1. [Xingtai City, Hebei Province] Ms. Hu Hui Loses Appeal Against a Four-Year Prison Sentence

Ms. Hu Hui was arrested in July 2023 and sentenced to four years by the Ningjin County Court in October 2024. She appealed with the Xingtai City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold the original verdict in November 2024. She was admitted to the 14th division of Hebei Province Women’s Prison on February 19, 2025.

2. [Guiyang City, Guizhou Province] Ms. Gao Qingdi Detained

Ms. Gao Qingdi was arrested by officers from the Nanming District Domestic Security Division on March 4, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She is currently detained in the Sanjiang Detention Center.

3. [Shenyang City, Liaoning Province] Three Practitioners Sentenced Up to 8 Years in Prison

Three practitioners were sentenced by the Dadong District Court in March 2025. Ms. Meng Qingjie, a retired teacher, was sentenced to 8 years in prison and fined 50,000 yuan. Mr. Zhang Huiqiang, an engineer from Fushun City, was sentenced to four and a half years in prison and fined 20,000 yuan. Ms. Yu Guichun, in her 70s, was sentenced to eight years in prison and fined 60,000 yuan.

4. [Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Ms. Zhang Lifang Arrested

Ms. Zhang Lifang from Guyuan City was arrested in late March 2025.

5. [Changle County, Shandong Province] Ms. Ji Huiying Faces Prosecution

The officers from the Changle County Domestic Security Division harassed 75-year-old Ms. Ji Huiying at home several times since March 18, 2025. They came again on the morning of March 26, 2025 and took Ms. Ji to a hospital for a physical exam. She was sent home late that night. The police indicated that they were seeking to prosecute her.

Ms. JI was previously arrested in 2019 and sentenced to three years. While she was allowed to serve time at home, the mental distress took a toll on her health. She has had three strokes since, yet the police continue to harass her and are threatening to sentence her again.

6. [Xiangtan City, Hunan Province] Ms. Fan Xihua’s Falun Gong Books Are Confiscated at the Train Station

Ms. Fan Xihua, 82, was stopped at the security checkpoint in Xiangtan City North Train Station on the afternoon of December 15, 2024, when she was about to take the train to visit her son in Shanghai. Her suitcase was searched and her twelve Falun Gong books were confiscated.
