(Minghui.org) From the end of April to early May 2025, a practitioner visited numerous Tibetan schools to introduce Falun Dafa. During the sessions, students learned the exercises, its principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance, and about the practice’s history and current persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

Many students and staff members, including headmasters and principals, attended the Falun Dafa sessions, and afterwards said they felt peaceful, happy, relaxed, and full of energy. The attendees acknowledged the significance of Falun Dafa’s three core principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. They were also touched and appalled to learn about the 26-year-long persecution of Falun Dafa in China.
The practitioner had previously interacted with many Tibetans when she visited remote parts of India over the years. They expressed their wish that one day she might also conduct Falun Dafa sessions in the Tibetan schools in Southern India. She visited the schools this year.
She journeyed for over 40 hours on a once-in-a-week train from her home. Her destination was a quiet, unassuming Tibetan colony tucked away among the low hills and paddy fields, nicknamed the “Mini Tibet in India.”
There are several sprawling monasteries in the area. Some of them are replicas of Tibet’s ancient Monastic Universities, which were destroyed by the CCP in 1959. Thousands of monks pursue their theological studies here. These magnificent monasteries are more than their aesthetic appeal; they preserve centuries-old traditional knowledge and Tibetan Buddhism’s religious texts.
When the CCP began eradicating Buddhism in Tibet, thousands of persecuted Tibetans fled over the Himalayas to seek refuge in India. The network of schools in India provide education and preserve Tibetan language, culture, and tradition for the refugees and diaspora communities, and also local Indians and Nepalese.
The practitioner has visited many Tibetan schools across India since 2010 and received many letters of appreciation. Several Tibetans recognized Falun Dafa from previous tutorial sessions. A young Tibetan doctor told the practitioner that she attended a Falun Dafa session in her school in Ladakh when she was in 5th or 6th grade.
During the informational sessions, Tibetans learned about the ongoing persecution of Falun Dafa. As another minority that is persecuted by the CCP, Tibetans expressed sympathy for the suffering of Falun Dafa practitioners in China. They often express gratitude that Falun Dafa practitioners are raising awareness of the persecution, as spreading this awareness can help everyone in China who is persecuted and whose basic human rights are snatched away.
The practitioner encouraged Tibetans to read the book Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party to gain a deeper understanding of the Chinese regime and how it fights against the divine and moral traditions.
All the school libraries and the community’s main library warmly received Falun Dafa informational materials. Various key persons of responsibility also expressed their good wishes upon receiving the informational materials, and volunteered to distribute them. Many shops and restaurants accepted the request to put up Falun Dafa posters on their premises.
