(Minghui.org) I’m 75 years old and I live in the countryside. I didn’t have a formal education. I started practicing Falun Dafa in 1998. Looking back at my cultivation journey, I’ve overcome hardships and difficulties thanks to Master’s protection, and thoughtful arrangement. Thank you, Master, for your protection. Thank you, fellow practitioners for your selfless care and for helping me. I’d like to share some of the stories I personally experienced and report them to Master so as to validate that Falun Dafa is amazing.
I suffered from serious chest effusion, heart problems and high blood pressure when I was 40 years old. I stayed in the county hospital for one week but I didn’t get better. I had to work despite my illnesses. I couldn’t eat or sleep properly and I was in constant pain. I still needed to take care of my four children. My life was miserable.
My husband worked and lived in another city. He had a lover and didn’t care about our family. When he came home, he beat me to vent his anger.
I am a traditional woman and I didn’t argue with him or hit back. I felt my life was bitter. I wanted to commit suicide, but I was worried about my children. If they lost their mother, life would be harder for them. My children were my hope. For their sake I must go forward and remain strong.
In 1998 my health deteriorated rapidly. A relative who didn’t see me often came to visit and asked me what was wrong. When I told her about my health, she said, “Practice Falun Dafa. I’ll show you how to do the exercises. Dafa can help resolve illness. As long as you have the sincere wish to cultivate yourself, you can regain your health.” She gave some examples.
I didn’t know anything about cultivation—I just wanted to heal my illnesses. If my health improved, I’d practice. So I asked her to show me the exercises.
I contacted other practitioners after she left. I read Zhuan Falun with them in the evening and I went to the practice site every morning and did the exercises. I felt my body become lighter and lighter and my health improved each day. In less than one month, all my illnesses disappeared. I felt that this was not an ordinary practice. I felt happy every day and I began to smile. I felt like a new person. I even gained weight.
I couldn’t read so I listened attentively when the other practitioners read the Fa. I pointed at each word when they read. I asked my children to teach me to read. About a year later I was able to read Zhuan Falun. My relatives and friends saw my amazing changes and said that Falun Dafa was miraculous. I recovered from all my illnesses in less than a month after I started practicing Falun Dafa and I could read the books! It was truly amazing!
I took a walk to the Culture Square with an elderly neighbor after dinner one day in August 2016. I wanted to clarify the truth about the persecution to people. As we walked on, a car suddenly drove straight towards us and hit me squarely. The car kept driving and I rolled underneath the car before it stopped.
The driver was terrified. The other woman was thrown to the ground and I was under the car. The man called for an ambulance.
We were sent to the hospital. The examination showed I wasn’t injured—even my skin wasn’t broken, while the elderly neighbor’s two ribs on her right side were fractured and her lower spine was dislocated. She couldn’t stand up and needed to be hospitalized for treatment.
I practice Falun Dafa. My thought was pure at that time. Master protected me and I wasn’t injured. Thank you, Master, for your saving grace! My neighbor is not a practitioner. The result was different. She stayed in the hospital for one month and her medical bill was more than 10,000 yuan. Even now she cannot stand straight. The insurance company wanted to give me money. I said, “I practice Falun Dafa. I wasn’t injured. I don’t want the money. The driver didn’t hit me intentionally.” The insurance officer was very thankful. During the process, I clarified the truth to his general manager and helped him quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
I refused the money after the accident, but my family didn’t agree. They said, “You were frightened when you were under the car. They should compensate you for the mental distress. The other woman was injured badly. The risk rate was very high and you may have died. Master protected you and you were safe.”
I talked to them repeatedly and they finally agreed, but they said I was foolish. Other people also said that I was a good person, but a bit foolish. Such a big incident happened, but I didn’t ask for any money.
My sister was sick and I went to her home to look after her for two months. When I returned, I felt something wasn’t right. I asked my son. He asked me not to worry and it had nothing to do with me. I asked him whether he accepted any money. He didn’t say anything. I kept asking him and finally he said that the son of our neighbor asked for money because his mother couldn’t stand straight. The driver gave us 4,000 yuan.
