(Minghui.org) A few practitioners recently got together to read Zhuan Falun and discuss our cultivation experiences and efforts to save people. I wrote down what we talked about so we can improve as one body.
An elderly practitioner recently suffered severe illness karma and could not eat for days. Wang wanted to help her, and went to talk to her.
The elderly practitioner said that a few years ago her children, out of filial piety, bought her a set of funeral clothes, and she put them in her wardrobe. Wang told her that birth, old age, sickness, and death are human notions that we should eliminate. Falun Dafa teaches cultivation of both body and mind. As we continued to practice, Master Li will prolong our lives, and make us younger. Master removed the names of practitioners from the Three Realms, including Hell. We no longer belong in the Three Realms, which means there will not be birth, old age, sickness, or death for us.
The elderly practitioner changed her notions and stopped thinking she was sick. She repented in front of Master’s photo and said she would not walk the path the old forces arranged, and would follow only Master’s arrangements. She put away her funeral clothes. She was soon able to eat again, and regained her health.
While listening to Wang, Bai had a sudden realization. She said a few years ago she became very sick, to the point that she was nearly blind, and felt that her life was about to end. She called her children to her bedside, and divided her property. She later recovered but she did not measure her thoughts and the ordeal she suffered with the Fa. Wang’s story made her realize that she had also accepted the notion of birth, old age, sickness, and death when she thought that her life was coming to an end. As a result, she continued to suffer sickness karma on and off in the past few years.
Wang said a practitioner told her about a dream she had. In her dream, the practitioner was giving out Falun Dafa informational materials in a corridor inside a building. She heard Master say that everyone in that building, along with numerous sentient beings, were still waiting to be saved, but too few practitioners went out to clarify the truth.
Bai said that very few practitioners in our local area were producing informational materials after a mass persecution event that took place several years ago. There were also few practitioners who went out to clarify the truth face to face.
We all realized that Master was urging us to compare in Fa study and cultivation through the dream and Bai’s comments. Master wanted us to go out to save people quickly.
Ding said that practitioners outside of China sometimes had to drive hours to go to tourist attractions to clarify the truth to Chinese tourists. For practitioners in China, we meet Chinese people as soon as we step outside. It would be a shame if we didn’t cherish the opportunity to save them.
We began to wonder what was stopping us from going out to clarify the truth.
After exchanging our thoughts, we realized that the issue was our fear. In the past 26 years of persecution, most practitioners have been persecuted. We did not want to go through it again, and just wanted to stay safe until the Fa rectifies the human world. Fear was preventing us from striving forward diligently and saving more people. This notion came from us not studying the Fa enough, not believing in Master and the Fa enough, and not having enough compassion for people. We hadn’t eliminated our human attachments, emotions, and thoughts.
Bai has done well in clarifying the truth face to face and helping people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations. She told us that there was no need to fear because the evils were nearly extinct, and that we should go out as much as possible and talk to people at bus stops and markets. She said she sends righteous thoughts before she leaves home: Let the beings come listen to the truth.
Bai also said that the old forces have created tribulations for us by abusing the principle of mutual generation and mutual inhibition. The divine beings who came to this world to save people were smeared and persecuted. This is wrong. Master does not acknowledge it, and neither should we.
She reminded us that we should send righteous thoughts to eliminate the system the old forces installed in us. The old forces’ system generates negative factors such as fear in order to interfere with us.
We should do our best to go out and save people in every way we know how. This way we are not letting down the beings who placed their hope in us.
