(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 7 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 15 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Tao Yushuang, 69, of Yangcun Town in the Wuqing District was arrested by Yucai Road Police Station officers on the morning of April 23, 2025. They ransacked her home and seized a copy of Zhuan Falun and two pictures of the founder of Falun Gong. She is being held in the Wuqing Detention Center.
Guo and Wang, whose first names and genders are unknown, live in the county seat. Their homes were ransacked by Gucheng Police Station officers on April 24, 2025.
Ms. Cui Xiaohong was arrested at home on April 22, 2025.
Ms. Zhou, first name unknown, a teacher living in the Yuefang Residential District, was harassed at home on the afternoon of April 15, 2025. Her Falun Gong books were confiscated. Six other practitioners, who were visiting Ms. Zhou, were also arrested and taken to Wangyue Road Police Station to be interrogated and photographed. They were Ms. Liu Bilian, 85; Ms. Liu Aijie, 80; Mr. Shi, 70, first name unknown; Muzi (nickname), in her 50s; and three others whose names were unknown. Their family members were called to the police station and ordered to sign their bail release statements before taking their loved ones home.
Ms. Wang Yanmei of Yaojiayuan Village, Pingfang Township, the Chaoyang District, was harassed at home by Yicheng Residential District clerks, community officer, and community properties workers on the evening of April 21, 2025. She was told not to leave home from 8 p.m. on April 21 to 12 a.m. on April 26. Two security personnel have been staked out in front of her home 24 hours a day.
Ms. Guo Meiying, 85, was harassed at home by Shen Qi, Niujie Police Station political commissar and members of the Niujie Resident Committee on April 22, 2025. Unidentified officers have been posted in front of her apartment building 24 hours a day since April 23.
Ms. Yang Xiaohui was monitored and followed by five plainclothes officers from the Hecheng District Police Department on the morning of April 14, 2025. Her home was ransacked and her Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Ms. Zhang Shuying, around 65, had her home ransacked by Tiexi District Domestic Security Division officers on the afternoon of April 25, 2025.
