(Minghui.org) Looking back on the touching stories I encountered over the years while sharing the facts about Falun Dafa with people and helping them withdraw from the Chinese Communist Party and its affiliated organizations, I have written them down to share with fellow practitioners.
A young factory owner had an exhibit beside our company’s booth at a trade show. While there, I shared facts about Falun Dafa and the persecution with him and urged him to withdraw from the Communist Party. However, he refused and went back to his booth. Later, I purchased his products for export.
One day, he unexpectedly said that he would visit me, but did not explain the purpose. He flew for over an hour, and then traveled another hour from the airport just to have lunch with me. Throughout our conversation, he never mentioned business.
I shared facts about Falun Dafa again and urged him to withdraw from the Communist Party. He gladly agreed to withdraw. After lunch, he rushed to the airport and flew straight back to his factory. I never saw him again.
He flew here and back home in a single day just to have a meal with me. Why? Not to thank me for purchasing his products, nor to secure more future orders. He came seeking help.
There was a capable female sales rep who went rogue, became corrupt, and scammed numerous business owners in our industry. She swindled me out of tens of thousands of yuan, too. One business owner in his fifties lost over 100,000 yuan to her. Although I didn’t know him personally, he tracked down my number, flew to my city, and angrily criticized the sales rep and her fraudulent conduct.
I explained some facts about Dafa to him. Believing in Buddhism himself, he naturally understood the reality of the persecution. After withdrawing from the Communist Party, he flew back to his factory. Although he had been swindled and came to me to vent his grievances, he also gained a future. How wondrous are the karmic connections that lead beings to salvation?
I remember a woman whose husband worked for the security bureau. After listening to me share the facts about Dafa and discuss withdrawing from the Communist Party, this reserved and seemingly guarded woman murmured to herself, “It all makes perfect sense now.”
An old friend, already a wealthy man in Beijing in the early 1990s and with connections to members of the CCP’s Politburo and ministerial-level officials, readily agreed to withdraw from the CCP after I called him. His words revealed extreme distrust, disdain, and dissatisfaction with the CCP.
Ten years ago, I met a close college friend who was the deputy general manager of a provincial newspaper’s bureau in the provincial capital. She had long since come to understand the facts about Falun Dafa and withdrawn from the Party. As the lead writer for the front page of the provincial newspaper, she was troubled by having to fabricate praise for high-ranking officials like the mayor and by her deep-seated hatred for the evil Party. This internal conflict led to mental distress and eventually to depression. Having seen through the CCP, she earnestly asked me, “When will it (CCP) fall? When will it fall?”
Years ago, I returned to my hometown to share the truth with family and friends. One childhood friend was a classmate from elementary school. This associate professor had already withdrawn from the Communist Party, its Youth League, and its Young Pioneers. I went to share accurate information about Falun Dafa with his parents.
They were both in their 80s. His father had retired from a tobacco company. His mother readily accepted the truth and withdrew from the CCP organizations, but his father had suffered from dementia for a long time. His mother said he was confused and that talking to him was useless. As I shared the facts, his father kept interrupting, saying, “It’s useless.”
Before leaving, compassion for the husband welled up in my heart, so I urged him to withdraw from the Young Pioneers. Unexpectedly, the old man agreed. Then his blank face suddenly lit up with a clear, radiant smile. He warmly took my hand and twice asked, “How can you be so kind?” This shows that we must not make assumptions based on false appearances—we should speak the truth to all.
Reflecting on these experiences also motivates me to talk about Dafa with more people. So many precious fellow countrymen are waiting for Dafa disciples to tell them the facts and offer a bright future. We must keep up the good work!
