(Minghui.org) Falun Dafa practitioners in Adelaide attended a parade on Australia Day, January 26, 2025. They displayed the principles Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance.

Adelaide is the capital city of South Australia, as well as the biggest city and commercial and culture center of the state of South Australia. Adelaide is the fifth largest city in Australia.

People in Adelaide attended and watched the parade enthusiastically, although the weather was very hot that day. The theme of the parade was Respecting Country. In the parade, Falun Dafa practitioners showcased their exercise movements and elegant classical costumes along with a thousand other participants from different ethnic backgrounds. People waved enthusiastically and took photos.

The parade departed from the Adelaide Oval, walked through the Festival Bridge, and arrived at the Elder Park. People gave rounds of applause when the Falun Dafa group was introduced to them.

Many people in the VIP seats waved to welcome the Falun Dafa group. Ms. Zhang, a Falun Dafa practitioner, said, “Several MPs whom I met in the past waved to us. They knew us and expressed their concern about the practitioners in China who are persecuted. They looked sincere and enthusiastic when they saw us.”

Ms. Chen, a Falun Dafa practitioner, was touched when she saw that people were truly enthusiastic, and the MPs and the organizer were also supportive. She said, “I’d like to thank the Australian Government and people for their support of Falun Dafa. We have a peaceful cultivation environment and are treated well here. Some of the MPs shook hands with us. We’d like to show people from different ethnic groups how wonderful Falun Dafa is.”

Before the parade and after the parade, people invited Falun Dafa practitioners wearing classical costumes and yellow T-shirts to take photos with them. Two young men from Pakistan found out about Falun Dafa and some traditional culture from a practitioner. They were very happy. One of them said, “I will look for more info about Falun Dafa online. I have your words in the photo.”

Dong Ming (alias), a retired teacher from Guangdong province, China has been in Australia for over two years. He greeted us and felt happy to see us in the parade. He knew that Falun Dafa practitioners are good people and are persecuted by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).

He said, “The CCP is really bad. It killed the students during the June 4th Massacre in 1989. The CCP is rotten to the core.” He said he knew the truth and what the CCP really is all about. He agreed to withdraw from the CCP and its youth organizations during the parade. He sent his best wishes to Falun Dafa practitioners.
