(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 14 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

2. [Da’an City, Jilin Province Province] Three Practitioners Arrested
3. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Several Practitioners Arrested
4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Fenglian Again Taken to Detention Center
5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shuxiang Arrested
6. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhu Yuling’s Release on Parole Reprocessed and Extended; Ms. Wang Liuzhen Detained
7. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] 79-Year-Old Ms. Huang You Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

1. [Beijing] Ms. Wang Shuhui Arrested

Ms. Wang Shuhui, around 60, from the Fangshan District was arrested in mid-May 2025, when she was living away from home to avoid the persecution. She is being held in the Fangshan District Detention Center.

2. [Da’an City, Jilin Province Province] Three Practitioners Arrested

Practitioners Li Yandong, Ms. Geng Jiqiu, and Ms. Dong Lianzhi were arrested on the afternoon of June 3, 2025, by officers from Da’an City Domestic Security Division. The police raided Li’s home that evening. The practitioners’ whereabouts are unknown.

3. [Yi County, Liaoning Province] Six Practitioners Arrested

Mr. Yin Qun was arrested at home by officers from Yi County Domestic Security Division at 5 a.m. on June 3, 2025. They ransacked his home and confiscated Falun Gong books.

Five more practitioners were also arrested on June 3, including Wu Shimin, Zhao Xia, Zheng Baicheng, Yan, and a practitioner whose name wasn’t known.

4. [Handan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Fenglian Again Taken to Detention Center

Ms. Yang Fenglian was arrested on the evening of February 19, 2025, and released after being detained for a month. She was arrested again and taken to the detention center on May 30, 2025. The police ransacked her home and confiscated some cash, bank cards, and an ID card. Her private car was also impounded.

5. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Shuxiang Arrested

Ms. Li Shuxiang from the Weicheng District was reported to the police for talking to people about Falun Gong on May 28, 2025. She was arrested and taken to Weifang City Detention Center by Domestic Security Division officers.

6. [Huizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhu Yuling Faces Indictment; Ms. Wang Liuzhen Detained

Ms. Zhu Yuling was arrested on April 11, 2024, and released on a one-year bail shortly after. The police extended her bail condition in April 2025. She is now facing prosecution after the police submitted her case to the Procuratorate.

Ms. Wang Liuzhen was arrested at work and had her bag searched on May 12, 2025. The police claimed that she was recorded by surveillance cameras while distributing Falun Gong materials. The police raided her home and interrogated her that evening. She was detained for 10 days and then released.

7. [Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province] 79-Year-Old Ms. Huang You Sentenced to Four Years in Prison

Ms. Huang You, 79, was sentenced to four years in prison by Shenzhen City Court in January 2025. She has been admitted to the Guangdong Province Women’s Prison.
