1. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Li Xiuling Sentenced to Prison

Ms. Li Xiuling was arrested on June 5, 2024. She has been sentenced to four years in prison. She was taken to Jilin Province Women’s Prison in December 2024.

2. [Hanchuan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Wang Yanhong Tried

Ms. Wang Yanhong, 50, was tried by the Yingcheng City Court at 9 a.m. on January 16, 2025.

Ms. Wang was arrested by officers from the Xiaohe Police Station on October 2, 2024. She was held in the Hanchuan City Second Detention Center.

3. [Tangshan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Meng Xiuyun Arrested

Ms. Meng Xiuyun from Luannan County was arrested while talking to people about Falun Gong at the Xuanzhuang farmer's market in Fengnan District, on the morning of January 16, 2025. Officers from Tangshan City Police Department ransacked her home that afternoon. She is being held in Fengnan District Detention Center.

4. [Mei County, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhong Yuanying Convicted for Practicing Falun Gong

Ms. Zhong Yuanying was sentenced to one and a half years with two years probation and a 30,000-yuan fine by Mei County Court around mid-January 2025.

5. [Shulan City, Jilin Province] Ms. Guo Qingfen Listed as a Fugitive Online

Ms. Guo Qingfen went to her daughter’s home to spent New Year holidays on December 28, 2024. She was arrested by officers from the Tielu Police Station in Jilin City. It was reported that she was listed as a fugitive online by the Shulan police. She was ordered by the local court to sign some paperwork on January 17, 2025. It’s not clear whether she complied.

6. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Pan Haoqiu Arrested

Ms. Pan Haoqiu, from Ping’ancheng Town, Zunhua City, was arrested by officers from Ping’ancheng Town Police Station while she was distributing Falun Gong materials on January 13, 2025. Her home was ransacked.

7. [Changchun City, Jilin Province] Ms. Zheng Shulan’s Case Brought to Court

Ms. Zheng Shulan was arrested by officers from East Chaoyanglu Police Station in Chaoyang District on September 12, 2024. She was indicted around January 2025 and is now facing trial.

8. [Beijing] Ms. Wei Suwen’s Case Brought to Court

Ms. Wei Suwen from Xicheng District was arrested by officers from the Tiantan Police Station on August 15, 2024. Her case was submitted to the Dongcheng District Court on January 16, 2025 and she is now facing trial.

9. [Hulan City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Gao Hongbin Becomes Incapacitated While Serving Time in Prison

According to an insider who was released from Hulan Prison recently, Mr. Gao Hongbin, a teacher at Daqing Iron Man School who is currently serving time there, has become incapacitated and could not take care of himself as a result of the torture there.
