(Minghui.org) Today’s news from China includes incidents of persecution that took place in 5 cities or counties in 5 provinces, where at least 8 practitioners were recently persecuted for their belief.

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Xia Detained
2. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Zhengxun Admitted to Prison
3. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Xi’e Transferred to the Brainwashing Center
4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed
5. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Meihua Harassed

1. [Jinzhou City, Liaoning Province] Ms. Gao Xia Detained

Ms. Gao Xia, 55, was arrested by officers from the Taihe District Domestic Security Division in mid-October 2025. Her home was ransacked. She has been detained in the Jinzhou City Women’s Detention Center.

Ms. Gao has twin daughters. She has been caring for her mother and mother-in-law in recent years.

2. [Pingdu City, Shandong Province] Mr. Li Zhengxun Admitted to Prison

Mr. Li Zhengxun, 73, was arrested on March 5, 2025. He was sentenced to one and a half years and fined 2,000 yuan by the Jimo District Court on July 3, 2025. He appealed with the Qingdao City Intermediate Court, which ruled to uphold his original sentence on August 26, 2025. He was admitted to the Shandong Province Prison on October 15, 2025.

3. [Anlu City, Hubei Province] Ms. Zhou Xi’e Transferred to the Brainwashing Center

Ms. Zhou Xi’e was arrested for distributing informational materials about Falun Gong in a residential building and given 15 days of detention. When her husband went to the Anlu City Lockup on October 26, 2025 to pick her up, he was told that she had been transferred to the Changsong Brainwashing Center by Anlu City Domestic Security Division officers.

4. [Laishui County, Hebei Province] Four Practitioners Harassed

Ms. Yan Heling and Ms. Zhang Fengge were harassed by the Songgezhuang Township Police Station officers on October 21 and 23, 2025, respectively. The police took photos of the practitioners against their will.

Mr. Zhang Xiuqi and Ms. Yang Lanying were harassed by the Laishui Town Police Station officers on October 24, 2025. They questioned Ms. Yang whether she still practiced Falun Gong. She said yes. They ordered her to do it at home and not to go out to tell people about it.

5. [Meizhou City, Guangdong Province] Ms. Zhang Meihua Harassed

Ms. Zhang Meihua was harassed at home by two officers from the Baohua Police Station on June 17, 2025. She was harassed at home again by three officers from the same police station on September 10, 2025.
