(Minghui.org) I was engaged in the pesticide business beginning in 1985—initially as a distributor and later as a manufacturer. Between 1986 and 1998, I held distribution rights for a major company and several others in my region. Unfortunately, due to delays in my accounts I was unable to pay an large outstanding payment on time and the major company no longer did business with me. I continued distributing for the other companies and I also started my own manufacturing business.

I heard about Falun Dafa in Christchurch, New Zealand in 2007. I began doing the exercises, and reading Zhuan Falun. By reading Zhuan Falun I understood how to be a good person and I paid attention to my behavior.

One sentence in particular left a lasting impression on me:

“If a debt is owed, it must be paid. Therefore, some dangerous things may occur in the course of cultivation.” (Lecture Three, Zhuan Falun)

I remembered this and other similar teachings. I regularly sent messages to the managing director regarding the debt, but there was no response. I found myself in a dilemma—should I persist or simply let go of the matter (out of a selfish mindset)?

Years passed without any reply. I continued to send gentle reminders. As a Falun Dafa practitioner I knew this debt had to be paid.

I recently sent him another message. To my surprise, this time he replied, and said he’d soon be visiting my city. Since I was abroad at the time, I asked my brother to meet him and repay the amount on my behalf. My brother met with him and completed the payment.

I told the managing director that I practiced Falun Dafa since 2007, and I explained that Falun Dafa is an advanced cultivation practice of mind and body based on the universal principles of Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance. It has five exercises which improve one’s body, and to improve one’s mind, there is a book, Zhuan Falun. Falun Dafa is practiced in 100 countries. I explained that I followed Master’s teachings and I knew I needed to pay the debt.

I also clarified the truth about Falun Dafa, and said that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) banned Falun Dafa in China and extracts organs from Falun Dafa practitioners while they are still alive.

A heavy burden that weighed on my heart for many years was finally lifted. Interestingly, the managing director had completely forgotten about the debt.

After receiving the payment, he sent me a message: “I appreciate your gesture, which is very noble.”

I am deeply grateful to Master for guiding me with such compassion and clarity through Zhuan Falun. It is only through Dafa that I was able to understand the true meaning of integrity, responsibility, and cultivation. With heartfelt gratitude, I bow to Master.
