(Minghui.org) May 13, 2025 is the 26^th World Falun Dafa Day and the 33^rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s public introduction. The cities of Kingston, Belleville, and Quinte West in central Ontario, Canada, issued proclamations and a greeting letter to mark the occasion and to commend Dafa’s principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance. The City of Kingston has issued a proclamation for Falun Dafa Day for 18 consecutive years.

Proclamation from the City of Kingston

The proclamation from the City of Kingston reads, “Whereas Falun Dafa is an advanced cultivation practice system for mind, body, and spirit based on the principle of Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance; and

“Whereas Falun Dafa was first introduced to the world in 1992 by Mr. Li Hongzhi; and has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to improving health in mind, body and spirit, and to enhancing the well-being of people from all walks of society, who follow its tenets; and

“Whereas the physical and spiritual benefits of Falun Dafa have led to its spread throughout 114 countries with over 100 million practitioners; and

“Whereas the great compassion and forbearance demonstrated by Falun Dafa practitioners have touched the hearts of kind-hearted people all over the world; and

“Whereas Falun Dafa practitioners in the community across Canada celebrated the Falun Dafa Day on May 13th. Therefore, I, Mayor Bryan Paterson, on behalf of Kingston City Council, hereby proclaim May 13, 2025 as “Falun Dafa Day” in the City of Kingston.”
