(Minghui.org) The annual Multicultural Festival was held in Kennedy Park of Aachen, Germany, on June 22, 2025. Falun Gong practitioners set up a booth to show people the benefits of Falun Dafa, also known as Falun Gong, an ancient cultivation practice.

A Celebration of Different Cultural Characteristics

The Multicultural Festival was a colorful celebration of diversity, cultural exchange and shared values. Various cultural associations residing in Aachen and the surrounding area displayed original foods, handicrafts, as well as clothing and information materials of their national cultures, located at colorful stands around the park.

A Celebration of Conscience, Humanity, and Hope

The festival is not only a celebration of culture, but also a celebration of conscience, humanity, and hope. Beyond dance and music, the festival is a reminder that as human beings – regardless of origin, language, or religion – we can support each other and stand up for justice.

Falun Gong practitioners not only demonstrated the exercises, but also exposed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)’s crime of organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, and collected signatures to stop the persecution of Falun Gong.

After signing his name, an elderly German man in a wheelchair said calmly and firmly: “This Chinese Communist Party can only collapse from within.”

A Turkish mother and her three daughters received a flier. Since she did not understand German, one of her daughters translated the content of the flier for her. After learning the background of the petition, the mother signed it and asked her three daughters to sign as well, expressing their support for Falun Gong’s anti-persecution efforts.

A middle-aged German with a thick bandage on his right arm was eager to sign after learning the truth. At first he tried to use his left hand, but it didn’t work. Finally, he insisted on using his injured right thumb to pick up the pen and signed his name with great effort.

A woman took a flier and stood aside to read it. As she was reading, she heard another woman talking to several Falun Gong practitioners. She joined the conversation since she doubted whether such a signature would truly make a difference.

A practitioner explained that petitioning is an expression of people’s voice, recognition of justice, and rejection of injustice. Especially in a free society, change begins with awareness and attitude.

After hearing the explanation, one woman said calmly but firmly: “I don’t know if this will help. But when I hear about crimes like this, I can’t remain silent.” Both women signed the petition.

During that day, Falun Gong practitioners collected numerous signatures that expressed people’s sympathy and solidarity with the victims, as well as their hope that the world would become a better place.
