(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 9 cities or counties in 9 provinces, where at least 12 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.
Ms. Ma Fuyu, in her 60s and a vegetable vendor, was seized at home on the afternoon of November 24, 2025. She has been detained since.
Ms. Ma placed a Falun Gong printout on a car and was photographed by a police officer in early November 2025. Her home was subsequently ransacked. While she was released after hours of interrogation, she was arrested again two weeks later.
Shao Qun, Ms. Guo, and two other practitioners were arrested in late November 2025.
Ms. Jiang Huiqin, 70, was arrested at home at around 7 p.m. on November 24, 2025, by more than 10 officers from Huangpi District Domestic Security Division and Hengdian Street Police Station. She was detained the following day. The location of her detention wasn’t known. Her incapacitated husband is now left at home without anyone to care for him.
Ms. Yu Yincui, 62, was reported to the police while distributing Falun Gong materials in the Zuolingxincheng area on November 13, 2025. After checking surveillance camera footage, officers from Zuoling Police Station and Gaoxin Police Department arrested her. She was taken to Wuhan First Lockup and detained for 10 days.
When her family went to pick her up, the guards refused to release her. Staff members from Zuoling Street Comprehensive Management Office forcibly took her away, while six men kept her family from approaching her. Ms. Yu is currently being held in a brainwashing center in the Baishazhou area.
Thirty plainclothes officers broke into the home of Ms. Lyu Xia’s mother and ransacked it on November 20, 2025. Ms. Lyu was there, ill and bedridden and unable to take care of herself. The officers stayed there until the afternoon.
That same day, Mr. Wei Changbao, his wife, and their son from Yinan County; Ms. Ju and Ms. Zhou from Mengyin County; and a female practitioner from Xinglong New Village were also arrested. Their homes were ransacked as well, and their printers, large quantities of Falun Gong materials, paper bills with Falun Gong information printed on them, and Falun Gong books were confiscated.
Ms. Gao Haiying, 61, was arrested on November 14, 2024, by officers from Songbei District Police Department and South Xiang’an Street Police Station. She was sentenced to one year in prison by Daowai District Court. She was released from Harbin City Detention Center on November 14, 2025.
Mr. Wang Limin and Ms. Wang Yumei visited Ms. Yang Shuzhen on November 25, 2025, as Ms. Yang became incapacitated and blind after suffering a stroke. As soon as both practitioners entered her home, nine officers followed them and forced their way in. Without saying a word, they confiscated Ms. Yang’s Falun Gong books, music player, and other items.
Zhang Haoran, head of Panshan County Domestic Security Division, officer Zhang Jiaming, and officers from Xinglongtai District Domestic Security Division arrested Mr. Wang and Ms. Wang. They interrogated the two practitioners at the Chuangxin Police Station and at the Huibin Police Station respectively. Their homes were ransacked. They were not released until nearly 11 p.m.
The officers also ransacked Ms. Chang Shuxia’s home around 5 p.m. on November 25. They confiscated Falun Gong books and dozens of Falun Gong informational calendar booklets. She was then taken to Huibin Police Station for questioning and released around 10 p.m.
Ms. Zhao Xinyun was released from Anhui Women’s Prison on May 31, 2025, after serving a 3.5-year prison sentence.
Ms. Zhang Jianping, in her 50s, was arrested on November 2, 2025. Her home was ransacked. She was detained for seven days and released on November 9.
Mr. Li Qinben was telling a young man about Falun Gong, when the young man took a picture with his cell phone and called the police on November 9, 2025. Wang Lixia, an instructor of Chengguan Police Station, and officer Liang Yongkang arrived, cuffed Mr. Li’s hands behind his back, and pushed him against the trunk of the car to search him.
Mr. Li refused to cooperate and ran away. The young man who made the call caught up with him and kicked him in the chest. Wang and Liang chased after him and called two more officers. They dragged him into a police car and took him to the police station for interrogation. Wang, Liang and another officer took Mr. Li home for a search around 6 p.m. They didn’t find any Falun Gong related materials and left.
Officers Liang and Tian Xingyu took Mr. Li to the county public security case-handling center to collect a DNA sample and record his voice. Before releasing him, they threatened to further investigate his case.
Mr. Li experienced severe pain in his chest, right leg and arm for over 10 days.
