(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 6 cities or counties in 3 provinces, where at least 13 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Zhan’an Held in Prison
7. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

1. [Weifang City, Shandong Province] Ms. Li Xue Held in Solitary Confinement While Serving a Ten-Year Term in Prison

Ms. Li Xue was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2015. She was held in Shandong Province Women’s Prison. Because she refused to renounce Falun Gong, she was put in solitary confinement and tortured.

2. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Fei Faces Trial

Ms. Zhao Fei from Shigezhuang Town in the Wuqing District was scheduled to be tried at 2 p.m. on February 17, 2025, in the Wuqing District Court.

3. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Zhou Lina Faces Trial

Ms. Zhou Lina from Beizhen City was scheduled to be tried at 10 a.m. on February 18, 2025, at Linghai City Court. She is being held in Jinzhou City Women’s Prison.

4. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Mr. Zhang Mingyu Detained for 15 Days

Mr. Zhang Mingyu, 68, from Fujin City was arrested at home on February 7, 2025. He was detained for five days. When his family went to Fujin Detention Center to pick him up on the fifth day, detention center officials refused to release him. They said that the Domestic Security Division had extended Mr. Zhang’s detention by another 10 days, totaling 15 days, on the grounds that he posted stickers with information about Falun Gong during the COVID-19 pandemic.

5. [Dongying City, Shandong Province] Three Practitioners Still Held in Binhai Detention Center

Ms. Wang Fan, Mr. Du Jianxin, and Mr. Fu Jian have been held in Binhai Detention Center since their arrests on November 29, 2023, by the Binnan District Domestic Security Division. They had made three court appearances since then, but no verdicts have been announced and the authorities refuse to release them.

6. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Mr. Zhang Zhan’an Held in Prison

Mr. Zhang Zhan’an is currently held in Dalian Prison. His exact prison term isn’t clear.

7. [Xinbin County, Liaoning Province] Five Practitioners Arrested

Officers from the Xinbin County Domestic Security Division and Yongling Town Police Station went to Ms. Wang Shuqing’s home in the Donggang Residential Community in Yongling Town on the morning of February 12, 2025. They arrested several practitioners, including Dai Fuyun, Ju Haiying, Huang Yi, and Ms. Zhang Fengjun, who were studying Falun Gong’s teachings together at Ms. Wang’s home.

The officers confiscated the practitioners’ Falun Gong books and a small speaker before taking them to the police station. The practitioners were released after being deposed. The police also intended to arrest Ms. Wang, but relented due to her leg problems.
