(Minghui.org) At least 17 men from various parts of Gansu Province are still held at the Lanzhou Prison for their shared faith in Falun Gong.

The Lanzhou Prison is designated to jail male Falun Gong practitioners in the province. It has 15 divisions, with practitioners detained in the first 11 divisions. 

The prison has two main sections, a living quarter and a workshop. The living quarter comprises five buildings with about 3,000 inmates in total. Each floor of the buildings houses about 150 people who have to share six faucets and six toilets in the only restroom. There is a long line every morning waiting to use the restroom. After a long day of work, the inmates must return to their floor. They can at most walk around in the hallway. No other workout is allowed. 

Below is the list of the 17 practitioners still serving time at the prison.

1. Mr. Wang Liqun, 61 and of Qingcheng County, is serving a 12-year term. He stood trial on February 27, 2023, and was sentenced at an unknown time. 

2. Mr. Zhao Yujie, around 45, is serving a 9.5-year term. The former worker at the Forestry Survey and Design Institute of the Qinghai Provincial Forestry Bureau was arrested in February 2020 and convicted in November that year.

3. Mr. Chen Yongsen, around 66 and a retired employee of Ganguang Factory, is serving a 9-year term. He was also arrested in February 2020 and sentenced in November that year. Domestic security divisions in Linxia Prefecture and Linxia City were responsible for his arrest.

4. Mr. Yao Lishu, a 44-year-old former middle school teacher in Qingcheng County, is serving a 6-year term. His sentence followed his arrest in June 2023. He previously served a four-year term between 2008 and 2012. 

5. Mr. Jiang Minghui, 50, a former deputy director of the Planning Department of Lanzhou Machinery Bureau, is serving a 6-year term. He was arrested on August 4, 2021, and sentenced on July 10, 2023. He previously served a 7-year term (2004-2011) also for practicing Falun Gong.

6. Mr. Wang Jincang, a 52-year-old resident of Gangu County, is serving a 6-year term. He was arrested on September 20, 2022, and sentenced in September 2023. He was admitted to the Lanzhou Prison on October 18, 2023.

7. Mr. Li Wenming, a 60-year-old former employee of Lanzhou Locomotive Factory, is serving a 5-year term. He was arrested on August 23, 2022, shortly after he finished serving 19 years for raising awareness about the persecution. He was convicted in late February 2023. 

8. Mr. Wang Ailing, a 61-year-old farmer in Zhenyuan County, is serving a 4.5-year term. He was arrested on May 10, 2022, for posting photos and videos about Falun Gong in a WeChat group. He was released on bail on July 6, 2022, only to be taken back into custody on March 1, 2023, and sentenced on October 13 that year. 

9. Mr. Gu Fuman, a 65-year-old retiree in Baiyin City, is serving a 3-year-9-month term. He was arrested on January 14, 2022, and sentenced at an unknown time. 

10. Mr. Chen Deguang, around 78 and a former employee of the now defunct Northwest Branch of the Fourth Metallurgical Construction Company, is serving a 3-year-8-month term. He was arrested on March 20, 2023, and sentenced in early April 2024.

11. Mr. Wang Ligui, a 62-year-old resident of Baiyin City, is serving a 3-year-5-month term. He was arrested on January 14, 2022, and sentenced at an unknown time. 

12. Mr. Zhang Youhong, a resident of Minqin County, is serving a 3-year-4-month term. He was arrested in October 2021 and sentenced in April 2022. 

13. Mr. Wang Shijun, a teacher at Yanmiao School in Bali Town, Jingning County, is serving a 3-year-3-month term. He was arrested on March 22, 2023, and sentenced at an unknown time. 

14. Mr. Zhou Junqi, around 60 and a former worker at the coking plant in Shandan County, is serving a 3-year term. He was arrested in May 2022 and sentenced on March 31, 2023. His appeal was rejected on May 31, 2023.

15. Mr. Liu Zhanqi, a resident of Baiyin City, is serving a 3-year term. He was arrested in early 2021 and sentenced at an unknown time. 

16. Mr. Ma Zufu, 61, a former Chinese teacher at No. 1 Middle School in Jingtai County, is serving a 1.5-year term. He was arrested on July 13, 2024, and sentenced at an unknown time. He was admitted to the Lanzhou Prison on November 4, 2024.

17. Mr. Li Jiankui, a 73-year-old retiree of the Gansu Nuclear Industry Geology 212 Brigade, is serving an unknown term. He was arrested on November 25, 2020.