My son said his father had the money. I told my husband that we shouldn’t take it because I wasn’t injured. He didn’t say anything and gave the money to our son. After a while, my daughter-in-law was hospitalized to have a tumor removed. The doctor said if it was not removed, it would grow bigger and bigger. Her bill was 4,000 yuan. So if something isn’t yours, you will lose it or maybe you’ll have a tribulation. This is a Heavenly principle. People must do good deeds and be kind no matter how poor you are. This way you can accumulate virtue for future generations.
I went to the insurance company to check if everything was finalized. The general manager was not there. His employee told me that I lodged a complaint against the insurance company. They had a copy of my household registration, ID card and my photo. The compensation was 80,000 yuan.
Who lodged the complaint in my name? My family members didn’t know either. I discussed this with the other practitioners. They suggested that I withdraw the complaint. The next day I did.
My sister and I took an electric cart to the countryside to clarify the truth to people. Suddenly a big motorcycle drove straight toward us and hit us head-on. The front glass of our cart was broken and the front of the cart was damaged. My sister’s chest was hit. I shouted, “Master, please save us!” My sister was fine. The driver and I were not injured. The motorcycle driver was hit badly on his foot and went to the emergency clinic. Thank you, Master, for protecting us again!
We three sisters went back to our hometown to sweep our parents’ tomb during the Qingming Festival. On the way back, we took the electric cart. The cart fell into a ditch on the roadside. My grandson hurt his head and had a big blood blister. My older sister injured her head. My sister had a fractured hand. I was not injured at all. I kept reciting, “Master, please save us.” They all recovered within one week. It is indeed that one person practices Falun Dafa and the whole family gets benefit.
A practitioner and I met a young lady one day and clarified the truth to her. She didn’t say anything and left. Soon several police officers drove toward us. One officer grabbed the practitioner’s hand and tried to send her to the police station. I silently recited the Fa.
The police officer released the practitioner’s hand on the way to the police station. All of them left as if nothing happened. We continued clarifying the truth to people. Thank you Master for constantly protecting us.
• Police Officer Couldn’t Move
I came across a young man in the square on Sunday. I chatted with him and learned he was an auxiliary police. Some time ago some police officers from his police station took away a practitioner’s Falun Dafa books. I asked him to do good and kind things, not do bad and evil things so that he would have a good future. He wanted to speak but was not able to, and wanted to walk but was not able to. He couldn’t move. I left and didn’t know when he left that place. Master helped to station him. It was the power of Falun Dafa.
• Predestined People
One summer afternoon, I went to the square to clarify the truth to people but no one was there. It might be too hot. I asked Master to send someone.
I soon saw an elderly man pushing his wife in a wheelchair. She said she couldn’t walk. She underwent treatments in Beijing and Shanghai but nothing helped. She went to a temple and prayed but she didn’t improve. She wanted to give up because she didn’t have money to seek more treatments.
I asked her if she believed in God. She said yes. I taught her to recite “Falun Dafa is good and Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” I gave her a Shen Yun DVD and asked her to repeat the verses and watch the DVD every day. She said she would.
When I saw them four days later she could walk a little. She said that she was looking for me. She and her husband thanked me. I reminded them that our Master saved them. They thanked Master.
• I Corrected My Mistakes
I gave a pamphlet to a child on the street. He was happy and started to read it. His mother came and grabbed it from him. She read it briefly and then threw it away. She cursed at him and then she cursed at me. She said that I shouldn’t harm her child. She kept swearing at me.
I sent forth righteous thoughts to clear the evil beings and evil elements that prevented her from hearing the truth. I told her, “I apologize! I didn’t know you are his mother. I was at fault. I should ask your permission first.”
She said, “That’s correct. Okay, please give me the pamphlet.”
I gave her another one. Her child took it from her and read it again. This was the power of righteous thoughts. The evil elements that controlled her were eliminated. She awakened and restored her kind nature surfaced.
• Teller Accepts Note with Truth-Clarification Messages
I went shopping in the supermarket to buy some food for Chinese New Year. The teller saw the money I handed her had the messages: “Heaven will eliminate the CCP and help China” and “Falun Dafa is good” printed on it. The teller said she couldn’t accept it because she was afraid her boss would swear at her. I told her that I only had notes printed with these messages. A long queue formed behind me.
My heart beat a bit faster. Master said “...just by remaining unmoved you could handle all situations.” (“Fa Teaching Given at the 2005 Canada Fa Conference,” Collected Teachings Given Around the World, Volume V) I repeated this Fa, the righteous thoughts verses and I asked Master to help me validate Dafa.
