Columbus, Ohio: Practitioners Celebrate World Falun Dafa Day

(Minghui.org) Practitioners held an event in Columbus, the capital of Ohio, on May 6, 2025, to share the beauty of Falun Dafa with the public and to celebrate the 33rd anniversary of Falun Dafa’s introduction to the world, as well as the birthday of its founder, Mr. Li Hongzhi.

Despite the rain and low temperatures, practitioners arranged display boards and banners to introduce Falun Dafa and its benefits, while also exposing the ongoing persecution by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). In the cold wind and rain, they expressed their gratitude for their founder’s compassionate guidance.

Public Shows Support for Falun Gong

Practitioners used display boards and banners to share the beauty of Falun Dafa with the public and to tell people about the CCP’s 26-year-long brutal persecution.

A woman asked a practitioner, “What can I do to help you?”

Another young woman came out of an office building across the street and stood in the rain to take a flyer. She wanted to learn more about Falun Dafa.

The event happened around the time when the “Falun Gong Protection Act” was being passed in the U.S. House of Representatives. Practitioners explained the importance of the act. The young woman listened attentively and expressed her support.

One woman asked a practitioner, “Can you walk with me? I’m going to get lunch.” As they walked, the practitioner explained about Falun Dafa and why practitioners were collecting signatures. The woman understood, signed the petition, and accepted a flyer.

A security staff member responsible for the area near the state government building who was observing the event told practitioners that he planned to learn more about Falun Dafa.

Practitioners tell also people about Falun Dafa at Ohio State University.

Some practitioners went to Ohio State University to introduce Falun Dafa and share the facts. It was graduation day, and many soon-to-be graduates learned about Falun Dafa. Many students and faculty members asked for information, and some spoke with practitioners to learn more about Falun Dafa.
