizing moral values, and businessmen keeping their trust, can be found among practitioners. However, out of fear of the universal values of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance, the CCP launched a brutal suppression of Falun Dafa on July 20, 1999.

The CCP mobilized the nation’s resources to suppress Falun Dafa, and implemented the genocidal policy of: “ruin their reputation, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically.”

People Condemn the CCP’s Persecution

In addition to local residents, tourists, students and workers from different countries including the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Czech Republic, Finland, Spain, the United States, Malaysia, India, Myanmar and China, talked to practitioners during the event. Many people learned about the persecution and condemned the CCP’s atrocities.

A family of four was visiting Singapore and stopped in front of the painting, “Live Organ Harvesting-The Crime of Sujiatun.” A practitioner explained how the CCP forcibly removes organs from Falun Dafa practitioners, “Unlike other countries, few people in China donate their organs. However, the quantity of organ transplants in China tops the world with thousands of organ transplants done every year. Where do all these organs come from? They come from healthy people.” The father was upset, and the family said they came here to find out about this issue.

A man from India who moved to Singapore a year ago said he did not understand why the CCP forcibly extracts people’s organs, and how this relates to Falun Dafa. After a practitioner answered his questions, he said, “This is really bad. It should be stopped.” The practitioner gave him some informational materials and hoped he could help spread the facts.

A lady from Finland was touring Singapore and had a long chat with a practitioner. She said many Europeans know about the forced organ harvesting, and she refuses to buy products made in China. The practitioner told her that the live organ harvesting started from the persecution of Falun Dafa practitioners but now other people are targeted. The practitioner also explained why the event was held—she is worried about the people who are being deceived by the CCP. These people are the most pitiful because everyone should follow their conscience and choose between good and evil, but they can’t because they don’t know the truth.

Many Chinese lingered at the event and talked with practitioners. They listened to the facts and some quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. A group of Chinese said they bypassed the CCP’s Internet firewall and read truth-clarification information while they were in China. So when they saw practitioners they asked many questions about Falun Dafa. After he understood the truth about the Tiananmen Square self-immolation hoax and the live organ harvesting in China, one man said he wished to quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations.

A local secondary school student, Anqi, listened attentively as a practitioner explained how after Falun Dafa was introduced in China over 100 million people began practicing, how the CCP brutally persecutes Falun Dafa, and harvests practitioners’ organs while they are still alive. The practitioner also said there are free nine-day Falun Dafa classes in Singapore. Anqi said she wished to attend them.

“Hope that Chinese People Can Break Free from the CCP’s Shackles and Have the Freedom to Have Their Own Beliefs”

Mr. Hao, a computer engineer, has practiced Falun Dafa for nine years. He feels fortunate and said, “Although there are ups and downs, I kept progressing on this path. I finally found Falun Dafa and embarked on my path of cultivation.”

He remembers an image that he saw when he was still a baby—light shining through a small circular window from the roof of his family’s old house. He said, “I felt that it is very bright outside but very dark inside. I originally came from that shining place.” When he got older he often asked, “Who am I? Where do humans come from? Where am I going?”

Mr. Hao did well in school. Although he majored in IT, he had a strong interest in finances. After graduating from the university he taught himself finances and accounting so he could become financially independent. He also studied fundamental analysis and did some investing. In the process, Mr. Hao started to come into contact with China’s finances.

Mr. Hao said, “Even before 2007, I felt the CCP’s economy is a Ponzi Scheme. It’s like a castle built on sand, which will collapse in a matter of minutes.”

He learned the history of China after the CCP seized the power. From the Three Anti’s and Five Anti’s, the Cultural Revolution to the June 4th Tiananmen Massacre, Mr. Hao researched the CCP’s crimes. These discoveries helped him have a clearer understanding of the CCP. He thought, “People need to look at everything the CCP says in the opposite light. The things it says are good are definitely bad. The things it says are bad, are usually good.”

Before he began practicing Falun Dafa he accompanied his family to a park and he suddenly saw the name of Falun Dafa’s founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi, appear in dimensional space in front of his forehead. They were three big red words that were written clearly in traditional Chinese calligraphy. At that time, he just felt a little weird. In 2016 when he found Zhuan Falun, Master’s lectures and exercise teaching videos on the Falun Dafa website (falundafa.org), he understood that things that happened in his life were step-by-step preparations for his chance to obtain the Fa.

He feels Dafa’s Fa principles are vast and profound and they resolved many mysteries, “As soon as I read Zhuan Falun, I was hooked. The more I read it, the more I understood. I understood what humankind is all about, what the universe is about, where we came from and where we are going. The first time I read the book, I thought, ‘Wow, I must practice Falun Dafa!’”

When Mr. Hao looked at the world from a cultivator’s perspective, he sees that people are immersed in suffering and confusion of the impermanence of birth, aging, sickness and death, and he feels they are pitiful. He hopes that people awaken and learn about Dafa, especially Chinese people.

Mr. Hao said, “The CCP systematically poisons people. The Chinese people should break free from the CCP’s shackles and return to their traditional beliefs. Only in this way will there be hope for morals and virtue to return.”

Young Falun Dafa Practitioner: Clarifying the Truth Is Our Responsibility

Senior human resources specialist, Ms. Liang, said she began practicing Falun Dafa with her parents thirty years ago when she was a child. Before she began practicing her leg hurt whenever it rained. The pain disappeared after she began practicing.

When the persecution started she asked herself, “Do I want to continue practicing? My answer was, ‘Yes, I will keep practicing.’”

From an innocent child to a mature young adult, Ms. Liang says Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance guided her through the different phases in her life and greatly benefited her, “When things don’t go my way at school or at work, the Fa principles in Zhuan Falun help me understand why this is happening. After learning about cause and effect, I’m no longer unhappy.”

The CCP’s lies spread throughout the world so she deeply feels the importance of clarifying the truth to people. Over these years, people awaken after learning the truth about Falun Dafa and this deeply impressed her. One of Ms. Liang’s classmates was able to differentiate between right and wrong in the face of CCP’s lies because Ms. Liang clarified the truth to her. A coworker asked her about Falun Dafa and understood why CCP censors the Internet and persecutes practitioners.

She said, “I hope that people can see the CCP’s true nature and how it persecutes Falun Dafa practitioners. I hope that they do not hold hatred against Falun Dafa because of the fake negative news that they see on the Internet.”

Practitioners held a candlelight vigil in Hong Lim Park on July 15, 2025 to remember the Falun Dafa practitioners who were persecuted to death.

Candles were once again lit this year as practitioners commemorated those who were persecuted to death for their steadfast belief in Falun Dafa.
