(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 4 provinces, where at least 20 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Face Trial

1. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ten Practitioners Face Trial

Ten practitioners, including Mr. Wang Nanfang, Mr. Zhou Shuyou, Mr. Wang Zexing, Ms. Hu Fengju, Ms. Hu Mingli, Ms. Li Suqin, Ms. Lai Chunlian, Mr. Wang Guogang, Ms. Huang Yuping, and Mr. Liu Haitao, were indicted by the Wanghua District Procuratorate around February 20, 2025. They are facing trial by the Wanghua District Court.

2. [Yongqing County, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Guijuan Faces Trial

Ms. Yang Guijuan, of Yongqing County, Hebei Province, was arrested in Jiaxing City, Zhejiang Province on October 12, 2024, while working there. She was indicted by the Tongxiang City Procuratorate around February 2025, and is now facing trial by the Tongxiang City Court. Tongxiang City is under the jurisdiction of Jiaxing.

3. [Xiangxi Prefecture, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Admitted to Prison

Three practitioners were sentenced to prison by the Huayuan County Court in August 2024, with Ms. Nie Jingxia receiving four years, Ms. Xiao Yongkang three years, and Mr. Liang Song two years. Ms. Xiao appealed to the Xiangxi Prefecture Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold her original sentence.

Both Ms. Nie and Ms. Xiao were admitted to Hunan Province Women’s Prison in the capital city of Changsha. Ms. Xiao is now being held in the high-security division. She was found to have high blood pressure and a kidney cyst measuring 20mm by 16mm in October 2024.

Mr. Liang is currently serving time in Zhuzhou Prison.

4. [Gaomi City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Three practitioners, including Zan Yuxin (gender unknown), Ms. Zan Ruilian, and Ms. Shan Shuli, were harassed at home by officers from the Xiguan Police Station in February 2025. The officers broke into their homes and forcibly took their blood samples.

5. [Baoding City, Hebei Province] Three Practitioners Harassed

Three practitioners, including Ms. Qu Shumin, Ms. Jiao Deqin, and Xiuhua (female and last name unknown), were harassed by Li Weidong and two others from the Yongyang Town Police Station on February 14, 2025. Zhang Donghua, from Xinggong Village, Yongyang Town, led the police to the practitioners’ homes.