At that moment another staff came. He grabbed the money from me and looked at it. He said that he would take the note to the boss. He came back soon with the note and said, “Okay, no problem.” The teller then accepted the note.
I came home with food for the New Year. When I stepped out of the lift, I felt my body was hot and full of energy. I passed the test thanks to Master’s protection. Thank you Master! Falun Dafa and our righteous thoughts have immense power.
• Distributing Shen Yun DVDs
One day a practitioner and I went to distribute Shen Yun DVDs in the village that was several kilometers away. We brought 60 DVDs. When we arrived, every household was shut.
Where had people gone? I thought we came in vain and I wanted to take the same route back home. We took a different route. I saw a group of people on the roadside when we walked out of the village. When we came closer, we saw they were digging a trench to lay cables. I realized that Master led us there so we could save them. So we started to chat with them.
I said, “You work very hard. The predecessors plant the trees; the successors sit in the shade. You create blessings for future generations. You will be blessed as well. We come to bring you blessings. We’ll give each of you a Shen Yun DVD. Shen Yun tells stories from ancient China.” We also clarified the truth to them and asked them to remember “Falun Dafa is good, Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.”
They happily accepted the DVDs and put them on top of their clothes on the ground. They thanked us repeatedly. I said our Master asked us to do this and they should thank Master. They said “Thank you, Master! We felt so happy for them and hoped they would watch Shen Yun DVD and have a beautiful future.
My sister was reported to the police when she was putting up posters. She was arrested and interrogated in the police station. She clarified the truth about the persecution to them. The police handcuffed her and hung her on the window frame with her feet slightly touching the ground. She hung there for one day and one night and wasn’t given anything to eat. She was in her sixties.
When I heard what happened I was looking after our very sick mother. I went to the police station first and saw no one in the interrogation room except my sister. I walked up to her and found that she was able to take her hand out of the handcuffs.
I asked Master to strengthen us and protect us. I told my sister to change into the clothes I brought and wear a hat. She was able to escape and take a taxi within 5 minutes. Thank you Master for your help, arrangement and protection.
The police officer realized my sister was gone and sent several cars to look for her. They also set up road blocks at check points, but they couldn’t find her.
The police were very annoyed and harassed her husband and son frequently and asked where she was. They demanded that her husband and son report to the police when she came home, watch her, not let her go out, study the Fa, practice the exercises, clarify the truth, or put up posters… The police threatened them and said if they didn’t watch her, their entire family would be punished.
My sister had relapse of her illnesses under the strict watch of her husband and son, and the constant harassment and persecution of the police. She passed away one year later. The CCP committed another crime against Falun Dafa.
One night I had a strange dream. I was walking in an unfamiliar place and a mountain was in front of me. I felt that a person was following me. But I couldn’t see his face and could only see a part of his chest. He wore ancient clothes and kept following me.
I heard a big noise after I began walking on the mountain. What was the noise? The person following me said that a big tree fell. I came closer to the tree and saw that many black muddy people pushed each other in a hole and tried to climb onto the branches of the falling tree and get out of the hole. Some were nearly to the top of the tree. People underneath shook the tree and they fell into the hole again.
I stopped and looked at them. The person behind me urged me to walk forward. I kept walking until I got out of the mountain and saw a road with a group of black muddy people. The person behind me urged me to walk forward again.
I heard the black muddy people screaming and wanted to turn back to look at them. The person behind me said, “Walk forward! Walk forward!”
When I walked toward the person behind me, he disappeared. I didn’t know what I should do. I woke up.
I pondered at the dream and its meaning. I realized that Master had been looking after me and protecting me. He was worried that I might deviate and fail in keeping up with the Fa rectification progress so urged me to walk forward in the critical moments. He reminded me that no matter what happened around me, I shouldn’t get distracted or delay my cultivation out of curiosity of something else or my cultivation level would drop. He reminded me that I must walk forward steadily and righteously according to the Fa principles and have strong and determined will to continue cultivation as I just started.

I will listen to Master, cultivate diligently, study the Fa more and well, do the three things well, let go of attachments, look within to find out my attachments and let go of them, improve my xinxing, assimilate to the universe’s characteristics of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance and follow Master to my original home.
Thank you, Master, for what you have done for me. I hope to be worthy of your compassionate salvation!
