Additional Persecution News from China – November 24, 2025 (14 Reports)

(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 14 cities or counties in 8 provinces, where at least 26 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Cao County, Shandong Province] Ms. Gao Menghua Imprisoned

Ms. Gao Menghua, around 75, was admitted to the Shandong Province Women’s Prison in mid-August 2025 to serve a four-year term she was given in August 2021. She wasn’t ordered to start serving time back then due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

2. [Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province] Ms. Li Chunhua Emaciated from Hunger Strike in Detention Center

Ms. Li Chunhua has been detained in the Qiqihar City Detention Center for a month for filing complaints against the police for torturing her. She refused to wear a prisoner’s uniform and was hung up, handcuffed, and shackled. The clothes that her family sent to her weren’t given to her. She started a hunger strike to protest and is now extremely emaciated.

3. [Nantong City, Jiangsu Province] Mr. Han Wei Facing Trial

Mr. Han Wei, a native of Heilongjiang Province, is scheduled to be tried on December 1, 2025 by the Chongchuan District Court in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. He is currently held at the Nantong City Detention Center.

4. [Jiamusi City, Heilongjiang Province] Six Practitioners Arrested in One Day

Six practitioners in Jiamusi City were arrested on October 29, 2025. The practitioners were taken to the police department for interrogation and released later that day.

Mr. Shi Mengwen was arrested at home by officers from the Criminal Police Brigade of Qixing Farm, Jiansanjiang. The police ransacked his home and confiscated the Falun Gong books, the photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and cell phone.

Ms. Zhang Shouyun and Ms. Cao Xiufang were also arrested on the same day. Their Falun Gong books, the photo of Falun Gong’s founder, and cell phones were confiscated. The police also ransacked the home of Ms. Zhang’s son who is a non-practitioner, and confiscated his cell phone and laptop.

Mr. Chen Dong, Ms. Yu and Ms. Pan Shurong, were arrested at their respective homes by Qianjin Farm Police Station Officers. Their homes were ransacked. The police also ransacked the home of Ms. Pan’s sister and confiscated her cellphone.

5. [Tangshan City, Hebei Province] Ms. Yang Fengjuan Arrested

Ms. Yang Fengjuan was arrested at the Woluogu Market in Yutian County on November 21, 2025.

6. [Beijing] Ms. Liu Quantao Detained

Ms. Liu Quantao was released on bail on November 14, 2025 after 29 days in the Liucun Detention Center.

7. [Wuhan City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhang Huiqiong and Her Father Mr. Zhang Linhua Arrested

Ms. Zhang Huiqiong and her father Mr. Zhang Linhua were arrested on November 7, 2025, by Yang Dongsheng from the Xinzhou District Domestic Security Division, Wang Feng, chief of the Wangji Police Station, and a few others.

Mr. Zhang was released in the evening. Ms. Zhang was first taken to the Xinzhou District Police Department and then to Wuhan City First Detention Center in the evening. She was released on bail on November 21.

8. [Yi County, Hebei Province] Mr. Xu Zejiang Detained

Mr. Xu Zejiang and his wife were arrested on November 16 or 17, 2025. His wife was released later that day due to her health condition. Mr. Xu has been detained in the Balizhuang Lockup.

9. [Chenzhou City, Hunan Province] Three Practitioners Persecuted

Ms. Tang Jiangnan, Ms. Zeng Qinling and Ms. Tang Xueying were sentenced to prison in September 2021. Ms. Zeng and Ms. Tang Xueying both received four years; Ms. Tang Jiangnan was given two years.

Ms. Tang Jiangnan passed away on May 7, 2023.

Ms. Zeng and Ms. Tang Xueying were released on November 4 and 17, 2025, respectively.

10. [Changtu County, Liaoning Province] Practitioner Song Fuyuan Detained

Song Fuyuan was recorded by surveillance cameras while putting up Falun Gong posters on November 11, 2025 and arrested by Jinjia Town Police Station officers on November 21, 2025. Song has been detained in the Changtu County Detention Center since.

11. [Qingyuan County, Liaoning Province] Ms. Xin Kui Detained

Ms. Xin Kui from Caoshi Town was arrested by Shancheng Town Police Station officers when distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in Shancheng Town, Meihekou City on November 22, 2025. She was placed under criminal detention in the Meihekou City Detention Center.

12. [Tianjin] Ms. Zhao Baoyan Detained

Ms. Zhao Baoyan was arrested in late July 2025 for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong. She was detained for 10 days. She has been harassed several times after she was released.

13. [Yinchuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region] Mr. Chen Baozhong and Ms. Li Lanfeng Arrested

Mr. Chen Baozhong and Ms. Li Lanfeng were arrested on November 21, 2025. They were released in the evening.

14. [Yantai City, Shandong Province] Ms. Kong Xiufang and Her Husband Arrested

Ms. Kong Xiufang and her non-practitioner husband were arrested at home by three officers from the Gaoling Town Police Station on November 13, 2025. The police confiscated all of their Falun Gong books, information materials, wall posters, and other personal items. They were released in the evening.
